1. flats- unless you have a meter reader on sharps and flats of vocals and could effectively measure this in mathematical terms then i will have to refer to your view as just a matter of opinion.

2. musicality- we can be purely technical all day regarding the level of difficulty and infinite combinations of techniques that can be used in art/musical composition, but the fact that it falls under the realm of the arts makes its purpose and criticism subjective. its still a matter of opinion.

at sa mga najojologan sa commercial, di kasi tayo ang target audience kaya ganun. but im a bit happy to know that the band's slowly recovering from the political image brought about by the impression of being tied to political figures. kahit pa man, thankful pa rin kami sa PCSO for the opportunity.

the song was really intended for PCSO (in fairness, sa mga mahihirap marami na talaga naman yang natulungan). i hope u guys could listen to the full version of the song. the song is about hope. jon, our guitarist rendered a classical Bach-inspired guitar solo that blown us away during the recording. mahusay na musikero. maganda rin ang art direction ng tv ad. siguro may mga nagtwist dun sa story board kaya lumabas na political ad yung para sa PCSO lang talaga.

i hate to be an apologist for whatever weve done pero honestly the band wanted to walkout from the shoot seeing the backdrop-video wall. hindi yun ang na-present sa amin sa storyboard meeting. commercial ang pursuit ng grupo (no pretentions on that, kailangang maghanapbuhay at mabuhay) aside from the fact that we also want to come up with good songs and play the music that we want, kaya tingin namin we might alienate those who are anti-gma as potential market and audience.

the safest thing to do is to be apolitical (theoretically impossible, i know) or at least not to be identified with any political personalities or groups (its a baggage sa branding and its a real pain in the ass). whats done is done, we just hope that soon, people would appreciate the band for the merits of its music and not for whatever it was initially identified with.
