  • it's still healing and it's been 12 days now. its still pealing and it started peeling after the first 3 days... it isnt itchy but i got inked on my outer forearm and the hair thats growing back in over the tattoo is itchy. it looks like it got some light scabbing spots on it. my first tattoo didnt. the first one i used the ointment for 2 weeks then lotion after it healed. it took long to heal and its small.

  • my artist told me use the ointment for the first 3-4 days, not weeks then use the lotion

  • Can i use petroleum jelly its basically a skin protectant?????

  • @ortiz2468 many places would recommend it, but rather try and get A+D ointment or Bepanthen. Alternatively get tattoo goo or a similar product.

  • @ortiz2468 i heard that petroleum jelly actually pulls the ink to the outer layers of the skin, i wouldn't recommend it

  • 138551 videos shit!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have got a question! I know it is not good idea to make a tattoo in summer but is there a problem if I make it on winter?

  • @miriam725100

Well you can't swim or be in the sun for two weeks, so winter is the best time IMO

  • @HeynesProductions great but I was meaning...........oh,no matter thank you :)

  • olive oil is best moisturizer

  • Nice tat? With work like that being represented and can't imagine taken advice from this guy even if he is reading a script

  • How many times should I moisturized per day.

People keep saying moisturize for 2 weeks but no one says how many times per day!

  • @RickySteveAndKarlFan

just make sure it doesnt dry, simple as that.

  • How does this guy know about tattoos, i cant even see one on him!

  • I have a friend how has a tattoo a week a ago he said that that artist told him if he doesn;t take care of it he will get small blisters and he got small blisters will it still go away or what he can do about it??

  • @auxbel your friend has now received herpes from unclean needles.

  • Vaseline work?

  • haha i just HAVE to say this. this guy looks like ellis from Left 4 Dead 2 xDDDDDD

  • @younglink615 hahahahahahah holy shit man thts good stuff!!!!!!!!!!

  • @UGAallDAY11 xD well he does xP

  • This is the 4th day I have a tattoo. But it looks awful. It looks dry and cracky, like it's a sticker tattoo i used when I was a kid. Is that normal? The tattoo studio i were in, tod me to wash it three times a day with my hand. ad using a special creame after every time. Is that wrong?

  • @bellaspinny well that depends i also got mine 4 days ago. mine is on my chest but mine doesnt look like that at all. mine looks fine. what creme are you putting on it??? ik petroleum filled creme is BAD cuz it doesnt allow oxygen to get through. use A+D ointment VERY good stuff. and did you do research? was the shop you went to good? always look stuff like that up

  • how do i know when my tattoo is done healing? I have red bumps and pimples around my tattoo on my arm and red bumps on my tattoo what should i do

  • @philly442 sounds like a infection

  • @philly442 your using to much cream

  • Natural based oil such as kukui, almond or tea tree oil if you can find it, are the very best. It is absolutely not harmful to the ink and will shorten the healing process. Avoid petroleum and wax based products, too much antibacterial soap and ointments. These are pore clogging or drying.

  • use benatraicin antibiotic ointment

  • How often should you apply ointment on a tatt? Jus got mines today.

  • so juss use lotion n shit??

  • i used vaceline is this good or bad???

  • @kriliden SO SO BAD!!! :(

  • @KILLAHARTLESSKILLA oil is bad for ink mate

  • i used the a&d for 2 or 3 days then i used aveno unscented for the rest and my tat is looking and feeling perfect. also it's not some little tat it's pretty big with a bunch of colors so yeah

  • dont us vitamin a, d, and/or e lotion! they can pull ink out of ur tattoo...use utterly smooth hand lotion, which u can find at walmart

  • i use Vitamin A+D ointment and regular tattoo ointment like ink fixx

  • @TheNextAvrilLavigne thats the same thing i use

  • nc represent what what!

  • soooo i used neosporin for the first 3 days...and i read that neosporin is NOT GOOD for a tattoo... is my tattoo gonna come out messed up now???

  • Ey so i got a tattoo today and he didnt give me any tips, i got my back done and im wondering how the fck am i gonna shower? Can it get wet and soapy or not?

  • @TheNewShaman dont let the water hit it directly and iif you wanna use soap use the unscented soaps

  • so question guys, i got one done yesterday, the artists wrapped it in plastic wrap, and then told me to leave it completely completely dry....

i read somewhere plastic wrap should NOT be applied... EVER.

what do you think about the advice I was given?...legit?

  • its been 2 days,i havent used anything at all,and its kinda scabbing

  • peeling and drying are normal for new tattoos,it's part of the heeling process, the first couple of layers of skin are going to flake off to reveal a new layer of skin and a great looking tattoo, just don't pick at the dry skin and don't over mousturize it.

  • So even once the Tattoo is fully healed... you always have to moisturise it?

  • @ThisIsRickyGervais no, its just important during the first few weeks, i just lotion my tats every now and then when i lotion the rest of my body

  • @ThisIsRickyGervais only for about a month for fuck sake listen to the vid

  • All artists recommend different things..because different places use different inks..like i use Lubriderm for mine and my brother uses A&D ointment..because we got them from two different places..they both look good

  • when they say wash it, does that mean rub it with lotion or actually wash it with water?

  • Usually they want you to use a UNSCENTED antibacterial hand soap..cover the entire tattoo and then immedietley dab off with a wash cloth...dry the area and then put on the lotion they recommended

  • @staind531 im gettin my first tat on tuesday next week, and going shopping tomorrow so i should prob pick up some soap like that lol, any kind of unscented antibacterial soap? does it have to be hand soap?

  • @HPFreak4Life1708 I usually get Dial soup, and yes it has to be hand soap..and your artist should let you know what kind of ointment to put on it..and if he doesnt ask him:)

  • even after the two weeks pass i should keep Moisturizing my tattoo ?

  • i just got my wrist tattoo and the guy who did it said i can't wash it for a week n half and he also said that i can't even let get wet when i take a shower is that true???? cuz i thought ur supposed to wash it everyday can someone help me plzzz

  • no, he gave you false advice. you're suppoosed to rinse it off. don't soak it for too long though... dont go swimming or anything like that.. but yeah you're supposed to clean it often

  • check my channel for great prices on tattoo needles, machines and more

  • Why some artist dont use vaseline?

  • because if the tattoo is colerd all the ink will fade and it will almost be like u never hade it but if its black u should use vaseline
