  • thats why you shouldent have electric throttles mechanical is usually better.

  • Im buying a ford

  • This is 100% the drivers fault. Not only did he not have the sense to #1 move the floor mat, #2 put the car in neutral, #3 turn the ignition off. He also INTERRUPTED THE 911 OPERATOR GIVING CRUCIAL ADVICE TO ASK THE OPERATOR TO PRAY FOR HIM. Stupidity, and in this case, religion kills.

  • What the fuck? Push brake pedal, put neutral, or turn the ignition off, damn it...

  • thats y i don't drive cars over 1993. when they built real cars

  • every1 should shut the fuk up...Unless u been in the same situation b4...then go ahead n leave comment...Those mins feels like only secs!!! if not...FUK OFF n keep ur comments to urself.

  • What a freaking IDIOT... This is the worse example of negligence of car owners in more than 40 years of Toyota history. People need to learn how to freaking drive!!!

  • What about putting the car on neutral?

This happened to me with my Camry, I sideswiped the wall, but was able to slow down when I put the car in (N).

  • this is fucking stupid, toyota makes cars for the world, how come this shit only happens in america, i know why cuz we can sue and get money!

  • "It happened so fast we didnt know what to do." then you should not be driving. turn the key off, put it in N. This is not brain surgery. I cant believe a CHP didnt know what to do??? crazy

  • @lander4545 they actually bought a lexus. and to all. mark worked with inspecting cars.. what would u have done? im sure u guys wouldnt be able to think! im sure they tried to do everything they did.

  • Latest US Government reports no electronic problem with Toyota Vehicles according to their investigation this was just released by AP News today and here's another quoto

"NHTSA Deputy Administrator Ron Medford said that in many cases when a driver complained that the brakes were ineffective, the most likely cause was "pedal misapplication," in which the driver stepped on the accelerator instead of the brakes."

  • @emforty2

According to Nasa, Toyota has mechanical failures with their gas pedal. so Toyota is still guilty of building POS cars.

And carquestions owns them 2500 dollars

  • I still think Toyota needs to withdraw from the US market.

  • PUT THE FUCKING CAR INTO NEUTRAL

You deserve to die if your that fucking stupid.

  • @slipperybacon This.

  • @slipperybacon

I was friends with mahala (their 13 year old daughter) and someone who knew the family personally... I just wanted to let you know that the (LOANER) car they were driving had a safety feature on it that prevented the driver from putting the car on neutral. The driver, mahala's father, was a trained officer who inspected cars for safety as part of his job. If anyone could stopped the car, he could. I'm shocked you would be heartless enough to say such an insensitive thing. RIP <3

  • Comment removed

  • @seeingblueskies Wtf are you on about, its a safety feature to put it in reverse, NOT Netural

the safety feature stops it from going into reveres and killing the transmission.

    Park Reverse Neutral Drive +D

  • @slipperybacon im mechanic your actually supposed to put it in neutral and then brake

  • @Dbozz87 What does that mean?

  • @slipperybacon It's 'you're'.

  • @slipperybacon Go fuck yourself asshole! How would you like to be in that situation, huh?!?! Shut up and don't make such insensitive, rude comments on something you obviously do not understand.

  • @TimeWaster001 I would PUT THE FUCKING CAR INTO NETURAL if I was in that situation

OR if that fails I would turn the engine off

OR I would start ripping out wires/fuses

    so suck he fuckhead

  • @slipperybacon You know you really need to get a life you fag! I hope this happens to you one day and THEN tell me how calmly you handled the situation! If you're still alive that is. FUCK OFF!!!!

  • @TimeWaster001 It wont because I would not drive Toyota/Lexus

But If they had enough time to call 911 they deserve to die/crash

remember the gear stick is mechanical not electrical

  • @slipperybacon You know, you really should go back and read through your comments. Do you even realize how insensitive and rude you are being to the rest of these people's family and friends? I don't think you do b/c you're a fucking idiot! People who post comments like yours are the ones who deserve to die! Including you smartass!!! If you had any balls behind your dumb comments you WOULD get into a Toyota/Lexus and demonstrate your superior knowledge in driving b/c you're a fucking mechanic!

