  • I hate the Green one you have. I have the one you have and a smaller one. I dropped a good wad of cash for the Majority Text. Live that one. People can get e-sword for free online. Use kjv+ and you can see the greek with the definition.

  • I enjoy The Youngs Literal Translation...

or Darby but it gets pretty think too.

    Thats a cool bible..

  • i cant find the interlinear bible Jay P Green Jr. any were to buy can you help me?

  • @MJLSOL I bought mine at a bible book store and I think they had to order it. You can see interlinear bibles online at blue letter bible org and you can check online. I googled "green's interlinear" and found it at Amazon. It says it's only around $40, I paid $84. I thought it would have been more now. I got ripped off, but I like having it.

  • thanks for posting

  • Green's interlinear bible looks very interesting.

  • Probably best to use John 10:30. "I and the Father are one". There are at least two others.

    Blessings to all

  • Good information, ty.

  • the interlinear bible sounds wonderful! I bought a new bible this summer (nasb) and I must admit, I'm very disappointed with it.

I am going to read John 17 and pray because that particular topic has plagued me for ages and I keep asking the LORD to show me HIS TRUTH. thanks for posting about that in comments (maybe do thorough series on that topic?) God bless you!

  • I just might have to look into that interlinear bible.

Im curious though, does your interlinear bible use Gods name? Or does it just say "LORD"?

I remember years ago I came across an exegesis bible and it had Yahweh and Yeshua instead of LORD and Jesus.

  • The interlinear says Jehovah and Jesus and lord and God.

  • mine just says king james study bible, but wow that interlinear is awesome

  • I myself study out of the NKJV. But you know what? I came to believe in the trinity from studying out of the NKJV. How do you account for me?

  • The NKJV and the KJV both have one verse added in 1 John 5:7-8. This verse was not in the oldest original manuscripts and it was added to make you believe in the trinity. Read the gospel of John all of chapter 17 and after you read that whole chapter, it will be tought to still think there is a trinity where three are one. In Jn. 17 it says that YOU, oct31st1517, will be part of that "one". It's not just three it's many more and it includes us. We can be part of the family of Yahweh.

  • See what it says for 1John 5:7-8 in the NASB, that's the New American Standard Bible and the English Standard Version, American Standard Version, Darby Translation, all of these render it different from the KJV. In this video I say that the KJV is not perfect. You must have the Holy Spirit helping you when you study. It will guide you and protect you from the lies.

  • I NEVER USE 1 John 5:7 to prove the trinity. Jesus taught it in John 15:26. the writer of hebrews taught God was triune.(Heb 9:14) I don't understand how someone can read the bible and come to any other conclusion then God is triune. Yes, the Holy Spirit who is the 3rd person of the ever blessed trinity has shown the truth to me. You need to repent of your heresy. Today is still the day of salvation.

  • When you show me the word "triune" or "trinity" in the bible, I will become a convert to your new/old religion. Let me ask you again, Did you read John 17, please do. You cannot ready John 17 and still believe in a false trinity. John 17 does not let you have a trinity, it completely nullifies the trinity. Because if the so called trinity is 3 in 1 then in John 17 were it says that you the believer are also 1 with the Father and Son, then that adds up to at least 4 and what about the rest of us?

  • 1st off where is it a principal of bible study that a word needs to be in the bible for a doctrine to be biblical? Do you believe God is omniscient & omnipresent? Where are those words in the bible? Also Jon 17 confirms that God is more than 1 person:

"And now, glorify me, Thou Father, with Thyself, with the glory that I had before the world was, with Thee" (John 17:5)

Jesus had the same nature as His Father. (John 5:18)

This is an essential of the faith.

  • awesome! that's what i want :)

    thanks for the video.

  • My "Bug Out" Bible is a small one similar to yours. It fits nicely in a pocket. Mine is the New American Standard Bible. I also have a Living Bible, but the old stand by will always be the King James Version. Finally, a small Gideon New Testament can often be found in my back pocket at work.

  • Thanks for re-doing. Great info.
