  • good luck man

  • dam that was freaking close xD

  • Did that blade go to town cutting when it took off .

  • Awesome

  • That was the dream shot!!!Close enough to smell em!!!!!Enjot that moose!!!

  • perfect shot

  • That would have been pretty funny if he missed.......

  • @RowMaverick woman

  • @RowMaverick I think he is a she. Look again.

  • Buddy you're lucky he didn't spot you and haul ass towards you.

  • When not in rut or with a calf, moose are pretty docile and have no fear of humans. Where's the sport in "hunting" an animal that will walk right up to you and eat from your hand?

  • @kjhgfvlkj a moose is the most dangerous animal in North America and has the body count to prove it.. walking up to one like it's a petting zoo resident is a good way to become one with the earth..

  • @MrMeanderthal polar bears are the most dangerous. they will actually stalk and kill a human.but i think deer are the dealiest in north america. since they have the most deaths if u include car accidents.

  • This is the ballsiest thing ive ever seen, and the fact that it was a chick. holy shit, ive hunted dangerous game and i dont know if i would let one fly at 5 feet. what a bad assl....DO IT HOME GIRL

  • @jeff35630 I'm a hunter and I'm no red neck. Check out my favorite videos I think they show considerable bandwidth....I'm also a biologist...

  • would have been better if you had jumped on it's back, and u wrestled it to death, now that would have been impressive.

  • for a minuit there i didnt know if you were going to get enough penatration lol

  • Beautiful!

  • How bad would you have sucked at life if you missed? lol

  • im so glad i have a big dick.

  • if only you would have had a spear......

  • that would be vicki of the archers choice good shot

  • Ok. I oversimplified the point to stay within the character count. My point was dogs remain dogs, trees remain trees, and pigs remain pigs. Features certainly change, but the species do not change. Pigs don't eventually branch off and turn into dogs.

  • @TrapDaddy65 That however isn't true, sometimes animals do branch off into a totally different direction. Rabbits and Horses actually have very very similar DNA and very similar bone structures. It doesn't appear so from the surface, but a close look reveals the truth that rabbits and horses bear a common starting point.

  • But if you look at DNA, chromosomes, etc, the differences are VAST! And as far as species evolving over a few generations, only physical traits change (micro-evolution). Genetics don't.

  • @TrapDaddy65 : False. Much of our genetic code is shared.

"Humans have an inter-species genome-similarity of 99.5% or more.

-Chimpanzees are 96% to 98% similar to humans,

    - Cats have 90% of homologous genes with humans, 82% with dogs, 80% with cows, 79% with chimpanzees, 69% with rats and 67% with mice.

    - Cows (Bos taurus) are 80% genetically similar to humans."

Don't even get me started on mice. And yes, I do have sources you can read if you want them.

  • @TrapDaddy65 : Secondly, saying "Only physical traits change. Genetics don't" is one of the most ignorant things one could say. Physical traits are a Direct Result of something's genetic code. A tree is a tree because of its genome, a dog is a dog because of its genome, and the different "breeds" of dog all look and behave the way they do BECAUSE of their GENETICS. Do me a favor and google "Glowing pigs." That physical trait is because of genetic manipulation.(Excuse the caps for emphasis)

  • @TrapDaddy65 Actually the differences are very small. You share 90% of your DNA with strepp bacteria.

  • Damn! I missed!

  • that bow is damn quiet

  • Congratulations, very nice shot. Obviously missed the shoulder and penetrated both lungs.

  • 5 yards away and you hit the shoulder. The arrow didn't even penetrate both lungs. Archery moose hunting should be banned. You guys are fags.

  • Damn. That close you had to wonder if the bull was going to turn and do a number on somebody. That was a good day of hunting.

  • I am not a hunter, but I appreciate the coolness and expertise that allowed this bowhunter to make such an impressive kill shot. Outstanding cinematography, This looks to good to be true so it is all the more impressive. Hunters deserve their trophies, and animal species deserved to be conserved. Hunters are champions of maintaining reasonable species populations and their required habitats. It is a symbiosis that should be considered as positive by knee jerk so called environmentalists.