  • @TimeWaster001 Did you know one of the recent cases of a Toyota accelerator getting stuck was because some guy was having financial issues and pretended that the accelerator was stuck so he could sue toyota

  • @TimeWaster001 I will demonstart it next month when I get my licence, I will keep my foot on the accelator and put it in netural (but not hold it, that would damage the motor) Its very very very simple fuckhead

  • @slipperybacon Wow, this is coming from a kid who doesn't even have his license yet! Yeah, you know what, you seriously have no fucking idea what you're talking about so I suggest you stop making dumb comments! I'm through talking to you! Oh and btw, that previous comment you posted, I suppose you think the police officer was only PRETENDING to have the accelerator stuck when his family was in the car with them and they all died! You are such a fucking moron it's amazing!

  • Why else do you think people could be so stupid?

    To sue people

  • @TimeWaster001 You sound a little mad

  • u mad?

  • @slipperybacon Yes, I'm angry! How old are you???

  • @slipperybacon STOP sending me messages! This is getting ridiculous! So you're 48 AND 27? Cut the crap you jerk! I'm just going to flag all your dumb comments as spam from now on!

  • @TimeWaster001 Do I smell anger?

  • @slipperybacon whats that?

  • @slipperybacon that is undeserved anger, and disrespect to the dead

  • @royaloreca nou

  • @slipperybacon poor you :( my heart bleeds for you

  • @slipperybacon thats what I would have said too when I heard about the Prius' case. But when I had a chance to drive a Prius the other day, I realize that you CANNOT put the fucking car into neutral while the car is in motion! it has an electronic shifter or some shit. my final statement is, PRIUS sucks! worst car ever! not sure about that Lexus tho.

  • @slipperybacon that's messed up, no one deserves to die >.<

  • @slipperybacon wow have you ever been in a situation like that? try doing that and see how rationally you think asshole.

  • @Asstasticplastic2 yes, im a stuck accelerator specialist

  • @slipperybacon says the kid who can't drive.

  • @Asstasticplastic2 im 26

  • @slipperybacon and you still can't drive?! Damn....

  • @Asstasticplastic2 I have paralised legs, u asshole

  • haven't heard of any runaway toyota for over a year now

so suddenly the problem went away on its own ? all toyota did was replace floor mats and made adjustement to the pedals nothing electronic or mechanical replaced

  • @emforty2 That’s so not true. There was a case of sudden unintended acceleration in Utah back in November 2010. You should google it before you assume there is not a case about unintended acceleration.. Yes, Toyota made adjustments to the gas pedals and checked the floor mats.. BUT ALL 2011 TOYOTA VEHICLES ARE EQUIPPED WITH SMART STOP TECHNOLOGY, A SAFETY FEATURE THAT WOULD HAVE SAVED EVERYBODY IN THAT CAR…

  • Do us health care professionals a favor and dont buy a toyota. i had to tell a mother several months back that we were unable to resuscitate her daughter after their highlander sped up as they were exiting the highway and they collided with another car through the intersection. I work at Denver Health which has the best trauma survival rates IN THE COUNTRY and we werent able to save her. american cars are on par if not better than what japan is cranking out now, support your country

  • @ERdocDO I totally respect you and your job and experience. And any loss of life or injury is terrible, of course. But still, LOTS of cars/parts with these problems are actually Made in USA and the biggest problem about these runaway cars (most of them don't just accelerate and hit something in a second, it usually takes tens of seconds or more before a crash) are the drivers not ready to turn the engine off. Throttle sticking has been around for decades in all car brands.

  • B S

  • nice, toyota has their system hooked up so problems are reported to the car's computer.. thats why it's reading no error or any reports of anything whatsoever.. all it does is give it an all clear no matter what happens.. -_- buncha idiots. either be honest and build good cars or sell ur cars in china..

  • Yes, the problem is stupid people are given licenses, and the industry has known about that for a long time.

  • YOU fucking morons!! don't you know that the reason this is happening is because the penis constributer connection was (wilbur) in default with tha' pipe TIP (/) ?.

