  • ...when Quantrill comes marching Lawrence...

  • The american flag looks all busted up

  • The only true Americans are the ones who lived here before Europe came knocking, I myself have Welsh/Irish Heritage.

  • @GeneralSturnn How the fuck are they Americans, when there was no nation called America before the Europeans.

  • @jonathanascencio133 Nations of Native Americans. Europeans used biological weapons to depopulate Native Americans. Their homeland security has been active since 1492.

  • @HDNighster1 Your talking about the immunization to diseases like the measels right? It wasn't purposeful but it did do the job

  • @FaultlessName Measles, smallpox. NA were never exposed to these and nonimmuned. death rate from smallpox is over 70 to 100%. Ex., Brits used it to wipe out Pontiac NAs during 1750's. Europeans settlers used it to kill on NA in NE Oregon during wars with NAs, etc.

  • @FaultlessName But we as Americans learn from past mistakes, especially of dark side of America. We move ahead and has become the most powerful nation on earth.

  • @GeneralSturnn Nicely said dude. But as you know, we are all Americans. The basic theme that repeats in American history is immigration. The true Americans are those who come here for that dream; as our forefathers have done. Since we are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc, generations, we have no appreciation as to what it means to be an American.

  • @Bluesky363 video2mp3 (dot) net

  • PM me if you want to see my huge cock

  • Respond to thYes it might not beAmerican, but many Irish immigrants came to America. Not surprising many English and Irish tunes blended into American culture (Naval Hymn, My Country Tiss of the, "I'll Fight for Uncle Sam". America is a blend of many different culutres, but it was born out of England.

  • hi please could you send me this song?

  • Long Live America >

  • Ooh- Rah...

  • Yipie ka-yay motherfucker !

  • I can play this =D

  • His Armband said he was a Red, Torres Torres

You'll Never Walk alone it said, Torres Torres

We brought the lad from sunny Spain, he gets the ball, he scores again

    Fernando Torres, Liverpool's Number 9 :D

look for 'Torres Song' in youtube, thousands of fans singing to this tune :)

  • I love this melody ; the beginning of it is nearly the same as a country song I love too : "ghost riders in the sky"!!!

  • this is an anti-war song not a military march!

  • @LeProutski Where do you get that from?

  • @jshark70 the original version is called ''Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye'' its a popular Irish traditional anti-war and anti-recruiting song. Just search it here on youtube you'll find a couple versions

  • for everyone who thinks this is irish: it is, but it was used in america... some centuries ago when new york became a big city the irish all went over there and the people who lived there first got pretty pissed because there were so many of em... they started fighting and this was one of the tunes the irish used.. now the americans 'stole' if from them....

  • Most american marching songs are irish or british in origin.

  • Dr. Strangelove. Watch the movie.

  • This is indeed Irish, not the American Army Tune.

  • Army all the way!! The Back Bone of the US Armed Forces.

  • @0:48 it reminds me of the CRIMON SKIES (game) theme music oO

  • It's Torres' song :) <3<3

  • hEireann go bragh.... greetings from hEireann (Ireland) to America

  • Union!!

  • You know by my posts that i generally agree with that. I would like to point out though that russia was content to watch germany roll over everything including England. It wasn't until germany broke the treaty and attacked russia that they fought for their survival. England and France both attacked germany coming to the aid of an ally and both paid a very heavy price. I personally wouldn't put russia in the same category as that.

  • @The1stDukeDroklar Countries reasons for fighting doesn't really matter, if ur defending an ally or defending yourself what matters is the fact that we all took up arms

  • @B1ackdr4g0n I'll have to respectfully disagree with that to a point. To me, saying it doesn't matter takes away from some of the heroism that was displayed by so many other countries that got into the war when they didn't have to "for immediate survival and defense".

Which is more heroic? A friend who jumps to your aid fighting a thug who will most likely beat you both OR a friend who runs away (signing a treaty) and only fights the thug when the thug runs him down and tackles him?

  • @The1stDukeDroklar yeah but tbf the only people who would say that they are joining the war to help out their allies would be the governments of each country who did no fighting what so ever, it was down to each induvidual man who joined to do the fighting and most of them would say they were doing it for their country and thier families. Heroism isn't determined by the excuses goverments give for going to war but by the citizens belonging to that country and any russian soldier was equally...

