Something I found interesting: when you gave the suggestions about the bucket and balloons and his arms didn't really move all that much, it was very clever the way you got him to test the heaviness himself by moving his arms. People are not simply more or less suggestible but also suggestible in different ways, so while he didn't respond so well to the direct suggestions of heavy/light arms it's clear that he did still feel that one was heavy and the other light, which is what really matters.
very good, but if you want an advice about sth that helped me to amazingly improve my performance: ask for more information and for more feedback from the one being hypnotized. e.g: what does it feels like; can you describe it to me.
you're very good, though I find the exchange of information between hypnotists very useful, and its awesome to have others commenting your work.
For all people wanting to perform hypnosis, this opening sentence is a classic: "Have you ever been in hypnosis before?" It's better than "You've never been in hypnosis before, right?". Why? Because it's the first distraction strategy and trance inducer. People go in search of the answer, which can be (ab)used to fire a first suggestion and you say: "you just relax and can hear every word I say" and build your pre-talk further from this opener. Other than that great Katherine!
Great video. I loved your explanation about different ways of hypnosis without being hypnotized by a hypnotist so thank you for that. Loved the suggestion test and staircase inductions, I actually was into it, a lot..lol. Can't to wait see your next one.
I would say though. I find (not applicable here of course but it's a good habit to get in) it's good to avoid the words "wake up" at the end. Because on occasion it can ruin a perfectly good post-hypnotic suggestion because they might think "wake up? but I wasn't asleep, I guess none of it worked" and your suggestions are destroyed.
Jerry Kien said that in one of his lectures.
Other than that it was great. I love the double suggestion with the weight and lightness.
haha. I came here to watch someone get hypnotized and I got hypnotized myself somewhere half way through.

another thing... I had to deal with some trouble in the past because I took someone very rapidly out of a deep deep trance.
