@AHW214 Why? Because then you didn't need any other peripherals than an antenna to watch the TV, it was available faster because you didn't have to scan the channels first and the picture quality was still decent.

@MrPrompter I guess its just the way technology advances- The trade analogs lower quality but higher ease in setting up for digitals higher quality but lower convenience when it comes to repairs and setup. Its a trade off. I prefer digital and Im willing to go the extra mile to setup a tv with higher resolution and quality in general, along with a dvr. Its like the switch from records to cds.

KCPQ & KBTC are stations that I can no longer watch, where I live, after th switch to digital. There are some shows I miss being able to watch.

I have a similar problem after the switch was made. I am not a big fan of the "digital transition"

The best part about the KCPQ transition is that right before this video was recorded, they played "The Final Countdown" by Europe, HA HA!

My Fox channel KECY, also shut down during "The Morning Show", but at the introduction.