  • @B1ackdr4g0n

It's a good point about the heroism of a gov when they aren't the ones doing the dieing and i will think more on that point over time. My initial response though is that i don't believe there were any large protests in france and england when they came to the aid of the ally so i would guess that the majority of the pop was supportive and therefore heroic in nature.

It's a better point concerning the nature of the russian people who were not as free to protest any gov decision.

  • @The1stDukeDroklar ..as brave as any american or brit, more so even, i wouldn't be able to bring myself to charge against a machine gun without any weapons

  • @B1ackdr4g0n

I guess it is far too easy to judge a people by the actions of their government when in reality, the people of the world are subject to their goverments whether they like to think so or not. Bread and circuses my friend...

  • ...as did every other country involved, if anyone needs more credit for helping to win WW2 it's the Russians as most people forget their role in the fighting. Even the Aussies, South Africa, Canada and many other countries that i've missed out should get more credit for their part played. We need to remember that the "World" Wars were much bigger than just Germany, Brittain and the USA.

  • I don't know why all countries feel the need to state how much they helped win WW2, every country helped and the war wouldn't have been by a single country no matter who it was, the only issue i have is that Americans far too often try to act as if they swooped in in shining armor and saved everyone and that only their contribution had any impact. Likewise the Brittish (me included) try to act as if they didn't need the USA's help which is just stupid as the USA played a key role in WW2..

  • @B1ackdr4g0n for reals. russia did most of the work in WWII

  • @jdubs2004 to be realistic you'd have to go back day by day from 1940 to 1943

and measure it by the equipment, men and all else thrown into the foray, and how fast, and remembering factored in USSR was not in both fronts

  • @Tubbytoobs more casualties in the siege of Leningrad than American and British casualties combined for the whole war. the USSR took the brunt of the fighting in Europe. Normandy was just a side show. Yes, the U.S. did all the work in the pacific because Japan got its ass kicked by russia in the border wars and signed a non-aggression pact. i feel like im being perfectly realistic

  • AMERICAN MILITARY MARCH FAIL!

  • Is it just me or does anyone else get fired up when they hear this...Great Tune.

  • @MrRockett24 hell yeah! fucking kill some terrorist ragheads y'all!

  • @mikefan09 I didint mean it like that mate....obviously you get a fair bit more fired up than me...ha ha.

  • @MrRockett24 Lol, didn't you know any feelings of patriotism means you're a redneck? Sheesh, get with the program, it's in vogue to be anti-american ;)

  • @The1stDukeDroklar HA really? If UR patriotic, means UR redneck now hey...jeez. UR right actually, every1s Anti USA now so must be in vogue. Im Australian so doesnt bother me one way or another, i just love the tune. Am requesting it become Club Song (diff words) for New Aussie Rules Club starting over here. Wont like the club, I have my own, but some clubs here have really poor songs & I think this song promotes strong Patriotism, loyalty & strength...just what a footy club should have.

  • @MrRockett24 LOL, yeh i do this music just reminds me with its military beat that we r still at war with an enemy that deeply hates us, and ive dealt with those savages everything we hear about them is true, they just blindly hate americans and think females are their slaves. so when i hear this im reminded of all that and how much better we are and our right to get back at them for 9/11., before they try something worse. AMERICA! HELL YEAH! lol

  • Вот под этот марш мы вас и похороним, АД УЖЕ ЗДЕСЬ!

  • bella,ricorda i film si John Wayne

  • Today this is most appropriate. Last combat troops have left Iraq and for many wives, mothers, sons, daughters, their johnny will come marching home.

  • FUCKING BEST MARCH EWER!!!!!!:D now this is vhy the hell america is one of the best country.s ewer!!!!!!:D

  • @TheAirsoft91 Ha! Yeah... and yet, you wouldn't even be there if it wasn't for the English. Only good thing about America is the film industry and the nice scenery.

  • @frasierfreak92

Yeah, i guess the fact that the USA helped greatly in defeating the nazi takeover of the world means nothing. It's also pretty lame that we give the most foriegn aid and humanitarian aid of any nation in the world bar none.

