In my JHS Play i had to audition as a dancer for the play "ANNIE GET YOUR GUN" we had to do singing too,I was nervous a lil bit because the director said she directed the original broadway play "ANNIE GET YOUR GUN" but i succeeded,and this was 1 of my favorite songs from that play,i put my heart&soul in dancing to this song,and i liked our customs too,When the play was finish most of the caucasian parents said i was the only 1 on stage that looked like a TRUE INDIAN,and they said i wasGoodDANCER

what an annoying thing to say. she's obviously singing about american indians. and besides, if you want to get technical about the nomenclature, "native americans", as they're called, did not call themselves americans. they didn't even acknowlege the race they belong to, which is why tribal names are as broad as any racial term in their lexicon.
