2k8 is the first basketball i have played on 360 and it is a great, but as with all games, they aren't perfect, so these are a few pointers i don't like about the game

1. when you are waiting for the person on the side to give you the ball i can sometimes take a while, well it has online a couple of times, and i was waiting for like a minute

2. sometimes when you take a throw from your end, your player just randomly throws it of the court

3. glitches on replays that are seen easily

Just wait coz it is pretty much the same as 2k8 but you wont have to update the rosters which takes fuking ages! and also the graphics may be a little better. if possible

this is a great game but the only thing I dont like is the hot and cold streak. If you dont win fresh out the gate its almost impossible to comeback even with the best defenive plays

The lay-up problem isn't a problem, you never miss wide-open layups. but if ben wallace's afro sweat is pouring into your eyes as you go in for a lay-up, you won't make it.

I just got NBA 2k8 for the PS3. I noticed that i dont really see the sweat on the players in NBA 2k8 unlike 2k7 where u can see sweat pouring down the players face when they take a free throw. Please comment if anyone agrees, thanks.

I would say that the gameplay is based on hot and cold runs.

For example, if i miss a layup or a shot the opponent will make a three and go on a 15 to 2 run.

So it doesn't matter if you've got a 25 point lead at half time. It's still very possible to lose by 20.

that is its' downfall, the computer AI's performance is based on how well you do. If you have a big lead, the other teams shooting percentage will go up dramatically. It's BS.

in my association im playing with the heat i am averaging 29.4 points per game and won mvp award with wade im in the eastern confrence finals leading 3-1 against boston in game 4 there was 4.5 seconds left i was down 91 90 i hit a long 2 with wade and won it
