What separates the Throbak p/u's from the other 'clones' out there is that Jon Gundry is using the same winding machines from the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo,
Michigan where the originals were made back in the late '50's. Basically, it's like getting a pair of NOS PAF's.
I love it very rich and creamy. Im currently really digging those early Jeff beck Group recordings and I think this pedal nails those tones. Thanks for the demo

I never cared for the pickups, you gotta try motorcity pu's or Wagner Custom Rewinds - you'll be happy you tried them....much MUCH happier. ;)

It's a MKIII variant as far as I know.
