  • Makes me want to make my GSXR 600 L0 a track only bike next year. Streets are too hectic in Toronto these days.Too many dumbass cagers.

  • Pimpmedown , The only advice that I have for you is practice , practice ,practice ! I don't say this to take anything away from you eather . But , a GSX-R no matter what size it is . Is a completly different animal than any machine on the dirt or sand ! Be carefull ! Good luck and ride safe no matter what terrain you are riding on .

  • if i had a 125ccm 2 years (1 year 90kmh 1 yeah 140kmh) <-- yzfr125

do u thing i´ll be able to ride that bike ?

and do u have some other "ideas" for me ?

  • @Pimpmedown I have been driving an aprilia rs 125 08 for 2 years and then i started riding a gsxr 600 L0.

I felt pretty confortable with it. The biggest difference is the power and the weight.

I have no problems with it.

  • @Chamilitary93

    okay thank u :))

  • ah im glad im live in place where 250 are more than enough...

  • I sold my last bike nearly ten years ago. Yesterday I saw a gixer600 32k miles for sale with an asking price of £2300. Hang on.......what's that burning sensation I'm feeling in my wallet?

Oh god, she's gonna kill me......

  • Just get a 600. I never had any riding experience and bought a 07 gsxr600 2 years ago. Granted i took a 2 day course before that, i would recommend you do that also. Just know your limits and always wear your gear. Im yet to lay down my bike or lowside. Be aware of your surroundings cause the cagers will run you off the road. My closest calls were from them so drive defensivly and youll be fine. 600 FTW.

  • 0-death /// im guessing you own a shadow and thats why your telling this dude he's gonna go down. Fuck a 250 bro thats for the little kids. My girlfriend who has only been a passenger got her first bike three months ago and has had not one issue with crashing or getting lowsided. I had no riding exp. a yr ago when i got my 07 gsxr 750 and im still kicking and riding strong. My girl got a 07 gsxr-600 and since october we have done almost 7,500 miles. idiots die --- wear a helmet--- no your limit

  • good shit!

  • I've got the same bike as in the vid. but mine is 25 kw , Next week the 25kw is going to be removed.. :-)

  • 200KM/Hour in 3rd gear on a 600cc???

    Really???

    Come on... lol

  • 200 KM/Hour in 3rd gear on a 600cc?

    Hmmm.....

  • I say, a 600 cc bike is an alright beginner bike, hell. I started riding a 250r Ninja and after about a month I was SO BORED of that bike, and jumped up to a GSX-R 600.

  • A person can kill themself on a bicycle. I started on an R6 and did fine on it until someone pulled a left in front of me. I know people who have started on 1 litre bikes and not had problems. It's all the rider and not the bike. The ones that crash don't respect the bike or their skill level.

  • @Stiyl10 absolutely agree with this. my first bike was an 08 gsxr 600, bought it two years ago, never had an accident. common sense is crucial to learning on a 600-1000, however not alot of people have that. like you said, respect the bike, youll do fine, get cocky, get hurt.

  • @Stiyl10 I agree too. I ride an 09 GSX-R600 (it's my dad's), and I've never fallen or crashed or had an accident. I also have a 150cc scooter (as my fist bike), and gradually I gained more experience, and when my dad purchased the GSX-R, I had no problems riding it. When it comes to bikes, rather be safe than sorry. I try to ride as slow as possible (preferably 80km/h). I never treat the road as a MotoGP circuit. I enjoy the ride and take things slow.

  • @corruptorCEREBRUM The power modes help. Leave it in C-mode and you will be alright.

  • i dont know why people go as far as to call 600s and sometimes even 700s beginner bikes

anything above 350 in mu opinion is not a beginner bike, if fact there was a time when 250 was considered mid range. anyway, starting out of a 250 is a smart choice because they have a good margin for error. but like Chris said, you can kill yourself on a 250 as well, and its brain that counts. you can start on a 1000 a be alright. it all just depends on the rider. but it only helps to start small

  • does this model have ABS? i am not sure what models have and if it is a standard thing

  • Only Honda puts ABS in supersport bikes as far as I know.

Might be wrong but I'm 99% sure.

  • and BMW

  • @Nolimittt Now the BMW S1000RR does too!!

  • Thats one of my favourite Bikes ;))

  • now thats what i call a bike

  • theres a bige difference fro a dirt bike to a 600cc motorcycle the look and fell are totally different i suggest starting with a 250cc motorcycle, and a gsxr aint no beginner bike sorry

  • thats funny b.c I am 21 not a little punk kid, but the way your speaking you make your self sound like the little punk chump butch that you are because you think you can say anything b/c your hiding behind a computer screen your prob either a skinny little bitch or a fat spoiled bastard

  • oh wait no wonder why you speak like someone un educated your a 27 year old red neck wigger you try to act and dress black but your a whiteee boiii dawwggggg 4 LIFEEE

  • Lol do you think you're cool cause you use lowercase a lowercase "i" Hahah. No one will ever take you seriously if you do that stupid gangster mexican typing you moron..

