I couldn't help but notice: This video posted to YouTube on OCT. 27, 2007, which is unrelated to 19212-057. I found interesting background info on the Five Royales at the site rockabilly(.)nl in a story penned by STEVE WALKER, which is unrelated to "time rollback" to the elementary school 1980s. But memories from outside of Winston-Salem, NC's Brunson Elementary (@ 155 HAWthorne Rd) at a bus stop in the early 1990s leads back to the Five Royales. 42nd prez Bill Clinton stopped there in 1992, too
Recently inducted into the NC Music Hall of Fame. I am doing a special for Black History Month. I will be interviewing the lead singer's son again and I have a wonderful interview with is wife. They are all gone now but shall live in our hears forever!
The Lead singer Lowman Pauling would let his guitar fall down to his knees and play. He did all the crazy guitar moves long before Jimmy Hendrix was around, Jimmy copied Lowman. Wish they were still around, they are all dead but not forgotten as they left their mark in history. If you want to see more about them - visit the NC Music Hall of Fame Museum in Kannapolis NC or visit northcarolinamusichalloffame
