@imdoubtful it would have probably been better for you if AC/DC had stopped playing 31 years ago . Bon Scott is great. but unfortunately hes not around anymore. if brian johnson is good enough for angus malcolm phil and even bon said before he died he liked him too . then hes good enough for me. Bon will never come back and its a shame. but in them years he was at the top he had a great time. betetr than most people , so comfort yourself with that. amen

OK.. one of the best.. I think: the most of us wish this time back.. livin free and easy and not so fast an full of desaster... and without big brother and that high preasure at work.. thanks for that time BON SCOTT
@minotaur1231 It came out on the Australian debut album "High Voltage" from 1975 - Side Two, track No. 3 - written by Angus and Malcome Young with Bon Scot.
If I remember it right the actually was a love story behind it, somthing about Angus making a song for his girlfriend at the time, but i'm not 100% about that...
bon is way better than brian. all bons songs are classics. brian only has a few good songs and his versions of bons songs are awful he should stick to singing his songs because when he sings bons songs he makes acdc sound like a shitty pub band. its a long way to the cross if you want to fuck a mole
@TheAngusJunior Minden nap eszembe jut BON SCOTT, ha zenét hallgatok és minden nap hallgatok zenét, főleg az AC/DC - t. Így BON is tovább él örökké bennem.
i think you guys should just stop arguing entirely. before bon died he saw brian johnson and realized that brian was good. and brian has a tremendous amount of respect for bon. both bon and brian are awesome! RIDE ON AC/DC
bums1955, you are spot on in everything you say! It really pisses me off when anybody tries to say Bon isn't superior to Brian in every way. Can't even be compared to Bon
all you brian fans should really do some research , like crazysanor , you are a clueless fuckin clown , ian jeffert took bons lyric books from his london flat just days after he died , ian was quoted saying lyrics in these booked ended up on bib , anna baba bons girlfriend at the time was also quoted say bon was writing lyrics for the new album & to top it off for all you brian fans , x-mas 1979 bon went to see his parents and told them he had already started writing lyrics for the new album !
brian has been living off of what bon created for the past 30 years , brian steped into a band that was already huge that would of been bigger with bon , all you people that say brian took them to the next level , you are fuckin stupid , they were on there way there with bon regardless , any true acdc fan knows bon was better , and by the way google ian jeffrey acdc , he claims to have bons lyric books that were taken from him london flat , that he says contain lyrics that ended up on bib
Syze 1 , these brian fans make me laugh , dont understand them , how can anyone with 2 ears say brian belongs on the same level as bon , its laughable , what a joke !
Being a bad boy aint that bad , i had me more dirty women then most men ever had , i just line em up and i knock em down , and they a came runnin when the word got around , i said up , they said down , they said straight , i said round , they said lost , i said found , i do the bad boy boogie all over town , lyrical fuckin genius bon was !!!!!
With all due respect to brian and his fans , please dont try to compare brian to bon , to do so is laughable , every bon era album was a killer , if you want blood live in glasgow in 1978 will blow your fuckin nuts off , i respect brian for filling in for bon , but he is not bon , never was and never will be , bon scott is an absolute legend and rock god , replacing bon would be like replacing robert plant with led zepp , it cant fuckin be done , end of story , just deal with it & move one !!!
Hey camaradas...take it easy...i understand u;no more fights,plaese...everyone of us have a different idea of this greatest band;i love this band since i was a child too;and i acept so than AC/DC whithout BON SCOT,is not the same, but,Brian is a good singer too, that's the period than him is living till today. After all,AC/DC,the best band of all the times...wooooo....Greetings from Tijuana,Mexico.
I've seen thousands of videos on youtbue but this is my favourite without a doubt. Sure, it has misspelled namesand wrong dates, but all artists are soo great, especially bon! and the song is one of their best and definitly the most underrated song ever!
They wouldn't have written the P.O.S called "Black Ice", that's for damn sure. Bon wouldn't have allowed nonsense lyrics to be associated with HIS voice.
that p.o.s went #1 in 29 countries when it was released and black ice is one of the biggest albums of 2008/9 and its the biggest concert of 2009..bons dead, that era is over and now they are bigger than ever fool
Whatever, man. The fact is that Malcolm and Angus basically scribbled down random shit and put it to music. There was nothing there with a killer arrangement like "Hells Bells", or humorous like "She's Got Balls" and "Caught With Your Pants Down". There's no stories like "Ballbreaker" or "Whole Lotta Rosie". The songs on "Black Ice" are about nothing in particular. It seems to me that they spent 8 years on the music and five minutes on lyrics. Brian was supposed to be the lyricist, anyway.
bitch bitch bitch what do you want they have almost 20 albums u want 20 back in blacks just be glad they still rock it out cause most of this new shit u hear aint gonna be around in 30 years
Of course I don't want to hear a "Back In Black 2" or anything close to the old stuff. My point was that there's no words on "Black Ice" that makes sense. As I said before, Brian was supposed to do the lyrics for the album, and they blackballed him yet again. Sure, the 3 albums before it had some great lyrics, but "Black Ice" freefalls in this area. I give them credit for the music, which sounds great, especially "Stormy May Day" 's use of slide guitar, which I don't think they've done before.