  • heh, or you can be cool like me and ride a 600cc dirt bike(dual sport). :p

  • @ScoobWRX04 ? the gass isn't an on off switch lol

  • Don't be nutty.

Splitting the Gixxer 600 and R6 is like arguing over wether blonde or brunette is best. For the record, the R6 costs more, the insurance is more, the bike itself is about 15kg heavier.. But it looks pretty. The GSXR is the most lightweight out of the 600cc class, doesn't have as much top end as the R6 (hardly noticable if it's your first 600) and it's much better riding through streets as most of you will be doing, since the position is at a friendlier angle.

    /End.

  • that ones easy.. brunettes all the way lol. R6 vs. GSXR600, now thats a whole new story.

  • r6 gixxer r6 gixxer....verdammt!^^

  • damnit! so hard to chose between this and R6.

  • Seriously! Except i'm caught between CBR600RR, R6, and GSX-R 600. AAAAAAAA so hard!

  • scrap the CBR.. i decided if im going to be heavy on track, ill get the R6. i sat on one and its not comfortable at all for streets. but ill probably be moderate on tracks, so i think i might go for gixer750 :D

  • why scrap the cbr? I love how the exhaust goes up through the center of the bike and it has an electronic steering damper. I have an '09 CRF250R and it came with a steering damper and it does wonders. I'm coming off a ninja 650 so any of them would be nice.

  • the new CBR's have the ABS brakes which makes the bike heavy a heck. id ont like the idea of ABS on bikes unless all you do is street ride. also, the pipe that comes out the back makes it much heavier than the shorties. plus the shorties are much louder. but they are really comfortable, even more than the gixer. but i just prefer the R6 and gixer.

  • You're right about the ABS. I don't want it. So I think I'll go with the '08 model. I dont really care for loudness, but if it sounds good it more than makes up for it. But the R6 and GSX-R 600 are definitely possibilities.

  • if u need a prodigul son ive got spirit an fire !

  • holly shit cornering at over 200 km/h that's nuts

  • non really a monster of lap time, 1.55 in misano with a 600 is not bad but also not so impressive

  • ummm, no it's a fuckin good time man....

  • i lapped 1:58 with my almost stock aprilia rs 250, and i'm not that fast rider, so means the little rs250 is still a not up to date bike

  • i got gsxr 600 k7 my best lap is 1:47''567...ahm...what about your fucking aprilia 250???

  • Comment removed

  • man this dude is a beast!!!!! i ride a lil but not like that i got a lot of work to do lol great vid!!

  • Some fast corners are easier to take then some of the slow corners out there.. :)

  • Man this dude can ride!

  • sure he's motorcycle testdriver xD

  • must have been one hell of a lap time!

  • Impressed! 250km/h corners and 230km/h corners are very impressive. I don't know....actually I know that I wouldn't have the balls to take a corner at that speed.

  • balls of steel .... I would be shitting bricks for a week ....

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! <3Suzuki<3

  • What's the top speed on this bike? MPH that is.

  • the top speed on a gsxr 600 is about 285-290 kph = about 165/170mph i think. i have seen a k7 go 294 but he almost blew up his engine. so the most safe way to go fast on a gsxr 600 would be 280. still fast and better for your engine;)

  • Who is the test rider ? Is this Adam Badziak from Poland ?

  • timmehboy92 you are a son of a bitch, i hope you die in scum.

  • I did a diff way of breaking in. 3x 5 mile sessions, light city driving with no constant highway steady rpms. Imbetween each 5 miles let the bike cool down so it gets rid of the hotspots...then after the 3x sessions take it to a very turny road and use no more than 2/3 throttle...after 50...change the oil...then it's ready for regular driving(no full throttle). I love my '08 white/silver....yum. The accel and top speed are wicked!

  • i just got a black 08 600 and i took the muffler off. was that a bad idea????

  • no mww, but you better wear some ear buds or something lol cuz that bitch is going to be loud.

  • top 600 in 2008 suzuki GSXR and i owm a new R6 so ive ridden both, CBR is lovely and smooth too tho but gixxer has the edge

  • i just got my 08 black on black gixxer 600! so damn nice! first bike and i love it. but i wanna do the 600 miles already sucks that i have to wait too see wat this baby can do

  • whats this 600 mile thing im about to get a bike..ive never ridden before and im looking to get this..any advice?

