  • This person is the only one to use economics and facts rather than off-the-cuff emotions to base his argument upon. He has my support.

  • I am an artist. Art is not selling well. I will feel much better if this guy files a report every time he uses a pencil or pen or paints a room in his house. That will assure the markets will open up for my art.

And that is how NAIS will work for the big producers and granny who owns a hen or pot belly pig.

  • I read the reports and seen videos on youtube of the listening sessions being held across the US...the people are overwhelmingly against NAIS! The few for it, who state we need it for the rapid traceback for finding disease I would like to ask this question "Do you really feel your pork or cattle raised in lots in the Dakotas are much safer from disease because i told the govt when and where I rode my horse in Texas?!?!?!?"

  • This man was the only supporter of NAIS to speak. It's quite clear that the only winners in a mandatory NAIS will be the big producers, of which I'm sure he's one. If this insidious program is implemented, it will cause extreme concentrations of livestock production. This will only serve to increase the likelihood of disease outbreaks. The USDA is doing its best to destroy the family farm and small livestock producers.
