Lobby was playing well. He looked great and seemed to be at peace. The Hearts did a gig in Brisbane 6 months before. He played well, but there seemed to be a great sadness he wished to address. It is great to have this footage on YouTube so we can share it with the world. Thanks YouTube.

Awesome, thanx Mick. There was no-one quite like the Purple Hearts or you as a singer, although there was plenty of great talent in OZ back then.

Good to see you've still got it - wish i could've been there to see the show and Lobby one last time...

Thanks Mick Hadley. I used to get the train and travel right across town melbourne to Catcher or thumpin tum to see the Purple Hearts The best blues band in Australia ever.

This video was shot in Melbourne in December 2006. Lobby was in great shape. Sadly it was only to last 3 months before before he went to the great Marshall stack in the sky.
