  • UW- imported richy white snob and yuppie kids of reptilians. WE LOCALS don't like you. You turn our rivers to plastic and beer...not to mention all the pills you kids smoke and take- U are POLLUTION to us.

  • For those of you who are right-wing and post on this video, if you think these students are radicals, and you don't like them, then why did you watch the video?

For the record, I believe in what these students are doing, and I agree with them in what they are doing.

  • Why are they all so upset about what the Republicans are doing or trying to do? THEY VOTED FOR THEM! For my entire life my husband and I have voted against our own best interests. We are upper middle class, college educated people, and we ALWAYS vote for candidates who try to help the poor, the elderly, children, veterans, etc... Then these same folks turn around and vote Republican and cry when they get hurt. I give up.

  • Unions are scum to American taxpayers. Unions keep America from prosperity by waste and fraud. Americans are done giving these freeloaders a ride on our backs. Democrat "extremists" are losing all credibility with their embrace of Socialism in our republic. It is time for people to stop these political radical extreme democrats from running from the process of governing for the people and stop the propaganda through the lamestream media. Americans are not fooled by these scams. 2012 Revolution!

  • Wisconsin just needs to seriously raise its taxes. Double sales taxes/income taxes. Double DMV fees, start taxing groceries. Walker should leave the unions alone, and fix the deficit by having Wisconsin residents pay what they should in taxes. Wisconsin should mirror Illinois.

  • Yesterday soft and cuddly government program is today’s financial chainsaw massacre. American people must demand a return to fiscal sanity, the Marxist/Socialist social justice movement is destroying the culture, economy and The 111th Congress, barely two weeks into the Obama era, it enacted an $800 billion stimulus bill, the largest in American history.

  • The NYT article by Peter Suderman | March 7, 2011

Presents the two stories of the rising cost of health care—costs are rising because of government mandates, and costs are rising because of growing demand for expensive care. But they don’t have to be. “Many Americans have to switch plans, pay higher premiums have fewer choices than before. Many Americans have to wait three more years for the supposed benefits of the law to kick in while taxpayers and Medicare patients are paying the bill now

  • @hellotommy ~ ah "peter suderman", a conservative writer, you can find his hackery all over conservative media, the national review and wsj for instance. not to mention your quote doesn't give the cause other than it's the usual price gouging and care denying private care racketry. what's changed? there are no mandates, you're creating nonsense out of thin air!

and they were both bail outs. duh, bush and the repubs voted for both. anything else i should correct you with?

  • @tomitstube If there are no mandates there is no Obamacare.

    Your dishonesty displeases me...

Why don't they just 'mandate' us to live on plantations, eat root vegetables, spend half the year on building government places, thus meeting Michael 'Powergams' Obama's body fat index?

Democrats. The New Improved Healthier Plantation Masters.

( i think i'll now go mandate the wife around ....) and 1000 waivers from Obama, who gets a waiver? I want one! Total unconstitutional thuggery!

  • @hellotommy ~ there is no mandate in the health bill. or should i say, there is no punishable offense for not buying in.

if you're so angry about "mandates", take it up with your local corporate republican who forces you to insure your car or house mortgage.

it isn't my "dishonesty that displeases you". it's your inability to argue with someone who uses facts against your mindless anti-liberal hysteria and nonsense. like "obama care", and "government death panels".

  • hellotommy is a government disinformation agent.

  • @ICantDecryptTheCode It’s the idea, held by many conservative activists, that America is becoming too European—weak, feckless and faithless – a spendthrift nation in hock to China and led by an irresolute president who is accelerating the process, either by design or effect.

This will accurately be the debate in the 2012 presidential election. Conservatives see the country in decline and see the president as managing this decline, he is not doing enough, and he may even be content with it.

  • Walker’s Bill give average Americans; Leverage over Government (less money to gov. more for workers), control over Inflated Government Pay (just Cadillac Benefits, not Rolls Royce benefits), Forced Union Dues on workers (28 non-right-to-work states, force employees to pay union dues or get fired, Politicized Civil Service (Government unions were the top political spenders).Factual info courtesy of the Astro-Turf movement (we call it astro-turf) right Nancy Pelosi? YES!

  • @hellotommy ~ all nonsense. this is nothing but a corporate power grab to strip workers of their civil rights.

calling benefits for teachers "entitlements" is propaganda. they earned these benefits and they pay for them. and they make less than their private counterparts already. scott walker has done nothing but lie about the facts and his hidden agenda.

you've been duped into believing that tearing down contemporaries will somehow make your life better. you are a fool.