  • cuz im babying my bike so after 600 miles u can go over 8 rpms...cuz u have to break in the bike correctly

  • they tell you not to dog it out until the first oil change which is about after 600 miles or so.

  • i think that MCN rides those 1.000km on the road before they ride it on track ...

  • im about to get a bike..ive never ridden before

umm yeah, don't get a 600cc as first bike...

or you will go 0-death in record time ;)

    try a 250cc

  • not realy i had nevver riden before 2 days course thru college monday i was riding my yamaha r 6 .. i was very very scared thooo ppl tellin u o becareful 2 big blla blla sure they are fats but control ur wrist u should e just fine...

  • it's not about the power in terms of safety, but those who learn to ride on powerful bikes learn a lot of bad habits because they are trying too hard to respect the bike's power.

Go ride a 250 for a weekend and you'll see.

  • what kind of bad habbits?

  • justt dont be scared. My first bike was a gsx 750 f ,,, 250 kg! But just dont be scared, go to your limits step by step and switch on brain while driving. thats it. Have fun - be careful

  • @shadow3d

not true my first bike was a gsxr 750 and i am still alive

if you give it to much gas at the start when you dont have experience

you will get some respect for the bike trust me

its no a matter of how big or fast the bike is its only a matter of how much brain the rider has you can also kill your self with a 250cc so it doesnt matter

  • @shadow3d Some people can control themselves..I know alot of people who get a 600 after riding a few dirtbikes and do fine..

  • @shadow3d I started on a gixxer 600, no issues haven't found the pavement yet. Been riding for 1 season. Granted I have no illusions of never going pavement surfing, a 600cc is only as dangerous as the person on top of it. I've also had 15+ years of riding off road too, so that helps.

  • @shadow3d first bike i had was ninja zx (750cc 105 BHP

    250 is complete trash u will take 5 years to get to a 1000.... i went from zx7 1994 to 2010 gsxr 1000,,,first gear 80 to first gear 165 ...

if u take a 250 u will suck your whole life

  • Comment removed

  • @shadow3d I've start on an 02 Gsxr 1000. It doesn't matter what size you start out at its how much you respect the bike and learn how sensitive the throttle and clutch are so you dont give it power you're not expecting. I don't believe in beginner bikes because you waste your money as soon as you feel like you can move up. Just get what you want and respect the power.

  • @Kenshin851 i agree 100%...i started on my brothers 04 ninja zx1200r...its all about control!!! unless your an idiot lol

  • @kaptaincocopuff98 Hell yeah man. The way I taught myself I put that sucker in neutral and played with the throttle until I can idle it at each grand. that way I for sure knew how much throttle to give. The clutch I learned riding in a empty parking lot

  • @Kenshin851 haha i learned in my high school parking lot.....first weekend i was already taking a road trip

  • @kaptaincocopuff98 Nice man I didn't have time to take any road trips but I started hitting the canyons near my home and started riding faster and faster til I was practically knee dragging.

  • just got my 08 love the noticable increase in low end acceleration and electronic steering damper, i'll have some videos once i get past that 600mi 8000rpm formality

  • What color bike did you get? I got mine in black. Sweeeeeeeeet ride.

  • I got the blue/white, I couldn't get away from the blue rims. Tough decision though lol

  • Look into stiffening the suspension, it'll work wonders. Not too much, though. Just enough to stop the nose dive when stopping and the high speed compression and rebound (if you take turns very fast, 80+).

  • does it really go 200?

  • 170mph. 200 on here is in Km/h. 200kmh is about 120mph.

  • got a 07 Gixxer6...loving every minute of it.

  • dude i just ordered mine and i think im gonna love it

  • IMPENNA DI GAS IN PRIMA O NO?????

  • great video and great sound

  • Awesome machine! Sounds lovely! Hopefully I will be able to get my first bike soon and it will be a Gsxr!

  • Siamo contenti che il video da noi realizzato sia stato apprezzato in tutto il mondo, Overload Studio.

  • omg passing the corners with 200 kph or mph.

  • that is KM i think top on speed will read is 280-285km but in real speed its only about 250km

  • Holy Gixer Batman! I've a 750 (black) on order too and am now genuinely nervous!

  • Black and Orange here! CAN'T WAIT!

  • have you seen the subdued black ? kinda has the badboy look down pat to go with a badass rider

  • its kinda a ripoff of the cbr600RR graffiti edition

  • Gixxers FTW!

  • g.s.x.r.s rule always have and will be top dog

  • How did you rate it compared to the Kwak, r6 and the Cibber 600's? Looking forward to reviews.

  • just sweet! i have a 750 on order. can't wait until you post the whole test!

  • how much horsepower?

  • stock one has 130-135 horses

  • Hi madam, I'm Adam!
