I have been admiring this freeform doily. Do you have a pattern for the swirl doily that represented Hurricane Ike? I have been looking for one for quite some time until I saw yours. Hope you have a tutorial, if you haven't already made one with you busy schedule. Thank you in advance.
Teresa, I have tried and tried to do a 'mesh' type surround on circles and then joined the mesh together on each one as I crochet. My problem is I seem to get a bump as I put the two together. Have you any ideas what I am doing wrong please.
I'm learning to crochet from your videos, and this is the most amazing piece I've ever seen! Thanks! However, I'm going to stick with the beginner projects for now!
Every time I see this video I want to sit down and make doilies in free form like this, representing different incidents that have taken place in my life--- I am very inspired by this cool video- thank you for uploading it!
Framing these and hanging them as a picture would be beautiful if you don't have tables that are always clutter free : ) I would if I had your talent!
hi teresa i've been wanting to learn how to make dolies. i have a really old pattern book that was left at my house from someone. i'm not good with instructions. i do better if i can see how it is done. i was hoping if you would do a tutorials on how to make a doile. i would love that. thanks.
This is really amazing and inspiring. I wish I had the creativity for something like that, but over the past few years I've only been a part of the technique of crocheting, not the design. Thanks so much for pointing me to this channel. :D
I have been watching your videos for a few months now and am learning to crochet. You are such an inspiration. I really love your freeform doily and the meanings of the different motifs. Thanks for all you do!!
This is so beautiful and inspiring. My father in law lives in La Marque, TX, only 10 minutes from Galveston. His house was damaged by the hurricane as well. It is so sad.

@sweetbibinka I sent you an afghan that will work as the swirl only you will replace it with thread.

it is an amazing piece of work, you should exhibit it somewhere locally..... how did you join one piece to another? do you have a video?

@shbachan Try pulling the thread a little harder so maybe there will be no bump.

@shbachan With the Bruges lace, I do have a slight raised section with the gathered loops but it is part of the effect
