Its not anywhere near 600 horse buddy. You may be making about 400 ish on a stock charger, and 425-450 with a 62/xx/xx charger. You need a lot more fuel and air to make anywhere near 600.. or a lot of happy gas
what else do you have done to the truck?? You must be spraying to make 500+ with only 125 hp injectors. Nice truck. I have a 1998.5 dually thats white and black and all decked out as well. I cant wait to get mine on a dyno.
Sure, my truck is a 5 speed manual and have always been able to smoke it up on any occasion. Alot easier in a manual / high gear to roll coal...Hard on clutch though
I have friends that LOVE the Smarty, and I'l be buying one for my 2006 Dodge Cummins sooooon. As far as the injection pump upgrade....If you have sticks bigger than 125hp or 150hp you'll need a bigger pump to take advantage of the fuel flow. I personally would talk to the guys at Coal Train Diesel and ask them what they recommend for your situation. They also have 300hp sticks for a reasonable deal amongs other things. Hope that helps...

Can you still use a Smarty Programmer with the Hotrod VP44? and is it worth the extra $800 more than a stock VP44?
