  • stop playing the neighbors are gonna think someone is getting mugged

  • nice video. nice set.

nothing says metal like champagne sparkle.

  • cool stuff

  • that was pretty sick.i have a question, is that a different tom holder then the STM dw uses?and im getting a zil bel in a few weeks and i know a felt goes underneath it but does a felt go above cause then you might not be able to tighten it?

  • Yeah my DWs were "born" in 1994 when they came standard with RIMS mounting. And yes, I put felt on either side of my zil. I like it tight, because when you blast it won't move around too much. resonation is not effected.

  • Nice man.

    Snare sounds amazing,

  • Great playing man, keep it up!

  • Ugh - completely forgot to ask. How are you finding the DW Bronze snare? I'm thinking pretty seriously about one but can only hear samples on the net, there aren't any of these snares in NZ for me to try. Are you getting that awesome Abe Cunningham/Digital Bath sound out of it?

  • The Solid Shell bronze is one of the most versitle metal snares I have ever played. The sound really depends on the head. Personally I tune mine very high and very tightly, but not enough to choke it. I love that snare. It weighs about 25 pounds though.

  • Thank you very much!

  • what do u think about the 20 vault crash is it really cutting for crashing-riding?

  • Most definitely! That is why I bought it. The Vault Crashes are my personal favorite crashes of all time due to their versatility and cutting complex tones.

  • Wow man, you should record some drums for me ^^ That was just plain awesome, way better than I could ever manage.

  • Hellz yeah dude! You've come a long way since the last time I heard you. Your time seems to be more solid, which yields a stronger groove. The linear playing is sounding really crisp...awesome! Nice chops in the hands too...what have you been doing to develop single stroke rolls? I am currently working my single strokes to the bone.

  • Thank you so much man. I've just started playing drums a bunch more. For a while there I was bigger into guitar but now it's sort of evened out. I bought a practice pad and I play around on it every day with marching sticks. Varying arrangements of "8 on a hand" (though not always 8!) at different tempos have really helped my single speed I think. This video is just sort of a mashup of random crap at the end of a practice session. Thank you for your comments! I'm sorry the audio is balls.

  • Cool man! It's really impressive work especially since you don't focus your entire energy into this particular instrument. Are you on MX at all? I think I'm gonna try and frequent that place in the next few days atleast and catch up. I'll also have to check out your other videos...looks like you have a lot of them. What do you recommend I start with?

  • Any of them really, most all of my videos on here are from this time last year (or earlier) and are Coheed and Cambria covers. I would upload a ton of new ones but my computer doesn't want to overlay video and Audio for some reason. (Windows Movie Maker). Any other programs you know of that do that?

  • Dang dude. I just got some Coheed from a friend, so I'll have to get familiar with that music. That sucks about Windows Movie Maker. That's what I use. I don't know of any other programs :(

  • awesome !! please keep up the amazing covers, esp. our beloved Co&Ca ones!! you really got talent, and i'd love to see more of it ^^ take care !!

  • Thank you! You rock!

  • yess!

  • =D!!!
