hey man brilliant cover could you tell me what settings etc you had to get this sound because it is fantastic and so close to Larry Carlton's tone I have a fender strat too but haven't found tone that close to the original song cheers man

@j0nnyb193 10 gauge strings, erm Rotosound yellows I think I used. Rolled off the two tone controls to about 5-6. I'm recording into a Boss Micro BR which has amp simulations on it... I think the amp simulated was a Vox AC30 with some sort of tube drive pedal in front of it? Listen to your guitar in headphones, then listen to the actual song in your headphones. Compare Larry's tone to your tone. Then keep shaping your sound until you get it close to Larry Carlton's, that's how I did it!
