the cylinder is glued with a locking sealant. to break this glue you must 'shock it' all you need for this is something that will fit in the holes as seen in 1:08 and a hammer. put your object in the holes and give it a sharp smack with the hammer so it turns the cylinder head counter-clockwise (do it hard but be careful, just enough to allow the cylinder head to be turned) repeat until the cylinder head can be twisted off with needle nose pliers in the holes. glad to help ^.^
HAHA i found out how to get the cylinder head off XD you will need a vice and a pair of long nose pliers and alot of time...
Basically there is this red glue stuff holding it on but it is a thread too so you just need to keep going at it im afraid, it took me 1 hour but i got it off. Oh and by the way does anyone know why my vsr10 piston wont fit properly the white rings look a bit big should i file them down ?
I have the same gun and the same problem my piston has worn down due to the cheap material it is made out of so i bought a new piston but obviously cannot replace it untill the cylinder head comes off :/ if anyone has ANY ideas that could potentialy work let me know ASAP thank-you
@ruuman I have tried both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Both don't work. It's a real pain as I was planning on removing the weights on the piston. :(
@a380person Bugger, afraid anything I suggest might be to damaging. I'd guess it's either been glued or is a press fit now. Would make sense as it would remove a lot of cost in construction.
The cocking handle end appears to be held in place by pins, but these are be key to the operation. If it were me I'd stick a blow torch on the c/head being very careful of the piston, but I wouldn't recommend anyone do this!!

hum, your right it doesn't look like it's glued, just like they have deleted the pin, which to be honest is pointless.
Silly question, have you tried unscrewing in the opposite direction? maybe they have reversed the thread?