  • @tomitstube Teachers make more than most people and they work half the year, they will have choices to pick from regarding bennys. INEFFICIENCY IS UNNECESSARY! Why do you need to pay dues to union leaders to bribe democrats to pay up? Thats waste, werever you find wasted taxpayer money you will find liberals.

  • @hellotommy ~ public teachers make less than their private counterparts. can you at least compare apples to apples?

again, you just argue with propaganda. why? the public sector offers a cheaper service with quality efficiency. you privatize schools, fire fighters, police, etc., and it becomes the tangled overpriced inefficiency we have with health care. something that costs twice as much and only the well off can afford.

and even walker recognizes reagan's roll in union busting.

  • @tomitstube That entitlement mentality is exactly what this is about. Try becoming what you are, don't look to others for stuff. Walker’s proposal restricts government unions from protecting the job of failing teachers. Union workers now choose not to pay union dues. A union is only “busted” if its members are forced to quit the union. Giving employees the choice to pay or not pay dues is hardly union busting. Wi unions still have more negotiating power than even federal employee unions.

  • @hellotommy What about the entitlement mentality of the CEOs heading the major banks? Didnt' they receive a $700 billion dollar bailout for wrecking our economy? And what did they do with part of the bailout money? Tha't's right they gave themselves bonuses! How come the state governments claim they're broke and meanwhile the federal government gave all this welfare money to these corporations? The unions did not create this economic mess. Only 8% of Americans are unionized.

  • @USASecretHistory Yes, your retarded anti-leader Obama took taxpayer money and gave it to bankers so they could stay rich. Are you saying only republicans give to the rich?!? So, so naive...Richard Trumpka is in touch with the Whitehoue everyday trying to figure out how to keep your dues! Are you to afraid of freedom so much to make your own choices? The union leadership must now earn your membership because the fences are down. workers have power over the union now.

  • @hellotommy Actually wasn't the TARP (Toxic Asset Relief Program) begun under the Bush admnistration? Obama didn't have any part in setting up this program. The two party system has been hijacked by big business. Big business pretty much dictates what it wants to the government. Lobbyists are the ones who draft most of the legislation. People like you and me have no say. Unions have no say. Unions helped create the middle class after WW II. 33% of Americans were unionized then. Now it's 8%.

  • @USASecretHistory TARP signed into law by U.S. by Bush on October 3, 2008 to address the subprime mortgage crisis. You know, the housing crisis started by dems giving mortgages to deabeats without proof of income... othewise know as the current recession. The mortgage crisis was the fuse that lit the recession. Like I said the Bush/Obama big government policies have failed America. Big business doesn't control anything, it's a tax ajustment away from fixed. Big Gov. is dangerous.

  • @hellotommy Democrats don't give mortgages. The subprime mortgage mess was begun by the banks. Big business doesn't control anything? Are you kidding me? Goldman Sachs doesn't control anything? Neither does JP Morgan, right? Bank of America? Why do you think Citibank was recently bailed out by the government? Wasn't their former Robert Rubin, Clinton's former Sec. of Treasury? Didn't he make something like $250 million a year? For what? For running this bank almost out of business.

  • @USASecretHistory Clinton enforced the fair housing laws, Fannie & Freddie bought up one bad loan after another - it was touted as a great success of the Clinton adm; disproportionate growth in minority home ownership, (Great Housing Boom of the 90s). Dodd, Frank, Waxman deregulated financial derivatives (CDR) enabling AIG, Countywide etc. Bush let them; Subprime mortgages detonated the financial meltdown. The republican congress was called "The Do Nothing Congress" remember?

  • @USASecretHistory credit default swaps (CDSs) DEREGULATION by The Chair & members of the Senate Banking Committee enabled Financials like Countrywide to corrupt with progs like "FOA". A crisis driven by reckless, careless, unscrupulous actors in the mortgage lending ind. AIG misrepresenting underwriting standards of loans creating the massive number of defaults in mortgage loans. Add House Chair Barney objecting to tighter regulation of Fannie & Freddie, GOV intrusion. CRA was the fuse.

  • @USASecretHistory Countyrwide alone wrote hundreds of thousands of subprime mortgages dooming what I believe are innocent customers with loans that begin with low interest rates then balloon into unaffordable notes - was the detonator that triggered the financial meltdown. Everybody bloated up on other people’s money in the banking and loan world thanks to both parties of Government. Then what? Bailout! With tax dollars! gov. must balance the books for a while, stop funding corruption w/tax$.

  • @USASecretHistory Well intentioned at the outset, CRA was hijacked by the political Left & driven to this place & time by the unscrupulous with no regard for the consequences. In 1977 banking was heavily regulated. CRA required banks to report compliance. These requirements drastically changed in 1995 under Clinton’s adm. The National Community Reinvestment Coalition a foundation-funded umbrella group for community activist groups that profit from CRA has strong influence on a bank’s CRA rating.

