Interesting. I think there's something to the change in technology and globalization but not in a way biased to the educated, they decrease the labor we need to do but we haven't adapted to it. The politics I think stems from the economics. The education thing is just a way of allocating the limited jobs IMO. Totally agree there's a different mechanism for the top 1% than the bottom 99% inequality.
Why did executive compensation, capital gains policy, deregulation, etc, all happen in the Anglophile world, what explains this political change?