  • @nextari Your a dipshit. If the ancestors that came before you relied on roots and berries for survival.... Well lets just say you wouldn't be here today. Their skills in hunting wild animals allowed them to survive through the ice age. But then again you don't seem very educated, so I guess you wouldn't know about that.

  • @slpfighter07 That's a chick and her name is Vicki Cianciarulo, from archer's choice and the choice...

  • Nicely done .

  • Awesome kill!!! and what luck to have a big bull moose come that close...Good Job!!!

  • Good shot placement, Have you ever had moose stew , Its the best, Very ethical job , congrats

  • Awesome shot and vid!!

  • wow nice shot .. perfect?

  • Hunting is not all about the kill. We do selectively kill. I have not known one person who hunted, shot, hit, and never looked for the animal. Those people are not hunters. Serial killers kill people without remorse and have bleeding hearts fight for them on the publics dime. The same people who tell us hunters are murderers. I eat the animals I shoot. I thank God for them before the hunt, when I shoot, and at every meal. I do not push my values on you, do not put push yours onto us.

  • @saltieman71 I agree, but I shoot animals for fun... I don't know how to cook them and don't want to learn, i'm fine with being a vegetarian. But i simply kill them, don't know why there's such a big fuss about slaughtering animals and i don't care. Just do what you want, you only live once, God knows those animals only live once.

  • @saltieman71 fuck you and your god. Drop the god shit, and I'll have some respect for you.

  • @Polybun somehow i think you got the wrong idea from his message... -.-

  • great shot, at first glance i was thinking you were going to shoot it in the shoulder ( what i would have done if rifle hunting ) but you shot in a much softer spot

  • thanks!, i was always sitting here going how do they get it out of there but now i know!

  • i would have laughed my ass off if he would have missed

  • I think that is Vickie from the choice hunting show. Ralph and Vickie rock.

  • nice kill, had to have been scentless and super quiet to get an animal that close while on the ground. congrats

  • Kinda anti climatic. Does a moose this size even die from that?

  • @Pendumish it doesn't matter how big you are. if you have a gaping hole sliced in your heart and or lungs you will die. haha

  • ive always wondered how people get their kills out of the woods. like do they come back on ATVs and drag it out or what? can someone answer my question?

  • @SuperBingbongz Most of the time in situation like this the animal is quartered and boned out and the meat, hide and head are carried out one your back or they will bring horses and mules into get the meat. Its a lot of work. If your doing it yourself your probably talking at least a 2-4 trips in and out and hopefully a bear or something doesn't beat you back to it. In some cases you may be able to get an ATV to it.

  • @SuperBingbongz Sure I can tell you how it's done. I've done it at least a dozen times. You first have to gut the animal and than you skin it and depending on how far you are from your vehicle you either cut the animal into quarters or you quarter it and than bone it out and pack it out on your back. Of course some people use arv's or horses

  • holy fuck

  • Did you see that arrow work it done a 10 inch cut inside at least nicely done -lucky he did`nt turn at you though sorry but thats how an arrow is supposed to do it`s job .

  • how dose that kill him? i've never hunted but wouldent u want to shoot him in the head?

  • @xxXXRICHIEBOYXXxx The head is a very low percentage shot. Thick skull and lots of things to hit that wouldn't kill quickly. If he hits him in the jaw or nose the animal could live for days dying horrible death. The shot that was taken was a high percentage lung, heart shot. Take out these and the the animal will be dead within seconds. Really the biggest target to aim at as well. Head shots are never a good idea unless your talking a charging animal with intention to kill you.

  • @frantic29 thanks for the info

  • Wow what a beautiful animal....Mmm now it's dead.

  • That took some raw nerves shooting at 5 feet. If that moose had charged, he could have killed you before his lungs filled with blood. Asking, did you hit the heart too? Clean kill-shot either way.