  • @USASecretHistory I agree speculation buying a major body of crisis. But activists like ACORN controlled who got CRA mandated loans. Banks paid them not to follow up on threats of costly, frivolous complaints. The numbers are staggering & the impact cannot be overestimated! Husock reports in 2000, 760 mill commitment from Bank of NY, First Union 13 bil, etc. “CRA is the backbone of everything we do.” said Tom Callahan exec dir of the Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance.

  • @USASecretHistory I explain the Mortgage crisis is the strart of the recession. Read it and weep...

  • @hellotommy Excuse me we don't work half a year. Many of us work during 9 months out of the year. However we take our work home with us. We do lesson planning, respond to parent inquiries, hold conferences with parents, grade papers, and so on. I always work on weekends. I grade papers and do lesson planning on weekends. I take my work with me when I eat at restaurants. I am always reading. We didn't get this job just sitting on our asses. We had to get degrees. Don't disrespect our profession.

  • @tomitstube We need to restore America’s greatness! We must return to the founding principles and the thing America did to become great, which is --- a stronger alliance on the private sector, a freer economy, less reliance on the Government. Let’s face the truth the Obama/Bush methods have not worked, its time for drastic changes and control to be in the hands of the American people.

  • @hellotommy ~ america will return to it's greatness when it rejects the conservatives principles of the last 30 years starting with the reagan presidency. until americans wake up to that realization, she will continue to decline.

hopefully wisconisin is just the beginning.

scott walker and all the fascist right wing tea party governors must be recalled and impeached from office.

  • @tomitstube Democrat plan? lol... What, to steal more taxpayer money like the failed 800 billion dollar stimulus that created 0 jobs; all that money stolen by Democrats. Or maybe your talking about the Socialist takeover of our healthcare industry that's already seeing increases in premiums & serious Medicare 'cuts' that will hurt seniors. Or "Death Panels"? because rationing is how they save money. If your willing to give your mind and body to the Socialist party fine, I fight for freedom.

  • @hellotommy ~ it's amazing how little you have in common with facts.

    1) george bush signed the 1st bail out. mccain, palin and republicans all voted for it.

    2) most of the health care bill doesn't kick in until 2014, so those premium rate increases are just more gouging by america's failed private health care system.

    3) government death panels are a myth, except where republican governors are literally cutting people from life saving benefits.

  • @tomitstube Total BS! Stop pretending to be above the facts. TARP was Bush, Stimulus was Obama. As the one year anniversary of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act nears, The NY Times notices that health insurance premiums still haven’t gone down. Just the opposite, in fact: costs are rising because of government mandates, & costs are rising because of growing demand for expensive care (they anticipate cost when the mandate kicks in and it contues to raise premiums). Bush/Obama failed

  • Truth about Collective Bargaining

Legal Monopoly: Government collective bargaining gives unions a monopoly on the government’s workforce. The government must employ workers on the terms the union negotiates. It may not hire competing workers. ( private sector. Private-sector unions bargain over limited profits.) not an endless stream of taxp[ayer money. When government unions strike, they can deprive citizens of essential services such as education for children until demands are met.

  • @hellotommy ~ what a load. this is nothing but a power grab by robber barons to crush workers rights.

it's been going on since the 80's and ronald reagan. that's why this country is turning in to a shit hole.

Giving employees the choice to pay or not expensive dues is hardly union busting. Wi unions still have more negotiating power than even federal employee unions.

  • Union membership peaked in the private sector in the 1950s. Unions came to see government employees as valuable new dues-paying members. Some states, like VA and NC, still do not negotiate public spending with government unions. 52% of union members in the U.S. now work for a government. It has ZERO to do with REAGAN! Are you stuck on stupid or a Communist? I'd like to know why giving union workers a choice is so terrible Fill me in Genius... I’m all ears.

  • We’ve had it with the AFL-CIO/SEIU/NEA mafia. Their greedy sense of entitlement is part and parcel to the economic downfall of this country. Americans (both working class and wealthy) are sick and tired of the socialist kleptocracy. ReBirth America without these freaks & leeches sucking our childrens' childrens' blood.... Can the tree of liberty be fertilized with the corpse of socialism? Lets find out!!! I'll be in the streets when the lefties are.

See you in the town square, commies

  • Gov. Walker has been offering deals to the deviant leftists and they will not bend. This is proof that the left has an all or nothing approach to the negotiating. As far as I'm concerned I would fire every last one of these communists.