As an American, i never forget (and teach my children) about Englands friendship in modern times and how France saved our butts in the revolutionary war. It's a shame others have such short memories when it comes to the good things about the USA.

  • @The1stDukeDroklar Well, the Allied Nations had been doing pretty well on their own, then after Pearl Harbour, USA turn up as "saviours of the world". By the time America turned up, two thirds of the German army had been defeated on the eastern front, and it was mainly the Soviets who did most of the work, taking out over 65%.

Get over your patriotism, America was in it for itself. Oh, and dropping A-Bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima - that's a war crime.

  • @frasierfreak92

I agree 100% that too many Americans overstate our contribution in WW2 compared to that of the other nations. Notice i made an obvious effort to state that we "helped" in WW2. I have always applauded and teach my children that if it weren't for the resistance in France, the enormous effort by England and Russia that we would have been taken over as well.

Doesnt however remove the fact that we got into the war when we didn't have to and turned the tide..

  • @frasierfreak92

Contiued: England and the RAF were in shambles. Germany received a devastating blow by the russian army but neither had the capability to invade fortress europe. He would have just rebuilt as his industrial complex was still intact and technologically superior to everything else fielded by any nation by roughly 5-10 years.

Japan didnt surrender after the 1st bomb so it's arguable to its neccessity. Its ez to say you wouldn't do it when your life isnt at risk.

  • Germany did not make everything superior, as the Luftwaffe found out over British skies. Saying America didn't have to join the war is like saying the same for Britain, Hitler asked many times for alliance and peace with Britain and offered to let us keep the empire but it was a case of long term survival just as it was for America.

  • @smoochym

1- Check your facts. The RAF was nearly wiped out when they made a strike on Berlin (IIRC). Hitler switched from targeting the RAF to civ populations which gave the RAF time to recoup a bit and historians say that is what prevented the land invasion of Britain. All of Europe ignored Hitler as he grew in power and eventually began taking countries. Basically they didn't get into it until there wasn't a choice. Since Hitler broke every treaty he ever signed... Cont....

  • @smoochym

4- ... He assigned the ME262 to bomber role rather than air superiority. He attacked US shipping bringing us officially into the war. Worst mistake was breaking treaty with russia opening a second front and underestimating the tenacity of the russians scorched earth policy and the time required to take russia. Being unprepared for the winter ended all chances of victory on the eastern front.

Look, i love the Brits and respect the efforts of all the nations as i stated originally.

  • Also, there were many British and Commonwealth scientists who helped the Manhattan Project.

  • @smoochym

2- ... his offer of "being able to keep the empire" was meaningless.

The USA gave support to the allies long before any german attacks on the US. It was this support that was the reason Germany gave for attacking the US shipping which brought us officially into the war.

Their planes were faster by 10-15 mph faster thatn anything else fielded by any other nation at the start of the war. The ME262 was around 100mph faster. Some of their tanks could outrange others... cont...

  • And you think America could of invaded Fortress Europe without the UK as a staging area? Battle of Britain and the "shambles" RAF were the first major reason why Germany lost the war.

  • @smoochym

3- ... by nearly 2x. Most tanks couldn't penetrate their front armor. One of the reasons the US M10 was developed late in the war.

Where exactly did i say the USA could've invaded alone or anything at all about who participated in the manhattan project? I didn't, so what's your point?

The reason Germany lost the war is mostly due to several major tactical errors. He switched from British military targets to civ targets....cont...

  • @frasierfreak92

Continued: I'm curious what you mean by " you wouldn't even be there if it wasn't for the English."? It was the English that tried to snuff out the newly forming USA. It was France that came to our aid and prevented the power of the English navy from swaying the struggle in Englands favor. We owe THEM a huge debt of gratitude for the founding of this nation and we as Americans should not foget that..

  • @TheAirsoft91 please note that there's a diffenrence between the letters v and w.

  • @TheAirsoft91 not really. america copied this song from the irish. johney i hardley knew ya.

  • I've been accused of 'flattering' America by comparing Britain's KIA during World War 1 with American KIA during the American Civil War.

