yeah im considering a revision in the vid now. to have romana have stepped down as president. Rassilon took over. The Doctors only barrier to use the moment to end the time war was romana. When she dies and he regenerates into his 9th body. The Doctor makes that final move.

i dunno who told u romana was the doctors mother, but Romana was the Doctors friend and companion. Eventually she was elected lady president of gallifrey, and was present at the original negotiations before the war.

Rassilon is one of the founding timelords, but Omega was the creator of the eye of harmony. Rassilon was the first president, but he discovered immortality, which would explain his recent return

as far as i'm aware regeneration is just an amazing biological trait of the timelords. Rassilon did discover immortality as shown in the 5 doctors.

@tardiselliot Regeneration was biologically engineered by high-ranking Gallifreyans, and is in fact what qualifies a Gallifreyan as a Time Lord. Other Gallifreyans, while they may have long lives, are not given the treatment.

iv bin experimenting with a scene like this for a while, i always like it when shows like smallville end with a song and a montage of events, took a while to find a one i felt worked tho,

Brilliant, I think you should do what you know the beeb won't do to a high calibre and this seems to do the job since most people imagine the 8th doctor and his tardis both being radically affected in "the final act" hence, new tardis and new doctor, you have neatly avoided this trap, rejoice in being something enjoyable but different, sort of "This is how it could've happened" rather than trying to pretend "This is how it happened".

well iv got to admit iv explored loads of ways of having him regenerate and change tardis in the final moments but i opted for a more original and different idea that would work eccleston into this a tad more

so ill still hav the regen but around the time romana dies

so the 9th is born in a war and its that persona he needed to finally take the final move and destroy gallifrey

i added a quick shot of mcgann at the beginning, this is sort of the eye showing him his more innocent self

I think you should replace the end Tardis scene, as the 9th doctor looks like he's kind of happy.

originally i had used footage from the aliens in london but that was very obviously a happy scene