So far it seems the only ones NOT willing to make any concessions are the union bosses. The union members have accepted them but the union itself won't give up it's control or reduce it's income. Get rid of the unions so there will be more for the workers.

  • Now the greedy have ended their selfish protesting & their political leaders still hide from their duties. These cowards will all pay a price for their subordination. There will be investigations. The teachers have effectively sealed their fate in WI with 1500 pink slips (to start) for turning on our School children. The damage done to the Wi capitol will cost $7.5 million for cleanup & repair... that's $7,500,000 that could have gone to education. Wherever you find waste you find liberals.

  • @hellotommy ~ "$7.5 million in cleanup and repair" (for the wisconsin capital)? lmao! what planet do you come from? maybe that's the cost of walkers private security force keeping people out of a public building. idiot.

  • @tomitstube The monetary figures are from the Department of Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch who said the original $7.5 million estimate to repair damaged marble could be scaled down to $350,000 would cover a crew to perform "very limited“ restoration on marble as well as landscape restoration.

Don't blame me, the media reported it I used a source DOA straight from the horses mouth, they seemed to have back-peddled from the original cost. Try looking it up, you'll see I’m honest.

  • @hellotommy ~ 7.5 million to 350,000? just a little inflated on their estimate don't you think? i'll bet the "marble" is fine, and repairs aren't really needed. i would also suggest only a private firm could come up with such ridiculously inflated costs.

  • ok,,ok,,,ITS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS,,, watch?v=-dGHFmKjIeI

  • "..., love in your hearts; leave the signs and the sticks out here ..."

You've got to be kidding. If this is an example of WI education under unionized teachers, Lord have mercy.

  • Is it just me or are our kids getting less educated in Universities? If the UW is a special ED school I apologize.

  • Check out the awesome NYC rally this past Saturday! Search youtube:

    "NYC Rally Wisconsin Solidarity 2.26.11"

  • I love my fellow Wisconsinites! Forward Wisconsin!!!

  • thanks to the republican trash in this state that elected this faggot to begin with

  • @wh1ppy Yes the majority has elected someone who really wants to correct the last failed leader ship by the democrats.Majority has spoken! The republicans were elected to cleanup the mess left behind liberal socialist progressive idiots who shown no responsibility to the people who the selected them, including the 14 cowards who left the state. If you want call someone trash, select the correct garbage can, ok? Which is liberals, and unions who have been hijacked by the left, socialist groups.

  • UAW = United Against Work

  • check out my new Youtube song - YOU CAN KISS MY UNION BUTT

  • Love in your hearts??? The only love these ppl have is for more money....greedy SOB's.....they dont care if the whole country is going under...they just want more benefits and they dont care who it hurts....America has finally awaken to see how the unions and the greed are killing this country economically......GO WALKER GO!!!!!!

  • HURRAH THE BILL PASSED!!!!!!! LONG LIVE CONSERVATIVE THINKING AND VALUES..... GOD BLESS AMERICA, SCREW THE UNIONS. HAHAHAHA!

  • We must unite to kill the corporate tax cuts for the 2% richest people if they don't create jobs in the United States.

  • It does my heart good to see the students - who will be our future leaders in this country - taking up the cause of decent people, by engaging in peaceful protest for all!

The message is clear - the people will not be denied their rights to union membership, or the right to collective bargaining! Fight On Wisconsin!

  • @MegaJustGeorge The reason they are there is because schools had to be closed because from a lack of teachers. Great examples they are setting, lying about being sick. The14 democrat senator who abandon their post. In the Marines it was 20 years in Leavenworh, or SHOT. Typical democrat cowards who cut and run.

  • That's what you get for electing a governor that was a C student college dropout. The first Wisconsin governor in 64 years who didn't graduate from college.

Probably not a guy you want to put in charge.

  • @trimbie2 Yeah, common sense is a bitch isn't it?

  • Comment removed

  • Also @mediaphotographer ...Collective bargaining allows works to have a say in workplace conditions and policy. For example, if this bill passes, three sick day in a row means automatic termination. Also in this bill, he wants to sell all are 35 power plants to his buddies. He takes control of medicaid funds (which are federal funds) It goes on. It goes to far that's all and quite frankly it has little to do with pensions and insurance. We already conceded on pensions & healthcare.

  • @Serendipity182 you're so wrong collective bargaining is was gives union power. Listen I was in a union, that's pure crap! Read the bill, a doctors excuse is required for successive absent sick days. What wrong with that? We have that in the private sector. The power plant issue is to sell off a losing subsidized commodity. Lets fact it private enterprise can run it better. Wisconsin rate per kilowatt is 12.76. Average for west central region is 11.66 , for the East central region is 9.69.

