  • where did you purchase your recovery system from?

  • @happyisthealero that one is actually for automotive systems , and was bought through mac tools , any H.V.A.C. supply house will sale them too ...

  • @towrecker does it needs to be certified if you buy a recovery system, thanks

  • @LUCKY4908 yes you need the certification , without it , if caught doing anything you face 50k + fines , and jail , go to epatest(dot)com and read up , or maybe get certified ...

  • @towrecker thanks a lot you open my rusty mind

  • @LUCKY4908 see how easy it is to get it now lol , but for your own safety take that course seriously , refrigeration is actually very dangerous in many ways !!

  • @towrecker yes I will take it seriously and Ive been starting study it, Ill take the test when Im ready,, Nice Video and thanks again !!

  • @towrecker how do I get certified? an HVAC class?

  • @happyisthealero answer this one question first , do you know refrigeration , what you are doing ? if so there is a way to just get cert , if not you need to do at the least an online class , the cost is the same really either way , it is just a dangerous job , the gasses can kill ya , so I don't wanna tell ya how to just get the card , if you don't know what you are doing , the class online is a couple hours no big deal if you need to do it ... let me know , and I will give ya the info ...

  • @ifishfortarpon I bought that unit second hand from a county sale , as for the waste gas you send it through a hvac supply house for recycle , there are companies that deal with it , as for who they are , or how they do it , my knowledge ends at where I take it to the supply house ...

  • can you re use that gas?

  • @MrBlueroads not really , but yes , they say you can't unless you return it to the same unit , but ... I can use it in something of mine no prob , and I have a big window unit that had a leak from two lines rubbing that I have fixed , so thats where it's going , there should be enough in that tank from others I have scrapped

  • @towrecker i didnt know you could reuse, wow

  • @MrBlueroads well you can't reuse , but ... the gas is still just fine , you follow me right ?

  • @towrecker 10-4

  • @MrBlueroads in other words bullshit , is bullshit lol

  • @towrecker 4-10

  • What keeps air from mixing in the refrigerant? Is there a way it bleeds before you evacuate a system?

  • @More350Power well the unit , unless it has a leak is sealed , the lines , and the clamp pliers , are also sealed till they clamp , the recovery unit pulls vacuum on the line before it is connected , then the recovery unit has a compressor , the comp's suction side is what you hook the ac unit to , it sucks it dry , and deposits it's high side discharge into the recovery tank , which on this unit is in the bottom of it , simple , I have 5 other recovery outfits , that one is just on wheels lol

  • @towrecker Makes complete sense, I wondered. Thanks!
