Lux Aeterna is one of the most overused compositions for any kind of amateur work. It's impossible to not disconnect from what you see and immediately think in Requiem from a Dream or any of the dozens of trailers that have abused from it. Yeah, a great melody, but already a cliche.

The movies were terrible excuses for entertainment and the only joy I got was ridiculing the awful plot, nonexistent character development, laughable acting, and lame action sequences. I fully believe change can be a great thing between movies and their source. In the case of Resident Evil, however, change was truly a nightmare.

By harsh sentence, I meant the person who said the director deserved to be shot. It wasn't that bad. A response like that is quite frankly idiotic. Also, the acting was far from laughable, I'm not sure how many low budget horror movies you've seen, but that is laughable acting, actually I don't laugh, I cringe at that. Sometimes it's more the script than the actors that makes it seem like bad acting though.

I'm all for alternate styles and progression in one franchise or another, but I watched the first one and it made me laugh. I heard from a friend who watched RE apocalypse, and the zombies literally crawled up from the cemetary like in Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. I forgive the game makers, but I don't think it makes any sense at all. The G-Virus reached rotted corpses?

Isn't it the t-virus? The explanation in the movie was that the virus re-animated dead cells, and since that was all the corpses were made up it affected them.

There was a whole explenation of why the virus was created, the dude created the virus so that his daughter could walk but blah, blah, blah, it didn't go quite as planned and then Umbrella came and took the data and research from him. That's the short version.

the only reason Jill wont be appearing is because Sienna (who i thought personified jill wonderfully, even down to the outfit) was caught up with filming that stupid movie Eragon. I always thought that it shouldve been Jill with ALICE as a back up in the RE films..not the other way around. Jill is one of the longest running characters in the RE games (she even appears in some video games).