  • @mediaphotographer.... You make a good argument, except that the teachers have already said that they would pay into their pensions, and conceded to pay the amount for healthcare that Walker asked. He is demanding to give up our rights to collectively bargain. Teachers as well as Corrections Officers, Nurses, Police, Janitors, Food Service Workers, Laborers, Electricians...... have collectively bargained in our state and have taken many concessions to help balance the budget. Read the Bill.

  • @Serendipity182 I would only agree if all essential workers i.e. Police and fire fighters have collective bargaining and that;s it! Listen I know a lot first hand about SEIU (A real dirt bag union ) and the IATSE Local 600, which just took our money and did absolutely nothing in return. Don't talk about the false hood of collective bargaining, It's a front, they are using you and you're sucked in by it. Good luck!

  • Inspiring!!!!!

  • Keep in mind our current education system ranks second in the country. We will do what it takes to protect that. States without bargaining rights for teachers score the lowest in the country.

  • @Serendipity182 what system are you referring to? Wisconsin? It ranks 8th. My bargaining state ranks 28th. Wis spends an average of $1513 per student while we spend $1106 The PISA report of 15 year olds from around the globe puts the US at 14th in education. So what about the student? Lets see, we pay most of your retirement entitlements and pay teachers more and get smarter kids? Have you lost your mind? Its about the children getting a better education, not a retirement entitlement Get that?

  • @mediaphotographer You can't expect to get good teachers when you don't want to pay them. They do have more education then Scott Walker.

  • @Serendipity182 I would expect the teachers get a fair wage but the added entitlements are way out of line. Teachers will always teach no matter what, it's the greed that is breaking our backs. Average wage is 40-45k. for 9 months work, add in all the benefits is way over 65k a year. Administrators get 100-150k.Think that's fair?

  • you guys are fricking awesome. don't let the corporations steal the american dream.

    i am now a cheesehead!

  • @tomitstube what do you think a union is? They are a political arm of the democratic party, The unions do the money laundering for them. The one ones with the american dream are the fat cat union leaders. Ever hear of any Unions Boss's house being foreclosed on? Every heard of a union boss taking a pay cut? Guess who got a huge cut of the Stimulus package? It wasn't me, it was the obama buddies, the union.... UNION SHEEP!!!!

  • @mediaphotographer

Are you indicating that Union Leaders are the "fat cats", but Hedge Fund Mangers aren't?? The biggest scandal involving a Union recently was the fact that an SEIU deputy administrator embezzled 200k. Compare that to the hundreds of billions a tiny fraction of the financial sector stole from the entire nation!

I have no idea how many conservatives get the idea that a bunch of people making 40 or 60k per year are the "elite" when the top 2% has a majority of all our wealth!

  • @kwhitegocubs Where did that comment come from? I Never even slightly mentioned "Hedge fund Mangers" ( you must mean Managers) To your response about the "Elite conservatives" That's right you are correct, you have no idea, let's leave it at that. You need to dig a little deeper into the real truth about unions siphoning of huge amounts of money. Then we can communicate better.

  • @tomitstube What an idiot comment. What does state public unions have to do with private corporations stealing what dream? A free ride? dream on clown!

  • @tomitstube What an idiot comment. What does state public unions have to do with private corporations ?Corporatiions are stealing what dream? A free ride? dream on clown!

  • @mediaphotographer ~ "what do public unions have to do with private corporations?" well, in this case, wisconsin state governor scott walker just gave 140 million dollars to private business which created a 137 million shortfall. he now wants teachers to pay for it with 8% pay cuts.

they've agreed to the cuts, but walker won't settle until he takes their right to bargain on their behalf.

    that answer your question?

  • @tomitstube That depends! What business was that? Educate me. 8% cut is better than no job at all.Looks like this will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

  • @mediaphotographer ~ private developers who don't need the money, private health plans (the irony), and general tax breaks for business.

these were paybacks for campaign favors.

it's political, several republican governors are doing the same thing. scott walker is a dishonest broker in all this, he also wants to give away wisconsin public utilities to corporations with "no-bid" contracts that only he can approve. it's been done in texas and elsewhere, and utility bills go way up,

  • @tomitstube Guess what ? Wisconsin utilities bills are the highest in the area. Government cannot run businesses, they do not know how. Energy bills are climbing because of Oil and Coal, and the EPA stranglehold on the environment. Build more Nuclear plants, that will drive the rates down. Again, what business did walker "Give" 140 m to?

