  • @donairprince I do not know why but only can be heard at 240p

  • perfect

  • you sound like a very imaginative person

although perhaps of different race & nationality, I feel that through the way we listen, feel & describe music, we're very similar :)

  • i miss him

  • Maestro Heifitz did vary the speed greatly, and it is much faster in places than I'm used to. Some people have actually called his approach in this recording "cold" and "unemotional," but to me it is a very emotional performance. It's all in the mixture: the quickly played "throw-away" phrases and the sweet, achingly delicate phrases that follow, tell the story. It is so beautiful, it brings tears to the eyes and makes the throat catch.

  • this is just wonderful.... like waking up in a green field with birds, after a warm night.

I like how he played the theme once before the last time... it's not written like that in the music, but it goes so well with the piano part (which is in the music)

also, the piano did some improv in the last few measures that was good

  • Heifetz es muy rudo para tocar una pieza tan delicada

  • So peaceful..beautiful.

  • that's how magical music can be!

  • totally awesome

  • I know completely what you mean.

  • とてもいい!感度したァー!

  • like a girl under the sun on the grass

  • This is nice. It sounds like a Swiss girl milking a cow.

  • exactly what i was thinking

  • it's so wonderful ^^

  • Nice much better than the "Fish Man" (Sarrasanipianocircus), I will stick to violin.

  • God I love this piece. I can play it on classical guitar quite well but, my god, it's better on the violin.

  • this would lift you to a new plateau of being.

  • Ehereal... exquisite .

  • can anybody bring me the music score for this pieace this is my favoutite

  • I played violin for nine years, wow, I want to learn this piece even though I don't play anymore. It's wonderful.

  • The feeling in this piece is very commendable, but I can't say I really like his rubato...

  • Whenever I play, I can just sense the rubato feel...I've always heard it that way...

  • i feel the same way too, i really like the song, but the rubato just ruins it. it's like too fast or something i don't know, it's not right, lol

  • heifetz playing really changed as he grew older, everything just seems to slow down and there is even more soul.

  • Indeed there are few violin pieces like this one that seem so peaceful and melodious. La Berceuse de faure or of course Meditation from Thais. And when they are played by Heifetz, Ferras or Milstein they just become miracles.

  • It sounds wonderful

  • Very nice.