yeah and stormy may day has some historical meaning i'm not quite sure what it means i'll have to google it but its some war reference like "night of the long knives" and anything goes and big jack have your stories..read the lyrics they are funny as hell. i love money made its the workin mans song
Ok, I see ya. "Stormy May Day" is actually the only song that didn't sound like total gibberish. I didn't care for "Big Jack", though. It just sounded like they tried to create a band mascot or something, wasn't interesting. I haven't actually listened to the album in a while, but if I remember right, "Anything Goes" and " Money Made" I hated because of the repeating choruses. I really tried to love the album, I really did, but it just didn't meet the same standard I am used to from AC/DC.
yeah it took some time for me to like it but pop it in and keep listning it will grow on you trust me. ballbreaker is still my fav though more so than back in black
"Ballbreaker" IS great, first I bought for myself when I was 12, so it's got a soft spot for me. A lot of people slam it for its dry production, but it never bothered me much. I think the style Rick Rubin produced it worked. They're a no-frills band, anyway, so why should the production be, right? I get what "Big Jack" is about, but I always hear it and think "They've done better than this, haven't they?" Bon's "Big Balls" is my personal standard for double entendre-type songs, AC/DC-wise.
Bang on mate. You know the problem with Black Ice?.....it's safe...too safe. It's basic AC/DC but with no real killer song. There's no Riff Raff, Touch too much, Problem Child etc..it's all too safe.
Thank you! It's about time I hear from an intelligent person on this issue! It seems that every AC/DC fan who supposedly loves this album is just on this euphoric high over it because it's been so long since they'd released new material. It doesn't mean it's good. The other thing I would like to see the band do is get rid of the sanitized production they used for this album and go back to the dirty, gritty days that really fueled those early songs.
In Bon's day they toured 200 days a year..maybe more. They do one tour every decade, fill it with fat lady inflatables, 21 cannnons, a bell and a fuckin' train and now it's a not a rock n roll gig it's a self indulgent "we're well past our best" visual extravaganza. Newbie AC/DC fans who think AC/DC started with Back in Black can go suck my starboard testicle.
To be fair though, I grew up as a little kid knowing of Brian as frontman. I found out about Bon not long after because my uncle, who passed away about five months ago, told me about him. That's why I don't take sides on the "Who's better?" argument.........I like what both guys brought to the band; Bon was a great poet, while Brian had that great stage presence. I'm also not gonna bag on the inflatable Rosie; I got the "AC/DC Live" album when I was 11, and I thought that was hilarious.
You will find that 90% of ac/dc fans think the Bon Scott era was ac/dc's best period. Do some research or you will look like the fool. No hurt intended.
i could care less what you say or others say new ac/dc and i mean the razors edge forward sounds awesome to me so i guess 90% can think what they want but ac/dc's best period was after he died they only got bigger and bigger do some research or you will look like a fool
Oh poor baby. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I did say no hurt intended but your so soft you got hurt anyway. Dont cry now. They did get bigger after Bon died, but they would still be there with out Brian. Bon was a much better front man and knew how to play to the cameras and the crowd way better than Brian. But then you dont care what I think. Hell yes you do or you would not have written back like you did girlfriend. You made yourself THE FOOL with your comment. Hats off to the fool king!
AC/DC haven't got bigger you fool, they've just got rarer! One UK tour in 10years or summat stupid will make any band look bigger. Anyone who knows and understands AC/DC accpets that Bon is the real deal and the the Bon years are the best
You've got a great talent there which if you're not exploiting already you should. Your eye and ear go together very well and you should do well for yourself. Cinematography maybe, or direction? I disagreee with your inclusion of vicious but otherwise absolute A1.
Where did you se him?, He came here like around 77 or 78 to Seattle WA but of course I was not born then so I did not see him, I ish I could of though I miss him.
I saw ACDC back around 78 in South Bend IN. at the Morris Civic Autitorium. The crazy thing is they were the onpening band. Probablly because they were not that well known around here yet.Needless to say ,they totally blew away the other bands.[Head East and UFO] . After that show, Bon and the boys had became my favorite band,
To the people who say this isnt ACDC just listen to the song, its obvious that it is Bon singing, and it is obvious to any true ACDC fan that this is Angus and Malcolm
Pisture This.>>>>Bulli Pub,,, Hayseed Dixie,,, DeaconDale Reno,,, asks me if I can carry him on my shoulders,,,as Angus did with Bon,,, and we do the whole thing,,, Dale on my shoulders Picking the Mandolin,,, It was PRICELESS,,,The greatest moment of my life.
I saw Rush in 1979 at Freedom Hall in Johnson City, in Tennessee and there was this little known opening act that I really wanted to see called AC/DC. They had a new song on the radio that blew me away called Let There Be Rock and I had to see them. The ticket price was $5.00....I'll never forget it, I just wish I knew then that I was watching who would one day be regarded as the world's greatest front man and that he wouldn't live much longer. He died within months of that night.