  • @mediaphotographer ~ idk how utilities rate nationally in relationship to wisconsin, but one thing is guaranteed, when it becomes a "for profit" your bills WILL go up. and the epa driving up energy prices is a typical nonsense from the right. more nuclear plants? not worth the risk and what should we do with the millions of gallons of radioactive waste we have now that takes 10's of 1000's of years to decay?

  • @tomitstube, Energy Bils are going up anyway. ( gas, OIl prces are rising as we speak. The EPA is a liberal lap dog for obama. You Say, Nuclear power in not worth the risk for nuclear energy. You have not done your home work have you? Nuclear has not had any accident since Three Mile iIsland in1979 Quit your tree hunging and learn more about and support Nuclear power. Thirty countries now use Nuke Energy.

  • @mediaphotographer is a convicted rapist and known pedophile.

  • tomisttube if you weren't such an idiot you'd realize that the US corps pay the 2nd highest corporate tax of any civilized nation. Maybe since Tax cuts to corporations has nothing to do with the facts you should focus on truly pertinent evidence to support your claims.

  • @johnnyc0707 No we don't you ignoramus.

  • RECALL THE GOVERNOR

  • @johnnyc0707 ~ you want evidence? 2/3rds of american corporations pay ZERO in taxes. republicans just voted in the house to continue to subsidize oil companies with 40 billion dollars. the most profitable companies in history are given billions while they vote against programs for the poor. every single republican did this. corporations have tax havens all around the world including a favorite in the cayman islands. most corporations squash competitors with these unfair advantages.

  • @tomitstube Corporations create jobs. Governments create deficits, promising pensions to union workers with taxpayer earned money. That is NOT the American dream, it's a nightmare. We cannot afford to pay union entitlements for corrupt union leaders bribing democrats politicians to legislate more money from hard working Americans to the unions in the form of dues... the problem is after the union leaders and their staff get the theirs, there is no more. We are less competitive because of fraud.

  • @hellotommy ~ corporations, or the private sector, lost 8 million jobs in 2008. these huge corporations currently pay little to nothing in taxes, they get huge tax payer subsidies while shipping your job overseas for lower wages and lax regulations on pollution and worker rights.

unions on the other hand, fight for the worker, try to keep jobs here, try to keep wages livable, and collectively, they can at the moment, bargain for workers rights.

you have to stop blaming the victim!

  • @tomitstube The American citizen went to sleep for a few years and let the communist infiltrate the government, now thanks to Obama/Soros the citizen is getting an education and going back to basics,FREEDOM 101 is now the most popular course offered through the school of hard knocks,my 94 year old grandmother is up on all the latest news,my 11 year old daughter knows what the constitution means, this is America and soon there will be NO MORE FREE RIDES.

A change in tax law will fix Corps soon.

  • @hellotommy ~ you clearly haven't the slightest clue wtf you're talking about. complete gibberish.

  • @tomitstube Let me be clear; public unions collect dues ---- dues go to democrat politician ---- now he is obligated to increase union wages and benefits, repeat this over and over.

You have the right to assemble just don't use taxpayer money, that's un-American. The 14 WI Dems hide from the process, it tears the country apart. Our kids are getting screwed by this display of cowardice. Remember only one thing; we’re bankrupting the country and you’re refusing to be honest with yourself.

  • @tomitstube I'm happy to see the workers have been provided a CHOICE as to whether or not their join the union. Pro Choice! What a move from the Republicans! If you don't like it, you can blame the coward dems they refused to come back and debate it, Walker offered concessions that fell on deaf ears. Get used to it the American people have elected a slew of teaparty officials and there will be more to come on 2012.

  • @hellotommy ~ public workers already had a choice to not join a union. and walker never offered anything, the workers gave him the pay cuts, but walker wants to crush workers civil rights for his union busting billionaire bosses.

speaking of "falling on deaf ears". i've refuted everything you've said with facts, but you continue to spew nonsense. is there something wrong with you, or do you just hate american's getting a livable wage?

  • @tomitstube let me be the 1st * WELCOME TO THE FREE WORLD! * You want solidarity? Join this union of us private individuals that have been going through this for years! We’re bringing back American exceptionalism. The globalists like Clinton, Bush, Obama, Soros are trying to shrink the American greatness so we fit in economically better with the rest of the countries around the world. It’s called “global governance” The American people are the only thing left between global tyranny and freedom.

  • The Union Motto = "work less, get paid twice as much, and get drunk on the job because hell, we can't get fired" .... bust these unions scotty!!!

  • REVOLUTION TIME

  • Comment removed

  • awwwww, you guys may bave to pay for some of your insurance like the rest of the world...be happy you have a job..and those of you skipping school, I hope it comes with no pay and you are fired. Stay strong Gov Walker

  • @orlandodolphin Throw him out now !! This about slavery period. The Kock billionaire assholes put him into office.

