good job. my band did this show this past year, this band watered down most parts though which i thought took away from the show. if you cant play it as written then your band simply isnt good enough to do that show.

the hold was too long so we made it shorter, not easier. the trombone/baritone solo was a tuba solo. Not sure what you mean on the little movements. I would list the things crypress falls watered down but there are too many!

@claudiah369 I like the Cy-Falls version better. Way better sound quality and articulations from Cy-Falls. Coronado is only God in El Paso. Get over yourself.

@Anielday06 @claudiah369 The Cy-Falls version is way better. Drill is much better, colorguard is way better, and the music sounds enjoying and inviting. Coronado played well, but I absolutely hated their drill and colorguard. I felt that the body movement before the final phrase is just completely unneccesary and complety irrevelent to the show whatsoever.

Its UIL. they dont care about how "watered down" the parts are they just care if you do it good thats the whole reason it was "watered down"

I had the pleasure of watching CyFalls rehearse this show on a few seperate occasions... this group has an amazing work ethic, and it definitely paid off.

Anyone who bashes this particular group of kids is terribly mistaken.

Im not exactly sure how were playing it this year? Im in Drumline and our percussion music is specially written by Dave Marvin. And our percussion music usually doesnt get to us for a while, but the Winds already have their's!

as for you, blahblahwhatever, suck it up. you didn't go to state, try again in two years. no offense, but you guys didn't even make finals :/ so i dont see why you're saying anything. if anything, woods could've gone too. and so could all the other bands in finals, so keep your mouth shut.