All l said was, I was surprised by the closeness of the figures. There's nothing flattering about either figure, they don't flatter America and they don't flatter Britain.

If I had wanted to flatter America I would have said how great it was, what a wonderful sacrifice it was that there were so many KIA in the American Civil War.

  • LONG LIVE DA SOUTH!!!!!!!!!! CSA 4EVA

  • nice..see: watch?v=NU3YO-M_2xE

  • beautiful song :D

  • херня западная

  • @47kolashnikov47 Иди на фиг пока тебя в наше проклятое буржуинство не забрали.

  • Love this march!

  • if i ever rob a bank ill put this song on my ipod and listen to it while i do it... it worked in die hard ;)

  • Hey, where'd Major Kong go?

  • YouTube should have a loop-video button!!!

  • ah, die hard 3!

  • The only U.S. Military song worthy of being called one, European stuff especially British and German stuff is much better! ... but still i like this one :P

  • @waffen22 To be fair, this is not even American... It's Irish.. "Johnny i hardly knew ya."

  • @LFC0610 they r 2 different songs with the same toon

  • @LFC0610 Irish like my ancestors FOUGHT the war for the Union, so it is not surprising that we adopted some songs from the mother country. That does not make it any less American. As a matter of fact, it makes it MORE American, because its adoption is what we are all about.

  • @LFC0610 right, but the Irish song was very doom and gloom. (not saying that's not an accurate depiction of war). The American version is hopeful -we'll give him a hearty welcome, instead of where are your eyes? My ancestors came from Ireland, but I like the Yankee spirit as well.

  • @LFC0610 some say the irish version was made to mock the american version. No ones really sure which came first. Ones a traditional war song and the others a traditional anti-war song.

  • @LFC0610 very true..... irish pride :D

  • @LFC0610 so true

  • @LFC0610 yes and the dropkick murphies did it thats how i know that

  • @LFC0610 No its not, to be fair its an American song with American lyrics put to an Irish tune known as Johnny I hardly knew ya

  • @Lambchop08 Yes it might not beAmerican, but many Irish immigrants came to America. Not surprising many English and Irish tunes blended into American culture (Naval Hymn, My Country Tiss of the, "I'll Fight for Uncle Sam"). America is a blend of many different culutres, but it was born out of England and is rooted out of Europe

  • @Askerban I'm of Irish decent, youre preaching to the choir here man

  • @Askerban Exactly because everywhere the English went, the Scots/Irish (who England had under their wing) and people of other nations jump at prosperous oppertunity that the English are good at establishing. Anyway the number of Americans of British heritage, has out numberd the population of Britain. Over 20 million Americans are decended from the pilgrims alone.

  • @Askerban And it always amazes me the lack of culture and intelligence of some people in this country of ours. We speak E-N-G-L-I-S-H in America. Where was the English language spawned...hmmmmm....I don't know...maybe E-N-G-L-A-N-D. People seem to forget about our roots, how this country was formed and the fact that the USA is a melting pot of cultures and beliefs.

  • @LFC0610 Is it "anti-war" or was it "anti-British" or something else related to the time about when it was written (approx. 1840ish).

Also, just because someone says something on You Tube, doesn't necessarily make it a fact. This song was actually re-written and used by the Confederates as they anticipated a short decisive war over the Union.

  • @LFC0610 It's American cuz it was made by an American. An Irish-American named Patrick Gilmore.

  • @LFC0610 totally right!!! ire ftw, usa screw u!

  • @LFC0610 to be fair do your research its a old hymn from the civil war era of america. Johnny i hardly knew ya was a remake by irish patriots. sorry to burst your bubble

  • @Pbrock67 ACtually this predates the american one because the "Author" of this song was an Irishman who borrowed the tune from the irish song and made it a Union Army song.. Sorry to burst your bubble

  • best military song ever :)

  • very good song.perfect melody

  • I never understood how this song is associated with American military when it's an Irish nationalist song

  • @mooseclamps well to be fair its common across the US and Canada... i mean one of the Canadian Military's main march songs "Campbells are Coming" which is an old Scottish Clan song... I think its to do with the descendants etc... cause there was a lot of Irish immigrants or sons of immigrants fighting for the Union and Confederate armies.