  • That radio interference stuff is all bullshit. the pedal gets stuck because the clips on the all weather floor mats break causing the mat to slide up and stop the pedal from returning after being pushed to the floor. and the brakes dont work under full throtttle, because the engine isnt producing any vacuum to supply the booster. people are just looking for attention, and the media is looking for a story

  • I have a 04 toyota and my throttle is not electronically controlled thank goodness

  • @mackc6r From "The Week":

"Toyota engineers have looked at about 2,000 wrecked cars, and they've come to the same conclusion: "Virtually all" crashes were due to drivers hitting the gas instead of the brakes. Notably, they have found no evidence of a defect in the electronic throttle-control system,"

"Some Toyota cars really do have "sticky" accelerator pedals and floor mats that can trap the accelerator to the floor"

Well, at least you can't blame the electronics when you crash.

  • I still find it hilarious that you cant admit you were wrong even after the government has proved this whole thing was the result of driver error. They tested 58 cars that were in accidents, in 35 of them NO BRAKES WERE APPLIED, 14 of them BOTH PEDALS APPLIED, 6 vehicles applied the brakes too late in the crash, and the remaining 4 had either pedal entrapment or no data.

  • @stopindecentvidremov

So how do you know if they brakes were applied or not? Since the event recorder, doesn't record any information. You can read it on Toyota's website

  • @taledarkside The event recorder does record information, otherwise it would be called the event non-recorder. It records pedal positions and a bunch of other data.

  • @stopindecentvidremov The "event recorder" will ONLY record what it was programmed to and nothing else!

  • @lander4545 Are you retarded? How could you expect it to record things it wasnt programmed to record? It was ment to record pedal positions, and proved that most drivers never even touched the brake pedal.

  • @stopindecentvidremov You totally missed the point! But with a car salesman education it's totally understandable! What the ECM won't record are electrical malfunctions that could cause sudden acceleration! Why? Because it wasn't programmed to look for it!

  • @lander4545 You cant prove there are any electronic problems, so you cant therefore go on with your ghost theory and use it to explain everything. You know, aliens could be coming out of the sky and pushing the cars too! Thats just as likely.

  • @stopindecentvidremov I don't need to prove anything electrically because Toyota has already admitted mechanical failure with there pedals that WILL cause sudden acceleration! Either way your speeding out of control. NASA is still testing the Toyota pedal for electronic defects so we'll see about that "GHOST STORY"!

  • @lander4545 Im sorry but you are just a fucking retard. Did you read the results of the investigation? MAYBE 5 vehicles, out of the millions and millions of cars Toyota sells, had a defect. MAYBE 5.

  • @stopindecentvidremov Sorry fuckin asshole but the N.H.S.T.A. does not force a recall for 5 vehicles!! You are a delusional waste land! This is why "millions and millions" of Toyota vehicles were ORDERED recalled by the N.H.S.T.A!! Try using that gray matter in between your ears for something other than farting!!

  • @lander4545 Your just so fucking moronic its not even funny. Toyota has ONE mandatory recall in its history. GM has DOZENS and DOZENS.

  • @stopindecentvidremov Again lame brain Toyota created there own problems and negative media publicity by hiding, lieing and covering up there safety defects! ALL car manufactures will have recalls! The conscientious ones like Ford,GM and Chysler have an excellent record of following Federal law and VOLUNTARILY announce recalls!! Because Toyota's internal documents have been subpoeneed they have announced more recalls that should have been done years ago. In some cases 12 years late!!

  • @lander4545 HAHAHA Thats fucking funny. Excellent record my fucking ASS.

  • @lander4545

look at the idiot, he can't even read Toyota saying the same thing, that it doesn't record.

  • Comment removed

  • @taledarkside Poor stopindecentvidremov! When your firing blanks, selective memory is your only outlet! lol

  • @stopindecentvidremov

You couldn't even answer simple mechanical questions, So I'm sure your knowledge of the ECM unit would be lacking. Just like stupid fuck carquestions video with him having no clue about it too.

why dont you type in Toyotas website and their page about event recorders not recording anything previous to the accident.

