Socialism by definition is a theory or system of social organization of government that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, , of capital, land, etc.

By definition, socialism is unconstitutional. And more over, by definition, is not the way America is supposed to be run! So for all those who feel that America has always had a form of socialism. I say, the only way that would be true, is if we allowed Obama to do whatever he wants.

Yes!. Egalitarian socialism does not create a fair society for all it merely drags everybody down to the lowest common denominator, while discouraging the pursuit of excellence. Looking to history on this, you will see our first settlers under William Bradford had socialism when they first got here. The theory was that everybody worked and shared all including land. The problem became that some people worked hard and some did not. By the second or third year hardly anybody was working and the group almost starved to death. Bradford then changed the way things were done and implemented land ownership and democracy. By the second year they had so much they were selling it
