Dude...he manipulated the "trailer" of the '89 version to fit almost seamlessly with the trailer of the 2008 film. Its very clever. But that wasn't the original trailer for the 1989 Batman flick.

The movie is far from a remake. Christopher Nolan is actually using the concept from the comic, much different (and greater) than anything hollywood has tried so far.
Even if Dark Knight doesn't turn out completely accurate, it still gives a very impressive effort. At least Nolan is referring to the comic for his material. Plus, its completely alright to criticize the 89' version, after all it was 19 years ago. I'm not saying that Burton's movie was bad (I actually like it), nevertheless, the movie should be based on the comic; if anything for the loyal fanbase.

No it's not. Batman Begins is a reboot of the Batman movie series. Burton's Batman is one universe, Nolan's in another. TDK only shares the characters of the comics with Batman 89. Yes Joker is the villain, yes Harvey Dent is in it. It was bound to happen. Joker is the most popular villain in comics and Harvey Dent formed the trinity with Bats and Gordon.
Dont go into TDK thinking it is a rehash of Batman 89, go into it as a new take on comic's deadliest villain and a great chilling movie.

This movie is going to be the best of all the batman series, the director made some of the best films like memento, insomnia, the prestige etc. . so you know! its ganna be a good phsychological movie and it should fit the jokers personality very wellbeing an evil genious and whatnot, so hopefully it has twists and turns like all his movies do. And best joker, they way hey made him look is very raw but it fits the joker character well

The Dark Knight is going to be better than the original Batman movie.The original Batman movie was good,but it's not as good as The Dark Knight.Christian Bale is a better Batman than Michael Keaton and Heath Ledger is a better Joker than Jack Nicholson.

This is probably gonna be better then the original Batman, but Christian Bale a better Batman i think not, Micheal Keaton was a better Batman, Bale is Second to best, i only have 2 flaws with Bale, his movement (which is ok) and the WAY HE TALKS AS BATMAN, way to "Serious"

well the ones with Kilmar and Clooney yeah i would agree, but first two (Burton) werent really, Batman Begins was pretty good, better then most superhero movies, but not the greatest, this new one one will be way better then before of course

Im just glad the Dark Knight isnt going to be as shitty as the original Batman/Joker movie. Better acting, better plot fulfillment, better...everything. More believable too. More realistic.

That's not the actual 89' trailer. While the guy did a great job putting this together, he timed the scenes just right. And what's with everyone getting all defensive about the older movie? If you haven't actually taken the time to read the comic, then you probably don't know what's hollywood and what's a direct adaptation.

No it's not. Batman Begins is a reboot of the Batman movie series. Burton's Batman is one universe, Nolan's in another. TDK only shares the characters of the comics with Batman 89. Yes Joker is the villain, yes Harvey Dent is in it. It was bound to happen. Joker is the most popular villain in comics and Harvey Dent formed the trinity with Bats and Gordon.
Dont go into TDK thinking it is a rehash of Batman 89, go into it as a new take on comic's deadliest villain and a great chilling movie.

i think 89 batman looks too much to the comic (that goes on taste ), I like this one.... Joker Looks tougher and scarier, he looks like a real menace!. I can't wait to see him.....

There is no way the 89' version looks like the comic. When was the last time you picked up a comic? Batman Begins and Dark Knight are actually picking up where the comics have been for awhile.

no, not atall. This movie has NOTHING to do with the original. These movies aren't do over jobs, they're original takes.
Apart from the fact that this is still the origins of batman, ie. Before he's properly kitted out and doesn't even have a batcave/Wayne manor as it was blown up in the last film.
I'm sure in the 89' batman movie this wasn't so. They're not the same

I'm pretty sure everyone would know that would be a blasphemy..to try and make the original better. Jack Nicholson did a great job. Heath Ledger wouldn't have done the movie if they were trying to upstage. He agreed to do it because they were going a different direction :P

You say they are the same when I believe they are blatantly the same, they are virtually the same movie, this new one is a remake as they are remaking all the original Batman films using Christian Bale. Also, I believe this new one will be better purely on the modern day stuff, the original film that this is a remake of was made in 1989, we have so much more to use now, I believe it will outdo the original, not by much but it will. And Heath Ledger will be just as good a Joker as Jack Nicholson!