  • @taledarkside What questions do you say I didnt answer? So the government has just made up its investigation's concusions? Have they just fabricated the results of the event recorder showing NO brakes applied at the time of the accident?

  • @stopindecentvidremov

did you even bother going to Toyota's website and learning about their control modules?

  • @taledarkside Did you even bother reading the governments investigation results?

  • @stopindecentvidremov

The one that states, they havn't made a conclusion yet based on the evidence. Since ECMs don't record everything. Just like when an OBDII error code is set.

  • @taledarkside No, the one that states almost all of the vehicles tested showed ZERO brake application during the accident. Proving the driver was pressing the wrong pedal or doing nothing to avoid the accident.

  • @stopindecentvidremov

so when are you going to read from Toyotas website, that says its impossible to get recorded data. Or is Toyota working for the government too.

So how do you know if a persons foot slipped off the brake pedal when they impacted a tree? Hard for you to prove when the data isn't recorded

  • @taledarkside Slipped off the gas pedal every single time? Thats almost as retarded as your other theorys. Hmm, a data recorder that records nothing yet the recordings have been posted by the government. That goes quite well with your other wifes tales.

  • @stopindecentvidremov

So now you're saying Toyota is lying on their own website and about their own cars?

  • @taledarkside You have just failed miserably at your attempts to bring down Toyota. Now that you have clearly demonstrated that you cannot read english, will you just admit defeat?

  • @taledarkside That quote means that some of the 21 different Toyotas did not have the recorder, all since 2007 did. BUT MORON, THE GOVERNMENT TESTED DOZENS OF CARS THAT DID HAVE IT AND THE DRIVERS NEVER USED THE BRAKES. HOW HARD IS THAT TO UNDERSTAND?

  • @stopindecentvidremov

uh wrong, the quote never talks about 21 cars, nor saying they did not have the recorder.

need me to post the quote again?

  • @taledarkside What part of that statement are you failing to understand? The GOVERNMENT TESTED OVER 50 VEHICLES THAT DID HAVE THE PRE CRASH RECORDINGS AND FOUND THAT ALMOST ALL OF THE DRIVERS CAUSED THEIR OWN ACCIDENTS BY PRESSING THE WRONG PEDAL? IS THIS CAPITOLISED LETTERING BIG ENOUGH FOR YOU TO READ OR DO YOU NEED TO USE YOUR MOTHERS GLASSES?

  • @taledarkside It means exactly what it says dumbass? What is your point? Several of the models were also not effected in the SA situation....what does that mean? What if the models that do not record pre crash data are not even involved? You have no clue what you are talking about.

  • @stopindecentvidremov

so whats with all the questions. All I asked if you can describe what the quote means. So is that task too complicated for you?

  • @stopindecentvidremov Not to swift are ya?? I'll try this one more time. Many of these pre-crash recording ARE NOT valid because they were NOT programmed to allow for the possibility of an electronic failure! These logic systems have to be "taught" to look for an electronic failure. The "brain" of the ECM will record that the driver failed to apply the brakes whether it truly happened or not, because that's all it knows!! Hello! Anybody home yet??

  • @lander4545 Your just so fucking stupid. NO pre crash recording is meant to deal with an electronics failure. All it does is measure where the gas and brake pedals are. And DOZENS OF THE VEHICLES WITH THE PRE CRASH RECORDER WERE TESTED. THE DRIVERS NEVER USED THE BRAKES. HOW HARD IS THAT TO PROCESS IN YOUR BRAIN?

  • @stopindecentvidremov I give up!! I guess some people are just meant to be car salesman!!

  • @stopindecentvidremov

"several models have EDRs that do not record pre-crash data. Therefore, data regarding vehicle speed, engine speed, accelerator angle and brake application is not available in every make and model."

    States Toyota the liars, right?

  • @taledarkside You are misguided you poor poor soul. I find it hilarious how badly you mis-interpreted that statement. All this means is that not every single Toyota has the event recorder. Only about 80% of them do. Clearly, the vehicles tested by the government DID HAVE THE RECORDER OTHERWISE YOU ARE STATING THAT THE GOVERNMENT FABRICATED THE RESULTS!

