The other guys must have been freaking! I will say they continued the song and proved they are amazing as the song sounded almost the same without Chris singing or playing keyboards. This is the mark of top level musicians. I'm 50 and love this band. My daughter got me on to Coldplay years ago and I've enjoyed their music ever since.