  • @ekjjr1962 thats what im sayin, that moose was huge,i would have been nervous with a rifle, pretty tough i would say :)

  • gotta love all the hippy tree huggers that watch these videos and whine and complain. with that being said. im gonna go sit on my watch and shoot a poor innocent deer. why? because im fuckin hungry.

  • omg at the close i would be scared if it turned and charged me

  • Wow - moose must be pretty damn sturdy not to get a clean pass-through at that range!!

  • @Sandstorm9562 Nah.. it was a girl.

  • This wasn't him! I saw it on tv! What a joke

  • Moose meat is a thousand times tastier than beef. And it is way leaner as well. I wouldn't shoot one myself but if anyone wants to drop some by I'll appreciate it

  • Holy shit that was spectacular!

  • Comment removed

  • All I can say is WOW! That is a magnificent bull. My hats off to you sir. Too bad all the douche-bags have to come and make ridiculous comments.

  • I used to date a girl who wouldn't allow me to hunt-even though she wasn't a vegetarian. She even had me convinced that killing animals was a bad thing. Since she's gone by the wayside I've returned to hunting and god did I miss it. I mostly hunt grouse because I love eating them. Nothing like going out early in the morning and walking 10-15km out in the bush. If I ever get with another women who dislikes the fact that I hunt, I know what I'm going to choose this time. Sorry honey

  • @juzu4me I feel your pain. I have a husband who won't hunt and I want to hunt so badly but never been. It sucks.

  • @slapurmommaz To hell with your husband then-come up here and we'll go hunt a few birds. His loss :)

  • WOW thats all I can say was hunting today and the bull that charged me was not nearly as big, nor was he that close, and I was scared well needless to say I didn't need to check my shorts cause I couldn't even do that. Great steady hand and great kill. AND for all the tree huggers out there yes film it if you can because the chance to help keep these animals in check and healthy is a once in a lifetime chance. If they are not thinned there become to many and starve..

  • Some people are morons and do not understand the sport of hunting...that was a once in a lifetime shot and video!!! Great shot...better video...great meat!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How far did it travel till it dropped?

  • I just wanted to say to all the guys saying how this isn't a clean kill and that these two hunters are just doing it for the trophy....

How do you know that they aren't going to eat that moose?? I can go to a grocery store and buy food with the job I have and not ever have to hunt. But if I can get a moose tag and kill a moose then I'll do it simply because I can save so much money on meat AND it's 100% chemical free, clean, good tasting meat. These guys take it a step further by using bows....

  • nice calm bow shot,,,you did great,,be proud of your hunt,,,fair chase fair game,,,and meat on the table

  • What a beauty!

  • did you have to change your pants after that?

  • did it die?

  • Your hunting for pure trophy its obvious you don"t need the meat, one guy to film one guy to kill get a life.

  • @258fritz that had nothing to do with my question

  • @258fritz let's see you shoot an amazing video like that...you would still be running away seeing a huge beast that close...let alone shoot or tape the shooting...someone taping creates memories...you create bs

  • You have no idea what you are missing out on. Love is the most awesome incredible thing there is. It is the point of our very existance. I'm talking about the kind of love that makes you want to revere, adore and protect animals. the tremendous appreciation i have to just even gaze at such an animal is so profound. The shallow thrill of killing is a pale pale reflection of that love of life. it's a desperate attempt at "catching it" and owning it. It falls tragically short.

  • There is soooo much more to LIFE. Just try even breathing fully, deeply, for 5 minutes. I dare you. Exhale all the way. Let go of all your fear and hate and anger. Go deeper. There is a place right there, right within you that holds all the best feelings you could ever imagine. Peace,Love, Compassion, Space, Freedom. So much more than anything you can "do". Once you re-discover this, you will hold tremendous respect for all life.

  • @nextari wow really its the basic food chain were at the top and we eat to survive. The meat isnt wasted. if you are such a fucking activist why the hell are you watching hunting videos.

  • @calco77 no, you are not at the top. nowhere near the top. you are suffering somewhere near the bottom. that's obvious by your self centeredness and anger. try telling it to a bengal tiger, you stringbean.

  • @nextari if tigers are above us on the food chain, how come there are 7 billion of us and only 1,000 of them?

