Man I always hated how they gave you this totally epic army of marines with shotguns and ARs, and Plasma Rifles...yet the moment you encounter a big group of enemies... they are infection forms that kill your epic army in one hit. Would have been cool if they gave you a huge shoot out with the covenant

@gratefuldad76 I had the same problem. You have to get a feel for the timing and run as soon as a long flicker is coming up and jump and hope the break will be short and the bridge will catch you. You can also try going across on the ground and then using a plasma to boost your jump up to the landing. I haven't done it this way but I've gotten close.

@BIOzetrax I got Halo 2 to run fine on Windows 7. I am sure Halo C.E would run okay on Windows 7 too. Not sure about Vista...never used Vista. Those are the minimum requirements according to the box.

That's the wrong elevator. It breaks on everyone. I think I avoided that room completely, because I knew where it was. The next elevator you eventually find will take you up. Just go back to just before you go in the room with the elevator that breaks and find the same spot in the walkthrough you'll see what to do, if you still have trouble.

Wait, marines have no shields? I thought they do have a little, since I've seen their shields recover on a warthog after they've been shot. They didn't seem to have lost any health when they were recovering.

guilty spark level is annoying cuz combat flood follow you wherever you go if you dont be sure to shoot them when they fall down. i got a pistol and shot like 7 combat floods(in the arm) and i turned around and 5 minutes later, i noticed at least 7 flood were behind me.

If you watch the cutscenes from Walkthroughs 1, 27, 39, and listen to Guilty Spark's commentary on Walkthrough 36 at time 6:27 (which I unfortunately talked over), you'll get a better idea of the background for the game. Now that you know where it is, you can listen to that last part I mentioned on your own game. But, basically Guilty Spark says the Forerunner kept samples of flood on Halo for study after the last catastrophic outbreak and that, that decision may have been in error. Ya think?!

@ForumsExtremeDotCom another way to get the back story of the game is read the book halo ghosts of onyx, and listen to guilty sparks comments throughout this game, and halo 3, only on the last lvl of halo 3 tho, thats the quickest way, but u will miss some stuff about it if u do it this way.