  • @stopindecentvidremov

didn't you say the government fabricated reports to make toyota look bad that there is nothing wrong with their cars, and its just a ploy because the government owns GM

so now your agreeing with the government? so which is it?

  • @stopindecentvidremov

However, by the end of 2010, all newly-manufactured Toyota and Lexus vehicles will have EDRs that can record both pre- and post-crash data.

  • @taledarkside "In the U.S., Toyota started phasing in EDRs into its vehicles in 2001 and has had EDRs in all vehicles from the 2007 model year forward" Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. All of the vehicles effected by the recall were 2007 and up, besides the 05/06 Avalon. So yes dumbass, almost all the cars had EDR.

  • @stopindecentvidremov How come you never see a Toyota in a classic car parade??

  • @stopindecentvidremov This will NEVER be a valid test because aside from the fact that Toyota has admitted to a mechanical defect with there pedals; if there were any electronic malfuctions Toyotas ECM would not record the event because it WAS NOT programmed to do so!!

  • @lander4545 Oh really? So a test showing that the driver NEVER used the brakes is invalid just because it proves you wrong? You are like a 5 year old kid that just cant admit defeat.

  • @stopindecentvidremov You also have serious comprehension problems! Reread my post with your mommy so you can understand the context of my statement! I do PLC and logics programming for a living as a Manufacturing Engineer and if you knew how far off base you are you would just shut the fuck up! The test on Toyota is invalid in as far as it is not PROGRAMMED to record an electrical malfuction in the ECM for sudden acceleration! Capish??

  • @lander4545 You clearly have no experience in the field of English. Please explain when and where I stated that the test proved there was no electronic malfunction? The test WAS NEVER INTENDED TO DO THAT, NOR DID I SAY IT DID. It does however, prove that drivers never used the brakes in most of these accidents.

  • @stopindecentvidremov Whether there was an electronic failure or not really doen't matter because Toyota has already admitted to a mechanical failure in there pedal that WILL cause sudden acceleration! Either way you will be speeding out of control! This goes in step with there "moving forward" slogan! Or Toyota could change it to say, "moving forward whether you want to or not"!! lol

  • @lander4545 The only people speeding out of control are morons who press the wrong pedal. If you cant understand that, you should be sent back to 1st grade and start all over again, because somewhere along the way you lost it.

  • @stopindecentvidremov You stupid fuck!! Toyota has admitted that there is mechanical failure in there accelerator pedals that will cause sudden acceleration!! You stupid fuck!! Are you now calling Toyota a liar?? You stupid fuck!!

  • @lander4545 From the Washington post:

(NHTSA) has some good news for Toyota Motor Corp. Of the 58 data recorders analyzed by the agency and the company, 35 showed that the brake pedal was not depressed at the time of the crash. Partial braking was involved in 14 other cases. Drivers were hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake. In short, electronics was not the issue. Human error was.

  • @l337pwnage Not good news!

  • @l337pwnage Toyota has already admitted mechanical failure with there accelerator pedals! Either way you will be "moving forward" whether you want to or not! ;)

  • @lander4545 From "The Week":

"Toyota engineers have looked at about 2,000 wrecked cars, and they've come to the same conclusion: "Virtually all" crashes were due to drivers hitting the gas instead of the brakes. Notably, they have found no evidence of a defect in the electronic throttle-control system,"

"Some Toyota cars really do have "sticky" accelerator pedals and floor mats that can trap the accelerator to the floor"

  • @l337pwnage Toyota engineers? Please, that's like letting the fox run the hen house!

  • @lander4545 The NHTSA is also involved and agrees. I just have a limited space to cut and paste too. Look it up yourself, Google is your friend. :)

  • @l337pwnage You must understand that the Toyota ECM's (data recorders) are only programmed to record accelerating and braking. They were never programmed to "look" for electronic failures and Toyota knows this. Research is still going on at N.A.S.A. to determine if electronic failures are possible. I program PLC's and work with logix (logic) for a living. If you only knew what the possibilites for electronic failure were! An engineering degree is your fiend ;)

  • @lander4545 Rofl, I've had people try to get me to go into engineering, but all the engineers I ever met had to work too many hours, not for me.