  • @thebreeshboy because they taste delicious !!!!

  • You're lucky it wasn't the moose in the other video where a guy shoots a bow at it at close range. That moose knew exactly who did it and fucking CHARGED as soon as it happened. That would've been your ass.

  • so, exactly what is the point of that? to murder something beautiful to prove what???

heartless killer. you should be hung and fed live to tigers. you will be punished for your cruelty.

  • @nextari whats the point in a tree hugger watching a hunting video?? and what exactly should she be punished for? do you think your ancestors ate mcdonalds and kashi bars?...dumbass

  • @roughneck6103 Exactly, I have moose meat in my freezer right now.

  • @nextari humans are meant to be omnivorous. thats why we have both molars and incisor teeth, and why we have forward facing eyes. basic evolution. read a book you ill-informed tool.

also, the reason most people hunt is because they actually eat the animals they kill. you've obviously never been hunting so stfu

  • @thebreeshboy Taking of an animal, when necessary for food, should be practiced with ultimate respect and reverence for the animal. It's obvious you rely on books for you knowledge. Another "institutionalized" rationalist. Try living in nature with nothing for even a week, and then lecture me about how amazing, smart, and intelligent you are. I feel the blunted edge of the tool of your mind. More like a blackjack then a forest jedi. Thump on, blackedyjackster. (joke) Or try feeling more.

  • @nextari i agree that nature should be respected. i never once said it shouldn't be. however, not once in this video is the hunter "disrespectful". also, how does saying i believe animals should be hunted for food make me an "institutionalized" rationalist? and i'm nit insensitive, i'm just tired of people crying themselves to sleep when an animal is killed. sometimes it is tragic when an animal dies (i.e. a pet) but in this case it's just part of life that things get killed and eaten.

  • @thebreeshboy yeah right, you ate one meal of that person you killed, then stuck the rest in the freezer, then threw it out to make room for your next thrill kill. I say person for a very good reason. The people who worked with Koko the gorilla said "there is no difference that we can tell between her and us". Look it up, lamebrains animals have a right to life, and we have the power to recognize and perceive that. If you don't, it says something about you, not animals.

  • @nextari ok, so if there is no difference between humans and animals can you please go bitch about killing them for food to all the lions, bears, sharks, crocodiles, and every other carnivorous animal that has ever lived on this earth instead of directing all of your non-sensical logic at me?

  • @thebreeshboy The difference is that humans have compassion. a love for all things which exists in the heart. When the mind eclipses the heart, this sensitivity is lost. When you harm others you harm yourself. Watch "The Iceman Confesses" to see this portrayed. When you are old and lonely, you'll look back and understand this, maybe. Maybe you'll realize that you are lonely now. Maybe you will stop harming others, and start realizing your birthright, to feel love for all things.

  • @nextari Your house is infested with termites. Guess it's time to move, eh?

  • @ekjjr1962 well, that's actually a very interesting point....which i would enjoy speaking about with someone who still had radio contact with their remaining brain cells. the way in which you just package all your hate and judgement together into a cluster bomb of human misery clearly reveals that you have lost contact long ago and have no real regard or recognition of true dialogue. have a nice day.

  • That reply was directed to breeshboy, not nextari. I tried to cancel but it posted anyway.

Now, back to my rib-eye steak!

  • @ekjjr1962 nice f**k up. i commented anyway 'cause i didn't see you f**ked up till after. hope you've got better trigger control than you do on your computer. ha ha!

  • @nextari Why are you "staring" out fuck? Will your mommy be upset at you using a bad word?

  • @nextari I love animals. I just love eating them more.

  • @nextari Have the right to life? Stay in school kiddo.

  • @thebreeshboy there is no such thing as evolution

  • @thismrx can you explain your opinion? i'd be interested to know what your reasoning is

  • @thebreeshboy explain to me how if evolution exists. If you believe in it you must believe us humans came from monkeys and we walked on our fours at some time, and over the course of many many many years we began to stand upright and our facial features changed to what we know to be now, then why are there so many monkeys left that humans, granted the transition wouldn't probaly leave them to be totally extinct, but there are a lot of them left....

