@evdokimova7777 There's a difference between going for a gap, and outright stupidity. Yeah, I bet from the cockpit it looked promising. I'm not saying Alan doesn't have balls for going for it. Hell, kudo's to him. But it was pretty stupid going for that small of a gap with slower traffic ahead, especially since that 458 was in the hands of an AM driver.

@fkobama1 Nah, that ferrari is vastly slower car, these cars are running in completely seperate classes & that audi could potentially win the race outright. in contrast the ferrari is competing in a lesser class. the ferrari driver must be aware of vastly faster cars on track, you will notice the audi is almost completely alongside it when the ferrari moves across & clips it. the smuck in the ferrari competing in a lower class fucked up the very expensive & way more important audi race programme

@100milnic The Ferrari never watched the R18 coming. If you notice McNish dive to get pass his teammate but he never notice the Ferrari was ahead. The Ferrari only notice the 1st Audi not the 2nd one, that´s the reason they crashed.

@100milnic McNish pushed too hard. It's not been the first time that Allan was invoived in a horrible crash. That's not a matter of expenses or faster/slower cars - just his understanding of racing. Timo Bernhard stayed behind the Ferrari for some reason (there must have been a resason, he is a good driver as well) and the Ferrari did NOT leave it's line like the bloke that crashed Rockenfeller's car did. I cannot understand why McNish tried such a stupid overtake in the beginning of a 24h race.