Electronic engineering would be challenging, but not as near as fun as mechanical, IMO.

Well, all the humans also looking for electronic failures haven't found any either, so they must be some pretty good failures. So either there are all kinds of totally hidden and untraceable failures or maybe, just maybe, there aren't any. hmmm.. lol.

  • @lander4545 And the defective floor mat caused at least one of the 75 fatal Toyota crashes reported to the NHTSA, killing a California patrolman and his family last August."

So, out of 2,000 cars, the one known "defect caused" accident was a floor mat, lol. What did these retard drivers do in the 70's and 80's before floor mats had to be moron proof?

  • @lander4545 So far, none of those "sticky pedals" are known to have actually caused the accidents that I have seen(there may be updates I missed).

christ, I've had sticky pedals in cars before, lol. I'm just not retarded enough to let that cause me to crash.

  • @l337pwnage From the Asssociated Press: 10/21/2010 Toyota recalling 1.53 million cars. (This total will rise within a couple weeks as it always does) Toyota announced recalls on there Lexus,Avalon and "other" models for leaking brake cylinders which WILL lead to the loss of braking. These models are also being recalled for faulty ELECTRONIC fuel pumps which will lead to stalling engines. At this point I actually feel bad for them. Most of Toyota's problems are from poor internal quality audits!

  • @lander4545 Well, you may not realize it, but there are -always- various recalls going on with many brands. I drive GM because they are cheap, easy to fix, and easy to modify, and whatever model, I can usually finds pages of TSB's(a non-recalled problem) and the occational recall.

Anyone who wants a perfect car, can feel free to build their own, lol.

All cars after about, ohh, 1988 or so, have electric fuel pumps. And many cars, if you run them out of gas once, the pump dies shortly after.

  • @lander4545 The ford truck I drive for work has been through over 5 fuel pumps, lol. Everyone I know with a certain range of year GM truck has the full pump fail at about 80k, like clockwork.

Leaking brakes are an issue, depending on the severity of the leak. But, any competent driver should be able to detect that in the pedal feel.

I've had plenty of brake failures, you fix them, then move on. Its not difficult.

Either way, that recall, so far, is completely irrelevant to the video.

  • @l337pwnage "Irrelevant to the video?" Then why are you mentioning Ford and G.M.? Toyota created there own problems by lying, hiding evidence and in some cases taking 12 years to issue a recall on defects that there subpoenaed documents proved they knew about ! Dude, you cannot keep defending the indefensible!

  • @lander4545 lol, well don't buy a Toyota and I guess you will never have anything to worry about. I was just pointing out that every brand has recalls/defects, but people have such ADD that they can only remember whatever they saw on the 6pm news.

I also find it funny that retards who probably don't even know where their spare tire is, or if it has any air in it, think that they have any qualifications to judge a car company.

  • @l337pwnage

your clueless about cars. And it isn't normal for any brake system to be leaking. you are just as bad as the people that don't know where their spare tire is located on a vehicle

  • @l337pwnage

    Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @pokerguy17 asphinctersayswhat?

  • @l337pwnage

Again obvious troll is obvious :)

  • @pokerguy17 trollin's easy when ur right. :)

  • @stopindecentvidremov Today Toyota announced the recall of 1.13 million Corolla and Matrix vehicles sold in North America for engine problems. How are you going to explain this to all of those customers you sold used Corolla's to???? :) Are you starting to see where I'm coming from yet?? Toyota's are junk, but so many fools like yourself bought into there propaganda lies!! :)

  • @lander4545 hey man fuck you it is the floor mats i hate all the people that give shit about toyota when it is not even their problem

  • @rres2 From the hills of Kentucky?? Toyota has already admitted mechanical failure with there accelerator pedals that WILL cause sudden acceleration! Now go argue with them! ;)

  • @lander4545

wow, engineer. that means stopindecent knows more than you because he never went to college.

