  • See, this is actually cool technology. It's a pity every thing humans make gets used to harm or oppress others.

  • @MinisterAilingTongue Which is why I have discovered Free, unlimited energy!

  • wtf this was like four years ago jsst amaging now in 2011 how fast they r now

  • looks like fun as long as the wind doesn't blow.

  • why are they no using GPR to find the IEDs for are soldiers

  • Copseye has come, good night and good luck.

  • Kind of reminds me of that, Imperial probe droid, that was used to find the rebel base on the planet, Hoth. In the movie, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back.

  • @4SCARECROWS Hey, I was just about to say that it reminds me a the Imperial probes sent out by Darth Vader to find the Rebel Base on Hoth.

  • The British Royal Engineers are using this in theatre now, and it has proven an effective tool in finding road side bombs, unless the wind is blowing then it renders this thing useless!

  • Hell yeah, MAV is a UAV for dumbasses. Is that the real need of US army?

  • This is flawed since it makes the soldiers stop. They may as well walk on foot instead of using any vehicles.

  • @Tzimnewman3 They can operate this from inside a armed vehicle, using deferment sensors they can detect moved earth which can indicate a bomb,

  • @chadbytheway Good luck with that one.

  • @Tzimnewman3 I was on the team engineering some of the sensors powering these things. I'm not sure that you understand the point of them. The MAV is pre-programmed with flight points up to 10 miles away and released. It's a scout. The soldiers stop moving because they're checking for ambush and snipers before they continue. They don't want to keep moving until they have that info.

  • These were on TV back in 2005. Not news

  • good news

  • Cute little techno-idea....but surely impractical. After all, having found your IED sweating next to the road, you've either got to wait for the device and operator to arrive or have one of these things with you. And all that kit takes up good space on a vehicle and/or looks like a bitch to hump through the desert.

  • @NuguSmedley Ok now image one of these things a lot smaller (maybe the size of a marblel) sitting on your shoulder. You approach a building that has confirmed targets located inside, but you're not sure where. This thing flies off your should and zips through each room transmitting a shot by shot view to an eye-piece attached your helmet. Bing! you locate the target hiding behind a door three rooms ahead. You click a button on your wrist and it wisps back to your shoulder .)

  • @Rayrockny

then gets stuck in a spiderweb... :)

  • @Rayrockny

Naturally, i do respect both the tech and the need for such equipment, i'm really just playing devil's advocate. Sometimes i cannot help but feel that our troops are becoming too reliant on the tech difference between them and our foes to win battles. Arf, maybe i'm just jealous... we never had kit like this!

  • Honeywell does not realize the real meaning of the word micro in MAV

  • Since we have all this awesome technology, why cant we make robots to grow food and build everything so humans can focus on just being human, experiencing life and pushing the frontier of technology forward. I will tell you why? Cause we have fucking monetary system and money rules everything...

  • @AnarkiCZ so u think if robots start growing food and we stop using money for trade all human race will suddenly stop being ignorant and retarded and will live happily there after?

  • @ActiveStorage Pople are just under-educated and educated by this system... people are not born stupid (at least not 99% of them)

  • @AnarkiCZ Yes, but 100% of us are born ignorant and far too many choose to stay that way.

    * At least the stupid have an excuse.

  • @AnarkiCZ whenever there is a system there are ppl educated by this system. Whenever there are ppl educated by some sort of a system there is ignorance. Why? Because any system is man-made therefore flawed.

im just saying one cant simply take 99% of population out of the system and liberate them lol. If one tres he\she will end up creating a new system for those lucky 99% of us. Even if one doesnt want to. Yes, it will be a better system no doubt. But.. well you get my point

  • oh look, it has 666 written on it too

  • @scott12at wow you are right.... at :53

  • @scott12at oohh look. : ) huahuahuahauahuaaa

  • this is alien technology, brought home by a space expedition team. How do i know it? you guys took the technology from my planet!

  • the world is going to an end because of human's technology, just wait and see

  • It could make an audit on the amount of wasted earplugs on ground down at the shipyard.