  • @thebreeshboy and they are not as developed as much as they should be compared to us in your belief in "evolution", in fact they look nothing like us, please explain the big gap in your theory...God created the heaven and the earth.

  • @thismrx i did not once deny the existence of God. I believe that God did create everything:including the process of evolution. evolution has been observed in species over just a few generations, so imagine what could happen over millions of years. that is a fact, and to deny it would just be incorrect. also, to say that humans bear no resemblance to monkeys and apes is preposterous! yes there is the major intellectual difference, but in terms of anatomy and physiology the similarities are great

  • @thebreeshboy so are pigs

  • @thismrx you just proved my point. if all species were created totally separately, we would not share those physical similarities. we are obviously related in some distant way if we share certain physical attributes

  • @thebreeshboy You are a fucking moron then. Grow the fuck up and bury those childish beliefs. there is no god.

  • @Polybun prove it! you can't.

Examining actual fact, you cannot deny that there is.

Problem is too many religions don't base their teachings on factual bible accounts or logic.

  • @rabbitslayer the bible is factual its a fairy tale you blitherng idiot

  • weird looking kitchen

  • 10x!!!! Sweet shot

  • way to not shake like hell and get "moose fever". Great shot and great bull

  • Fantastic shot!! Behind scapula and through both lungs!! Be on the ground in two minutes or less!!!

  • Awesome shot. Great composure.

  • nice moose. that beast was chaseing some tail with its head down, looks like it was hit in the shoulder. the arrow didnt go in very far. what happen did u track it? that would be intense.

  • could have gotton a headshot easily . Is it illegal to kill it or what? Not to take away from your credit. just curious maybe you could have aimed closer to the head?

  • @pureefficient fool

  • @pureefficient

You never aim for the head when bow hunting. Lungs are soft and easily penetrated, and always fatal. A HUGE target.

  • Why can't I get this lucky.....

  • Looks like a big ouch & an infection. Did you track it down and kill it?

  • This beautiful animal is a lot more dignified than these bunch of hunting hicks! Lol.

  • Kinda shitty you had to sit there and shoot at point blank range. I'm all for hunting and everything but really? That's about as lazy as it gets.

  • Ye, ye, fuck you all. Executing animals... Fuckin lamers.

  • I'm not sure if I could keep my cool as much as she did. Nice job!

  • You couldn't ask for a better shot than that. From one lady hunter to another, Congrats on the moose.

  • So is it better to shoot for the lungs/heart or head? My understanding is that killing it with a headshot would be the quickest way but obviously theres a lot more room for error. I dont know much about hunting so just doing some research xD

  • @mrtie16 The best analogy for a broadhead arrow is a flying butcher knife, sharpened on both sides, no handle and flying in excess of 150 mph. It kills by creating massive bleeding. Archers target the area that will bleed an animal quickly and is not protected by a lot of bone. Hence the lungs. A heart shot is lethal, but a small target. Liver shot animals are dead animals, but it'll take a while. Bowhunters do NOT go for the brain or neck, dammit.

  • @Darthbelal Thanks dude, apprieciate it. But surely from this range if it turned broadside and you could hit the eye would that not be better? (Assuming of course all other variables arent taken into consideration, just a straight up would it be better if you could)

  • Fuckin lame pussies... You lure him with female sounds and you shoot him point blank. Fuckin lamers.

  • @lachitareptilian Lol, If you knew what the fuck you were talking about you would know that is not a "female" sound, but a sound of a bull moose. Hahahahahaha Dumb Fuck!!!!

  • @lachitareptilian says the guy behind a computer... at least theyre using bows..