  • @taledarkside I think we tend to forget that car salesmen (stopindecentvidremov) are paid to lie, cheat and steal! What this guy says is about as vaild as a popcorn fart!

  • @lander4545 You are apparently paid to have a thick head.

  • @stopindecentvidremov Sure am! A "Thick head" FULL of knowledge! A FULL six figures worth! Maybe someday you can work for me? I'll train you to be somebody!

  • @taledarkside College is the biggest waste of money, almost more of a waste of money than purchasing a ford.

  • @stopindecentvidremov

Yup, I gonna tell the doctors and engineers that college is a waste of money

  • @taledarkside Anyone as moronically inclined to defend the indefensible as stopindecentvidremov is of Toyota must be of Oriental descent! There is no other explanation for his immature obsurdity!

  • @lander4545

He might be one of those white trash conspiracy theorist with an IQ of 50. The kind that thinks the government is after them, but they still live in the US

  • @stopindecentvidremov Here's the bottom line. Toyota is fucked! Nobody trust them anymore! The only ones sticking up for them are fools like yourself who have invested so much in promoting the Toyota name to family and friends only to find out that they were shoving up your ass the whole time! Just admit you were wrong and you'll sleep better!

  • @lander4545 Really? Then how come every day I have people buying Toyotas from me? Why is it that when I have a low mileage Camry on my lot it sells before I can even get it through detail? Why is it that I cant keep Corollas in stock? Because people know this whole thing was bull shit and the vehicles are good.

  • @stopindecentvidremov They're buying the Toyotas because the resale prices are down and many of these sales are to people that are totally oblivious to any of Toyota's problems! The Toyota lie hasn't hit these folks "up side" there heads yet!

  • @lander4545 Actually, if anything prices have gone up in the last 6 months.

  • @stopindecentvidremov Prices will go up on vehicles that sit on your lot to long due to "carrying costs and overhead"! You can either absorb these costs or pass them on to the consumer! Either way the consumer will pay in the end!

  • @lander4545 No Toyota has ever "sat" on my lot. lol

  • @lander4545 Also, I dont reallyhave any overhead, and there isnt a "carrying cost" whatever the fuck your talking about.

  • @stopindecentvidremov

I'd rather spend 80,000 dollar european car than buy a POS toyota. People also blew their money to buy furbies, tickle me elmo, and the purple teletubby.

Just means people are stupid and they are willing to buy cheap. You hear the saying "i earn my money, i spend it like I want" They would give it to a drug dealer if he sold them a cheap car.

  • @taledarkside Id rather have an 80 thousand dollar euro car as well. Who are you arguing with? Bottom line is I cant even stock american cars anymore. They NEVER sell!

  • Bottom line is Toyota is just a better value than any American car. I buy cars at dozens of different auctions every week. Its shocking to see how badly Gm Ford and Chrysler cars depreciate. Even the late model ones I see are already falling apart, and you can clearly see the majority of them are going to present problems. You cant find even an off lease Chrysler that doesnt have a front end clunk, the GM cars interiors do not hold up, and I just dont even consider fords at this point.

  • @stopindecentvidremov

comparing other cars again. didn't know the topic wasn't toyota

  • @taledarkside Define unreliable please.

  • @stopindecentvidremov Dude you are such a pathological liar! Are you a chameleon or what? How many times are you going to morph yourself into another identity just to make a mute point because you have Toyota stuck on the brain?!?!?

  • @lander4545

did you get carquestions fired, I havn't seen the shadetree mechanic lately.

  • I just had a lady trade in a bmw 528i with a persian rug as a floor mat. The thing covered both of the pedals. She said she had no idea it could cause a problem!

  • @stopindecentvidremov

Did you tell her, it only causes a problem, if you drive a POS 10,000 dollar car?

  • @taledarkside She actually told me her car was accelerating after she let go of the gas pedal. Thats why she traded it in!

  • i don't understand why these people in there run away cars just go to neutral? then the car would stop accelerating but would ruin the motor but whocares cause it would save your life, and they could try the e break.. so sad to hear about someone dying due to this how scary could that be!
