Dodge of Burnsville in Burnsville, MN has one for sale for $36,950, sticker is $38,950. It's an automatic, #460 of 500. I've been told you get the hood pins, a car cover and a plaque with your name on it once you buy it. The hood scoop is functional with cold air intake.

@shnawky I didn't say anything about the backseat, but I get your point. The hood scoop has holes in it, ok. Then why isn't there an intake system built for it? The cold air intake on the driver's side doesn't really count. The purpose of hood scoops is to have ram-air induction, doesn't do much good if that air coming through is just flowing over the engine cover. Congrats on your purchase. I would rather they built a Vanishing Point R/T with a wood pistol grip and solid white paint no stripe
what they should of done was install the new 440 hemi engine witch puts down 630 HP and 600 lbs of torque.and give it the same 38,000 or 33,000 price tag.? these 500 unit cars would be gone in an hour or less...umma wait for the 2011 Challenger with the 6.4L better off
Wow, I expected a Viper V10 engine instead. Why not at least carbon fiber hood (if not more panels), light-weight magnesium rims, a more aggressive tune, something to make it stand out?
They might be retiring the V10 with the viper, so it would take longer to release them. I dont even think they sell 500 vipers per year, so to build that many v10 viper engines would take more time, and cost allot more for the customer , possibly putting it out of reach for many people who will be buying this.
No performance? How about something functional? Like a painted carbon fiber hood to go with those pins? What about lightweight wheels? Someone with $15 and a few hours can do the same to those wheels.
The only reason there not using the 6.1 Hemi is because its being replaced with the 6.4 next year.............. as far as it not having the v10 is probably because this one will cost around $33,000- $37,000
So lets put some stickers on it, and paint the ugly wheels we already offer, black; lets change the color of the stitching, and embroider a logo into it. Don't bother taking any weight out of the ocean liner, or at least putting some decent brakes on it to stop it, or any performance mods to move the beast. But how about some unnecessary hood pins, to go along with your fuel door that DOESN'T LOCK. Nice "T shift handle" for your automatic too, and faux CF for the pistol grip. makes me sick
If I saw correctly, it wasn't even off of the SRT8, It's using the 5.7l hemi and not the 6.1l monster. So all your getting is some different graphic, enterior, hood, wheels on a RT platform. I was expecting at least a hopped up version of the 6.1 with a functional air grabber hood. :(

Those deriding a special edition of the car don't get That these cars will be trading hands for decades as collectibles. This only raises the profile and cultivates a legend for the car and the company. Naturally I would like there to be more to this car than some cosmetic changes, but this is no different that Ford cranking out a new special edition of the Mustang every year or two. BTW, I found that Dodge is working on a Challenger SRT-10. Just so you all know.
@mwoolaver Mopar did create a Viper-powered version of the new Challenger as a show car. Perhaps someone might be inspired to create their own version? Since a few people have already installed Viper engines in vintage Challengers, doing the same with a current Challenger would seem the thing to do.

@grasscat1977 Last year, Dodge created a stripped model in addition to the 1320 concept car. It was called the Dodge Challenger Drag Race Package Car. However, only 100 examples were built, and they are, presumably, sold out by now.
