I know this is random, but there he is again...David "The Pants" Archuleta. Every time I see him I think, "Man, look at how great he looks in those PANTS!!" The guy just knows how to wear them, haha. IMO, David has the most charismatic and magnetic on stage persona since Elvis. If he's on stage, doing ANYTHING, your eyes are glued to him. Anyone who's seen him in concert knows what I'm talking about.
You are so correct. I have been to 4 David concerts and he lights up the room, both with his voice and his smile. When he sang "Oh Holy Night" last Christmas, I just stared up at him (I was in he second row) and cried. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

I chuckle when I hear David being compared to other current pop "stars." There is no one on the scene today that remotely compares with David. Not just Nigel, but everyone involved in American Idol is manipulative in one way or another. They try to get stories and want even gossips to get high ratings. David's true musicality was shadowed by the manipulation. But as he always says there is reason for everything, and he was not supposed to win as he wrote in his book, Chords of strength. Although Nigel knows what's going on behind the curtain, he also knows David is a heck of a singer, beloved one, and rare voice to find.
I heard that they got a demo track, not the final track on his album for this show. I really want to listen to the final one. I am going to order the Deluxe version on iTunes because there is a bonus song. I love bonus songs because they usually don't make the regular album not because of the quality but because of the fit for the entire album theme.

If fox brings Lithgoe back to american idol, he shouldn't be a judge, announcer/host or producer. ha ha. Another fantastic performance by David Archuleta and what a perfect song for a charity event such as this. It actually sounds a bit "country/christian" which is further proof that this guy can sing anything and his voice just seems to keep getting better and better. I have to keep reminding myself that he's only 19. The sky is the limit for someone with this kind of talent!

He comes out on that stage with a confident walk and fantastic look then proceeds to blow us away with stellar vocals and heartfelt lyrics. This is the beginning of many more spectacular David moments that are going to continue to amaze and astound. I am soooooo ready! :-)

Yet another great song off of his upcoming CD. When he sings this song in concert, the entire audience will be singing along. I plan on being a part of a few of those audiences, and I highly recommend the same to anyone who appreciates David's enormous talent and beautiful heart. David will drain the cynicism from your soul foever.

Another fantastic performance by David Archuleta and what a perfect song for a charity event such as this. It actually sounds a bit "country/christian" which is further proof that this guy can sing anything and his voice just seems to keep getting better and better. I have to keep reminding myself that he's only 19. The sky is the limit for someone with this kind of talent!

@jiggelypuff44 He was on this morning around 2:00 a.m. I recorded about 4 sessions. He was on the midnight session that was over 2 hours long.
David's voice and tone is obsolute perfection!!! His voice is what I call HEAVENLY!!

I watched LATE last night on the east coast and unexpectedly starting to cry during this performance. He just moved me so much with this song and his passion while singing it. MDA I hope you realize what a gem you had in David. You should use the song as a theme song and have David as a major spokesperson. He is beautiful inside and out!
