I've always asked myself : why a GREEN screen? Why green and not like... purple or orange ?

@shogun1556 Well first of all you can't have a red, black, brown or pink screen because when you remove the backround in your editing program later then skin, hair or clothes will disappear too. But ofc you can use a blue screen too if you are not going to wear anything blue. So it's mostly chroma green because you don't wear that color often and it's a bright color so the program can easly render it out :)

I heard that neon green was opposite of flesh tone. So it makes sure that the skin stands out against the background and doesn't blend in.

@shogun1556 well you can have other colors, some people even use a blue screen...but it depends, whatever gives the highest contrast difference between you and the screen. Obv a green screen wont work with a green t-shirt ;)