  • @v44forme1 this is called a democracy buddy. we don't "throw people out". This isn't Egypt. Hold strong Walker..You coward democrats show up to your job and vote. And once it passes, he should walk through the crowd with a giant gavel.

  • I am for the protests, for these students are learning very well that democracy goes on every day, and the only way it works is to get involved.

    Stand Up! Keep Fighting!

  • @MegaJustGeorge Are you referencing to the students who watch their teachers lie about being sick? Yea that's the best education for our children. What about their education, by having their schools closed? No morning pre school programs or worst, no morning breakfast programs to help nourishment the children? The union cares not.Truth hurts!

  • Wisconsin's overall graduation rate is 45%. For black students: 34%.

    Look it up.

And they want collective bargaining rights? Wow.

  • walker and all the rest of the republican governors are creating these deficits by giving tax cuts to corporations. they're liars and crooks.

STAY STRONG WISCONSIN. don't let these lying crooks steal your futures!!!!

  • @tomitstube sorry, very wrong comment. Put the emotion aside and get a real gripe what is going on and look at the real facts!!!

  • @tomitstube guess you really should blame the last gov. Hey, wasn't that Jim Doyle a democrat? Walker is cleaning up the mess those ass clowns left.

  • @mediaphotographer ~ lol, what you really mean is, "this mess" george bush and 12 years of a republican congress made. states lost revenue when private enterprise was deregulated and jobs were shipped overseas.

8 million jobs lost nationally, record unemployment, and 4 million jobs transfered to mexico, indonesia, and china... etc.

you see, when you don't pay for trillions in tax cuts to wealthy people, don't pay for two wars, and wreck government revenue, you have deficits. capice?

  • @tomitstubeless Please, Your worn out novice approach is nauseating at best. Responding to your lame sophomoric dribble is best, not to be commented on.

  • @tomitstube Your verbal vomit about bush, republicans and the rich are lame, outdated and highly mis-informed. I could beat you up with facts, but you would not grasp it anyway/ Why Bother! Are you better off now or 4 years ago?

  • @tomitstube ummm wow you are a useful idiot,, OK So what corporations got a tax cut?/ the federal tax rate is is 15% for the 1st $50,000 after that its 38% So the the state can only add to that,, or not,, the governors don't give tax breaks or increases,, the legislature does,, so if the state legislature taxes the corporation,, wont that corporation leave to another state?? OHHH wow yea,, probably,, see Michigan for an example,, you stupid asswipe

  • @ikambor ~ so, you're ok with corporations holding state governments hostage? most times the tax breaks are more than the jobs and revenue they create. it's just donor money payed back in campaign contributions. 2/3rd's of all corporations pay no taxes. the koch brothers are worth 43 billion and recently laid off 158 workers (among others) in green bay, while raising their salaries about a billion a year.

walker's "crisis" is contrived to weaken workers rights.

  • @tomitstube what tax break specifically?

  • @Reckless3057 ~ walker gave 3 corporate tax breaks specifically. you can go the wisconsin's "fiscal bureau", the states equivalent of the cbo. they have a pdf, you can read the whole bill. signed jan. 31st, giving 25 million to developers who still have 73 million unspent because of the bad economy. (totally an unneeded gift) 48 million to private health savings account (a republican slush fund) and 67 billion in tax incentives for business. it's more than walker's "crisis" deficit.

  • @tomitstube giving money to developers is not a tax break. it is welfare. I agree corporate welfare is not good. it's not a tax break either. what is the difference between this and a stimulus? A private health savings account is not a tax break unless you believe that the money in question should be the property of the government, it is not a tax break. tax break means a reduction in nominal money owned to the government. if health savings accounts are a slush fund is a different matter.

  • @tomitstube Anyone in office could get at those funds if they are not owned by the indivdual who puts into them. a democrat could do it just as fast as anyone else. tax incentives could be a tax break but it need not be. it could be lessening of fee's not taxes. still assuming it is a tax break (not corperate or capital gains i assume) why wouldn't you want to tax business less if you want higher employment?

  • These protestors are so child-like in their thinking. There is no money to pay for the excessive pention plans and salaries paid for on the backs of the private sector. Why don't they understand this????

  • @jonnyw82 they understand that and they are okay with that part but they are not okay with taking away their right to bargain, this bill will ultimately dis-ban the unions and if it can happen in one state it can happen anywhere. They want to negotiate; we are all people and we all must take care of each other and clearly understanding the issues is the first step, that means not filtering who we get information from. Not just Fox news or MSNBC but everywhere.