  • @mooseclamps A lot of Irish fought in the Civil War.

  • @mooseclamps -because the yankees nick everything-just heard "its a long way to Tipperary" -which is a British WW1 song-they re now claiming it.

  • @toonmag50 Yeah and who the hell got their asses handed too them in ww1?

Don't be such a sore hypocritical type now..

  • @81kamill -It may have escaped you but WW1 lasted from 1914-1918. I cant remember GB loosing this, considering we lost one million soldiers. Oh , just to remind you the US contribution re manpower was less than Bulgaria.,fielding never more than 50,000 during the whole war. France lost nearly 400,000 at the battle of Verdun, GB lost 50,000 in one day at the Somme

pipe and smoke it old bean

  • @toonmag50 There were 1.3 million American boots on French Soil and the US actually had 116,708 KIA and 205,690 wounded. Bulgaria which was a Central power had 87,500 KIA and 152,390 wounded.

  • @absolutetruth810 -a yankee quoting statistics is like a gardener growing a tomato plant-"1.3 million soldiers in WW1" -you re a joker-the US only joined in the Autumn of 1917-it finished a year later and it is 3300 miles away -how many ships ,how many ports needed, and not one hit by a u boat- try again

  • @toonmag50 GB lost 900,000 and it was 19,000 killed in one day at the somme with 50,000 casualties

  • @gobabygo90809 ( Probably) like you I'm British and probably like you I still feel for those 19000 British soldiers killed on the first day of the battle of the Somme in 1916.

I was reading a book called The Civil War, published in America, and apparently the KIA of both sides in the American Civil War were not far short of the total British KIA in World War 1.

From memory, I think the figure is about 600.000 American Civil War KIA compared with 750.000 British World War 1 KIA.

    Surprising.

  • @afewtube -your reply appears to be an implied fawn to them-the yankees. You read like a researcher for the history chanel.-shoe horning somthing flattering but distorted about them. Please dont cross reference their civil war with WW1. GB lost one million, with an additional 100,000 Empire soldiers. You are correct about their statistics re their civil war mortality rate.

  • @gobabygo90809 -GB lost one million and the British Empire lost an additional 100,000 = 1.1 million.

  • @81kamill You're a fucking towelhead aren't you? I knew it.

  • Idk when i listen to this song i just picture an assembly line making tanks and weapons and stuff all preparing for war, is it just me

  • yes..................................!

  • U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • usa is the best, fuck the rest !

  • @AugustMate81186 spain is wineer

  • i thought that song was for the confederates, maybe i was wrong

  • @MrWildwestern

    You are wrong!!!

  • It sounds better when they sing Hooray instead of Hoorah.

  • United States is weak, the strength is in europe .... and not the barbarians, but in the great civilizations of the Mediterranean

  • @patriafutura i'm pretty sure we could send our Marines, and a few Navy, and you wouldn't be saying we're weak.

  • @patriafutura

Heh heh he, Ha ha ha Ho, Ho, Ho. You be crazy or what????

  • @tumsabai1 no friend, it's just the truth, the West exists thanks to the great civilizations of the Mediterranean. usa power became Due to the European wars. without the European wars United States would be little.summarizing the true essence of the best is europe

  • Greetings all you homosapiens!

  • They made a terrible parody. It upsets me greatly that people would take a great so g nd make it bad

  • New lyrics needed for when Algeria beat the U S of A and the yanks go marching home. . . .

  • @keegan341

ha... if you are our hat, that meens mexico is our feet

  • @beepee46 Algeria? Do you realize they got half of their equipment from us and Russia? From the 90s? this is 2010, the f-35s, a few Marines. our Navy, and some tanks would DESTROY them.

  • very encouraging melody: D !!!!!!!

  • @bochen88p China can't do shit, and china now it can't do shit. If you start wars chinese men will be so poor like never before and more impopular, and if you still live in the system you do now you will be as poor as you are today, while your state takes money from the poor people, China is a sad country.

  • @Imhornydadcomeinside please don't spew your ignorant misconceptions everywhere because someone just might take your nonsense seriously
