  • very well directed and edited. especially the part where the main character is sliding downhill

  • awesome short film, very well thought out i can tell you spent alot of time planning that out

  • COOLIES

  • Good job man, I just started using an Xl 1, but I am new to film making altogether. How do you go about capturing this "film look"? Thanks.

  • Very good film........I esp like that one clip just after you first pull yourself up off the black top road..."the running down the road part was great".......all of your close and tight shots were superb.....the long, across the field shots are what gives us guys a bad name w/o buying some very expensive len's.....torchidman productions.

  • Excellent film. I feel when you can make a film and keep people on the edge of their seat without having to use gore then you have a real talent at this. You have it so please keep it up.

  • Is it just me or did the body look alot like matthew perry?

  • whats the difference between xl1 and xl2, im trying to figer out which one to buy, great video aswell!

  • muy buen trabajo! felicidades

  • dam it! he almost made it! That was a well edited film. Im doing research on what kind of camera to buy. Im a ex News Photog and I have worked with the Canon XL 1 and 2 type S. Also the XL H1. But Im a big fan of the old cameras...plus I dont have 2Gs laying around. Well great work and you had me on the edge of my seat.

  • Cool film

  • Wow! Thank you!

You have inspired me to continue with my idea of making a short film.

And you totally changed my views of videotape!

    Thanks!

  • see how a hot chick loses a bet and has to strip in front of her classmates <b>(_stripAss.com_)<b>

  • very well made... makes no bloody sense but good stuff all the same. And excellent sound design.

  • You effing fucker... Dude that was amazing, what the hell? you really got me to feel for the character. And at first I thought that the whole point of view of the main character was annoying it kinda bothered me, but i sure loved what you've done with it at the end when he;s looking at the dead body. You're really good man and I like the fact that it was all images. and the camera does the xL1 shoot in 24p? like the xl2

  • Oh, for fuck's sake... I was going to jog tomorrow morning...

  • Hi, first of all excellent job. Did you use any kind of filter on your xl1? Or do any kind of color enhancement/correction?

  • See, this video gives me hope. It means that whatever your budget, if you have a little talent, it will show through, and this does in spades. This is what YouTube's all about, period. Not some kid dancing like a twat to the latest pop song. That said, your runner does end up a little overly bloody by the end ;) Anyway, brill!

  • oh, so u shoot in 4:3 (turn off the 16:9 mode on the menu right?) and just pick the 16:9 for the projection. ok thanks alot man now i'll go out and try it see how it turns out

  • dude what kind of camera do u have? and how did u do that time elapsing interval at the beginning, post production or u have the time elapsing feature on the camera? please respond thanks

  • Hi there, shot on canon xl1 mini dv pal. shot about an hour of the sunrise and then captured it using the timelapse feature in adobe premiere. hope this helps

  • yes this does help alot. thanks man but a little more. i have an xl1 too but ntsc. and what adobe premiere u have, pro, pro 1.5, or pro 2.0? and how do u do that panning down with the time lapsing? usually, dont u just keep the camera frame still? thanks

  • hi used premiere 5 i think one before pro to capture. shot the time lapse in 4:3 aspect and tilted digitaly in post as my final aspect was 16:9. so basicall had extra space in the frame for tilting and composition after.

  • nice camera work, stylish direction, good idea stretching 1 person scene to 8mins. 57 seconds, only fault i can say is a think the music could of been more atmospheric, the music dosnt suit it to much. would be better with droning low notes and constant pulse of heart beat. hope this helps i watched it all