The other thing I would like to see the band do is get rid of the sanitized production they used for this album and go back to the dirty, gritty days that really fueled those early songs.
uofm97 2 years ago

No hurt intended.
wahcat 2 years ago 4
i could care less what you say or others say new ac/dc and i mean the razors edge forward sounds awesome to me so i guess 90% can think what they want but ac/dc's best period was after he died they only got bigger and bigger do some research or you will look like a fool
crazysanor 2 years ago
Oh poor baby. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I did say no hurt intended but your so soft you got hurt anyway. Dont cry now. They did get bigger after Bon died, but they would still be there with out Brian. Bon was a much better front man and knew how to play to the cameras and the crowd way better than Brian. But then you dont care what I think. Hell yes you do or you would not have written back like you did girlfriend. You made yourself THE FOOL with your comment. Hats off to the fool king!
wahcat 2 years ago
AC/DC haven't got bigger you fool, they've just got rarer! One UK tour in 10years or summat stupid will make any band look bigger. Anyone who knows and understands AC/DC accpets that Bon is the real deal and the the Bon years are the best

You've got a great talent there which if you're not exploiting already you should. Your eye and ear go together very well and you should do well for yourself. Cinematography maybe, or direction? I disagreee with your inclusion of vicious but otherwise absolute A1.

Que imagenes más bonitas de Bon Scott, bello video.

To the people who say this isnt ACDC just listen to the song, its obvious that it is Bon singing, and it is obvious to any true ACDC fan that this is Angus and Malcolm
