  • thanks man, needed to know for sure if it was good on ebay

  • i was also told by numerous bike enthusiasts on boostcruising

  • Love the whine from the engine :)

Is that mostly fro the gear driven cam?

  • Believe so... No question, those lil CBRs have an awesome note.. Most of todays 250s sound more like sewing machines unless you spend a heap on exhaust..

Was sad to see the lil thing go but it's replacement (Daytona 675) was worth the sacrifice.. Oh Yeah...

  • damn i wish learners could still use this bike...

  • Where can't they.. Still a legal learners bike in Oz.. Hope so in any case, my brother just bought it off me and he is on his learners.. He's gunna be pissed if someone changed the rules.. lol.

  • In NSW and QLD that i know of...if you go on google and type in LAMS (Learner approved Motcorcyles) it says at the bottom...this is what it says:

All motorcycle built before December 1960 are approved.

All scooters with electric powered engines are approved.

All motorcycles with an engine capcity under 260ml are approved with the exception of:

    Suzuki RGV250

    Kawasaki KR250 (KR-1 and KR1s models)

    Honda NSR250

    Yamaha TZR250

    Aprila RS250

  • Yep aware of those bikes on the list & their non-LAMS approval..

    This is a CBR250RR...

  • well i really hope your right cause i'm looking to get a cbr250rr...well i'll double check by asking transport department..

  • Get your hands on a copy of the February 2wheels magazine.. Page 115

The CBR250RR has always been & still is LAMS approved.. I got my original lic on one, redid my lic last year on one & my brother is currently getting his lic on one..

  • ohok cool, well that's reassuring lol...i'm looking to buy one now..is it easy to find parts for the bike?

  • Yeah, pretty easy.. Just remember, these are old bikes, do alot of searching & reading & you have to be carefull where you buy from..

Hint: a CBR250RR advertised as 2008 was still built in the late 90s & practically all CBRs have had the Odo wound back..

For some serious learning, google "honda jdm cbr forums".. Should be the first site..

  • ok cheers mate...

  • also it doesnt have cbr250rr on tha actual LAMS list

  • Fuck. They banned all the fun bikes :( ..

    Killjoys..

Well not here in NZ anyway. The government is still quite happy to give a 16 year old a Motorcycle license and an Aprilia RS250... lol

  • damn i wanna live in NZ now lol...nah too far away form everything

  • Did you even bother to read the info box??

Quote" I know its fake and don't care.." Unquote..

That was pretty much the point of the clip. Comparing the stock can against a "Fake" Ebay Yoshi..

  • no i didn't bother to read the info box and i appologise if i offended you, i was merely stating a fact that you had obviously already stated. i just the read the title that said ebay yoshi on cbr. sorry.

  • From what I have heard you can damage the engine in the long run with bad pipe.

  • yo i wasn't giving advise i was stating a fact fuckhead.

  • what would be the loudest exhaust for it?

  • i had a 600cc exhaust on mine. went pretty loud

  • is that exhaust legal?

  • Can't see why not.. Havn't been pulled up for it as yet in any case..

Not a hell of a lot louder than standard, just beefier & crisper..
