It might be good training, but I stopped watching at 0:16 because of the horrendous "sound track." I use that term because it is too awful to be called "music."
All these moves that he does, I know that he taught Malissa Loll, who Used to live In Texas, learned those moves when she were at age 8 and now she's the same as
Master Wong. she's no longer want to be listed In YouTube because of her privacy
i don't really like mr. wong and his systems of fighting, the wong wing chun serie or the jkd body weapon for instance but you gotta give him credit for what he has achieved in terms of business.
The guy can barely speak english but with his fighting talent he's managed to set up a thiriving business in a field he clearly loves.
Like it or not, original or not, efficient or not, kudos to him for the hard work he put into it so that other people can improve on their warrior path !
@linge179 Talking about Sashes? Im not sure every group uses them It's not traditional. Each group uses different things as well. I am from the William Cheung branch I trained with Master Jerry Bolding and several other teachers and im at level 8 we use a Green Sash for 8. Our class goes White, Light Blue, Blue, Brown, Brown, assistant Instructor Black, Black, Green, Green, Teacher Gold, Master Red.
-> put that behind teh question mark: v=_OzVNq37IPs
that is what i mean, how it should look like
in terms of continuous flow - and that it doesnt have to be contrary to accuracy and effectiviness. Call me typical german if you like, we prefer accurancy effectivity also in combat.
No - Because you ALWAYS have to consider your own safety first. Wing chun, like some other styles, does allow for simultaneous block and attack moves, but the important thing is that it uses the opponents positioning and shifting of balance to open them up for far more devastating blows. Timing is everything.
if you talk about "block" then you dont talk wing chun.
every plummer can be a bad ass with a heavy fist, but a wing chun master masters wing chun. this guy is what the amirican sould admires in paul hoogan - but i trully have seen greater wing chun masters in my well over 10 year w-c study.

Ur not a master to stay calm like that in the real battle! Learning in about over 10 years then you can fight with style in the streets.

In fact it is all about accuracy and perfection of movement.. just that the guy is not yet a master

i am missing the seamless flow of power
everything seems to count 1,2,3 - hit 1,2,3 - hit. Shouldnt it be hit, hit, hit ?
does it come across what i mean? etchy robot like movements as if he has to consider the next move mentally, which shoul not be the case.
however, this guy looks like he would win anyways:)