  • All you people saying a bow isn't good enough, gun head shots, neck shots. Any animal hit with the penitration and pin point accuracy that this one was hit is going down. There is no better kill zone. Any other shot is a big risk of losing and maiming the animal. In the neck you have one big vein and a spinal chord, very easy to miss both, a head shot could graze the skull or hit them in the jaw and they would starve to death. The lungs are big, they mix air with blood, lose either and it's over

  • Very professional, no brush in the way, he was in the perfect place, perfect position, very nice, clean, patiant, what looked like a double lung heart area shot. Hope you eat every bit of that animal, the best lean meat going. Don't care for trophy hunters, or thrill kill, sorry. Eat what you kill. He had as much of a chance of getting you as you did him. Nice shot.

  • wow thats awesome, i probably woulda been shaking, that must have been so cool to be that close

  • and again, i'm basing my comments on the things I've seen from bow hunters in my area. Maybe where everyone else is located, they have magical arrows that have more penetrating and take-down power. I just see no need to cripple an animal when it's not necessary. This animal in the video could have been dropped where it stood with a shot to the head and not crashed off through the woods to potentially never be seen again.

  • @TheJwilson116 If you think that bull lived more than 30 seconds and didn't leave a blood trail a blind man could follow you're on glue. To the OP, thanks for sharing!!

  • @whiteynut THANK YOU! People underestimate just how deadly archery equipment really is.

  • I've shot plenty of big game and unless it's a great distance, i only go for head and neck shots. Otherwise, I'll shoot for the engine room, and yes, I've had animals run off on me before as well. I started when I was just 6-7 yrs old with a BB gun shooting squirrels on my grandparents farm to shooting Taliban from dug-in positions. I just feel that the use of the bow is a step backwards that does more harm to animals than it needs to...

  • @TheJwilson116 As 20 yrs as aHunters Ed Instructor and 50 yrs of hunting has taught me, Hunting real critters is no place for macho BS. THE only ethical kill zone is exactly where that arrow was placed. That animal was dead and didn't know it!!!!!

  • Bow hunters suck

  • I think both views hold a good point. But that was a very nice shot! but how did the moose not see the guy holding the camara?

  • At the 18 second mark you can almost hear the moose saying "Oh crap!". Nice video

  • Comment removed

  • very brave shot. but why would he do that? it doesnt look like it did the moose any more but pain, and certainly didnt kill it :p

  • @TheJwilson116 you are retarded. It sounds like you have no idea what you are talking about. Even if you shoot an animal with a gun in the same spot as a bow, you will get the same result every time. stupid people like you are a disgrace to hunting

  • never seen a picture of the moose after it was shot...probably because it ran off and was never seen again..just another case of some idiot hunter crippling another moose with a arrow. it should be illegal...we've adanced far enough, use a damn gun like everyone else so it is killed right away. you could have dropped that thing where it was standing with gun and not have to chase it through the woods...morons.

  • @TheJwilson116 you r the idiot. You can ask a wildlife biologist or a vet or a person thats hunted for years how far that moose is gonna run and trust me he is not wounded. Thats a fatal shot. He might run 30yards. Ive never dropped a moose where it stood with a rifle ever because i didnt hit it in the heart. But they dont go far.

  • @wop182 I've been hunting since I was 7 or 8 yrs old...I know how to kill an animal properly...and it's not with a bow and arrow. If you've never dropped an animal where it stands before, they you're the one that needs to be educated on anatomy and shot placement...maybe a few lessons at the range. I've seen too many animals run all day with an arrow in them to have any faith in them...it results in more crippled animals then dead ones...just more food for the predators.

  • @TheJwilson116 Im tired of u commenting. Ive shot big bulls and had them run 30 yards with a hole in there heart. You r just a hippy pretending to be a hunter. An arrow is more than sufficiant for bringing down a moose.

  • @TheJwilson116 so what happens when you shoot an animal with a gun and it doesnt drop? I hunt all seasons here in iowa and i've seen more animals wounded with a gun and not recovered than i have with a bow

  • @clovenrick Good comeback.

  • What was the point in that other than causing it pain.

  • that moose was like "you know what? i think ill kill my self today...OH HUNTER where are you so i can let u get a more than perfect shot on me" geez that was close!!

  • Too bad the moose didn't turn and run the other way, right over the hunter.

  • Very nice shot :)

  • <