  • Tea baggers got their asses kicked today. It was awesome watching these cowards slink out of our city. Thank you Madison!

  • How long before these union scuz balls become violent?

  • @poisonapple16 guess what poisonappe?...... they already are.

  • @mediaphotographer I'm talking Bahrain violent.

    There isn't a body count.

    Yet.

  • @poisonapple16 You want that in the US? You want body count?

  • @mediaphotographer What I want is irrelavant.

The republicans in WI don't have enough votes to pass a budget, but they do have a majority.

They can change collectively bargaining WITHOUT a budget.

    This is just starting.

  • @poisonapple16 i guess we will have to wait the outcome. I am sure there is room for compromise. If those clowns that fled can get their act together. You do not win by retreat or running away!

  • @mediaphotographer Indeed.

  • @poisonapple16 you are in very dangerous waters.

  • @mediaphotographer ??????

  • @poisonapple16 If you want body count in Bahrain to have the same actions in the States, Then, you are in very very dangerous waters. Anarchy, is what you are calling for? Body Count? Think about what you say.

  • @mediaphotographer Let me see if I can dumb this down for you...

What I want is irrelevant. I am commenting on what is.

Prehaps when you get older you will learn not to observe the world from the point of view of what you want.

  • @poisonapple16 No need to be condescending. Getting older is getting wiser ! You still cannot answer my question, can you?

  • @mediaphotographer Again, the question is irrelavant.

  • @poisonapple16 Easy question to answer. The answer is relevant.

  • @mediaphotographer OK, you have ceased to be interesting...

  • @poisonapple16 You Cretin, I gave up a your lame answering ass long before you came with that bright comment.

  • @mediaphotographer ...and yet you keep responding.

    You may be mentally retarded.

  • @mediaphotographer still do you want situation that In the US that happening now?

  • This is the test run for all the other states...the union is dead now...DEAD!!!! Their greed killed it for everybody.

  • Just wondering, where do these people expect the money to come from? Do they want the Peoples Taxes to Increase? Do they feel they are Entitled to have these Jobs and why don't they just quit if the job is no good? They should direct their anger at Geroge Soros and his friends of the New World Order, not their own people

  • KEEP SPEDING YOU DUMB ASS PROGRESSIVES. Keep picketing til July 1st. SPEND SPEND SPEND MORE PLEASE........

Make me rich teachers demand demand demand. DONT GIVE IN you tresonist idiots. BRING MORE kids to the protest

I GOT PHYSICAL SILVER KEEP IT up. Last four years you PROGRESSIVE SOCIALIST ARE MAKING ME RICH

I got PHYSCAL SILVER KEEP BEING STUPID

IM RICH BITCH- keeeeeep spending idiots

  • It isn't even the bill that has made people so angry, it is the way they are trying to push it through. This was supposed to be a budget bill, but it went way further than that, including legislation that would lead to a separation of UW-Madison from the rest of the UW-System, which would be a great loss to Wisconsin's citizens. You also can't just end 70 years of negotiation in one week because you have the majority in the capitol. That is just crazy. This is democracy at work, ask Abe.

  • Through years of collective bargaining teachers have accepted wage cuts for better benefits and now they want to take away from the benefits with zero negotiation and no pay raise. People are willing to accept reductions, but not the complete removal of negotiation. This is happening in other states too as a strategy for corporations to loot this country before they parachute out of here with all of our money. Walker is a puppet. Teachers are good it is many parents who are terrible btw...

  • @digiprez77 100,000 in compensation for WI teachers per year. YEAH THESE BABIES ARE SUFFERING so much.....

  • GREAT IDEA: All state workers set a "walk-out" date while the democratic assemblymen are still out of state. You'll see how quickly Walker renegotiates when there are no cops, fireman, teachers or garbage pick up. Stck together!!!

  • @elwaybigfan It is time the unions quit sucking off of tax payers money. FIRE the unions.

  • If you had to prepare and do an hour long presentation in front of thirty people it would be a lot of work , right? Teachers have to do that 3-4 times a day five days a week to educate our society. And they have to have a lot of schooling and will never make big money.

  • @trimbie2 Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!

  • @ExZonie you're just a little kid.

  • Wait they can't say "kill" Did you notice the protesters are angry hate filled middle class white people? I wonder if they cling to guns and religion? I'm waiting for Nancy to lament the violent protests of her youth and call them AstroTurf.

  • Don't these teachers get enough time off already now their taking more days off for this crap. No one is asking them to pay for someone else's free ride like they are asking. Pay half the health care that private sector employees pay pay something toward you're own pension instead of making me pay for your retirement. These teachers expect so much from the tax payer then get some results. What is the US ranked in education?
