Hi there, for what's it's worth, this was my personal favourite. I think it's everything a music video should be: easy on the eye, it fits the rhythm and mood of the song well and I love the use of the autumn colours: one of the few videos to really capatilise on this time of year. It really has the look and feel of a professional music video.

You also used Death in your video too, don't worry, we're not Satriani and we won't sue! :-)

thanks! when you upload your video, just make sure it is high quality. youtube will automatically add the high quality version. i've noticed it takes a while though... it took about a day or two. if it doesnt, it MIGHT have something to do with your account type. mine is a director account.

Yeah, I think the structure is a little similar to The Scientist, but the meaning is totally unique . . . kind of like the song itself.

I have never seen the Scientist music video until just now. I am watching it for the first time. And, although the structure does seem similar, you can't say that I had influence from the video. But I do agree. Except, most of the shots in The Scientist video are very fluent and seem to be filmed using a dolly or steady cam whereas I wanted a more rough feel.

no. i stick with the adobe suite. most of the color editing was done with curves and levels.

We made it for you to decide. But, in my opinion, I feel like the people are guiding the main character down the road to death. The frames represent emptiness in life. And, the hooded man represents death, and holds the mirror up to the main character so he can see his true self. The character ran from death and all his friends, but in the end, came to terms and accepted his death. Long explanation but take it as you want. Haha