  • @zenak2 Especially the dragon skin!

  • Where can i buy this kind of aircraft? I need this in our country....

  • @acerjun

Start saving up your allowance today!

Failing that, use your brain and invent one.

  • @zenak2 dragon skin was deemed unsafe by the us millitary because the glue that holds the armored scales fails under high tempatures like in iraq of afghanistan...... they also figured it was not worth it to replace there inventory of 40 million m4s and m16 models for a weapon thats just a little bit better....

  • 666 on that fucker

  • starwars XD where is the laser ^^

  • this is a good tool to prevent alot of these fucking IED

  • I would like to see that go to 10k ft my ass. Not enough fuel.. Battle field play toy.

  • lmao right?

  • that happens in full blown war, industry becomes retrofitted for armaments production blah blah blah. Think, if the military would make upgrades like that hippies and doves would get their panties in a knot.

  • a pitty you can reconize this thing from miles away and shoot it down...better they use robotic birds, nobody would know. ( click on my name and you will understand)

  • Not many birds in the middle east!

  • if their showing us this, then imagine what they cant show us....

  • @survival12345 good point, like the 1995 Nellis video of some type of verticle take off vehicle which appears to able to change its airframe in flight. Also if you consider when the YF-12A and SR-71 were developed, the 50's 60's,we have no clue as to what they may have flying by now.

  • Can't till we have all our unmanned robotics networked to a supercomputer so they can operate more efficiently. :)

  • Skynet? lol

  • MoneyHell 666.

  • Remindes me a bit Mr. Handy.

  • HoneyWell made my air filter....

  • good go and attack china with it lol lol lol

  • they probably made it!

  • true lol

  • smart thin to say, they make everything overthere.

  • LOOKS LIKE SKYNETS GOT A LEG UP

  • looks like an easy target to bring down.

  • WASP (Williams Aerial Systems Platform)

  • kinda flies like the W.A.S.P. ....different concept/size but visually similiar

  • dragonfly is much better !

  • Get meh one those!!!! NOW!!

  • P.S. Hey I think I see Dick Cheney piloting that thing.

  • I think there's a more powerful technology they run than we'll ever know about but hey, it's your tax money anyway right? You needn't worry on that, be well citizen!

    ::Que E.S.B music!! LOL.

  • IMPERIAL PROBE DROIDS!!!!

  • Hahaha...that's just what I was going to say.

    Awesome;

  • LOL^^

  • The dark empire is here!! The Imperial Drone. Oh no! where's the laser?

  • imagine then a news about a sasquatch like creature popped out of the wood and destroyed one of these things. then we all can say.....irony....lol

  • Did anybody else notice that the damn thing had three sixes on it?? Now I'm not tryin to get all Apocalyptic here but that's pretty creepy!!

  • Hmm, looks good!

  • don't show this to the stupid UFO hunters...they'll think they just spotted a new UFO!

  • true sayen..... HAHAHAH... lol

  • id rather be killed by the virus so as to know where im going to heaven due to my believe and if yo dont believe it may God help you.

besides im in the process of making a fpv heli and could use that for spy.

  • Believe in what exactly?

Religion is a farce, your just to brainwashed to see it. Why would you want to be killed by a virus? Your a pathetic excuse for a human being. Your probably apart of the NWO trying to tell us its okay to die from a virus! You are a serious nut job, your names suits you - "Crazy by name, Crazy by nature".

  • I absolutely agree with you

  • Lol, is that coming from the guy who just said there's gonna be a new world order which is gonna enslave 1/12 of mankind while the other 11/12 are killed by Birdflu(Or Influenza) virus? Don't be silly. XD

  • lol, If I noticed that I wouldn't have agreed with him

  • Lulz, kk. Now ima go watch out for Georgian Guide Stones and try not to get Bird Flu XD

  • Anyone can deploy an unmanned drone...they're called RC Planes. You'd be surprised at what you can see with a small digital camera mounted on one.

    watch?v=bnhFb1nhYX4

  • Cool! Military technology is the best. Long live the Empire!

  • The empire is there.

  • Thank God
