I love reading people's complaints about cb on ham bands...well you know where the power button is?...If you don't to share...change the channel or turn it off! Don't be too mad at them because they weren't stupid enough to throw away money on a license to talk on the same bands.

It's in the transmitter audio - the CBer is using what's called an echo board - it adds echos and other annoying effects to his audio, making him unintelligible :)

Why? No idea.

But nope, you can't stop it (unfortunately).

Well, I use it all the time not worried at all - to be honest, as long as you are set up correctly and not causing interference no authority would care!

Sorry you have to refer to it as illegal. I think we should all get the 555 legalised why is this such a problem!

I know - it would be great if it were legalized - its just a disclaimer that I called it 'illegal', which, for now anyway, it is.

illegal USB its some of the best places for dxing far better than fm

Not as good as the ham bands for DXing though - plus its dead most of the solar cycle. :S

Recorded in my house today (11/02/07) in my room. Scanner is Yupiteru MVT-7100 and it was just a random wire antenna about 40m long that I used to receive.
