Just finished the demo... LOVE it... Alyn Shir is fucking awesome. It was 45 minutes but was so much longer since dialogue makes it pause. So much stuff to do. I got an ICE HAMMER and beat the shit outta everyone... think I'll be a Sorcery/Might class. Though finesse is boss as fuck with daggers... outside of stealth that is. So many things.

A must buy for me now but I'll have to wait till after Mass Effect 3 and FFXIII-2. I'm gonna go play the demo again... :D

i honestly do not see what some other people see in this game, all it is a complete ripoff of some great game, in some parts for example it looks just like skyrim, when pick locking, reading a book and sneaking, something original please.

Dude, the only way in which these games are even SLIGHTLY similiar is the combat. And even there, there are a lot of differences.

Although I must admit that this trailer DOES look a lot like Demon's Souls. But honestly, check the actual gameplay out, it's very different. Maybe you'll be interested.

A little, the magic attacks seem to add some depth to the fighting system, which is then again destroyed by QUICKTIME-EVENTS. I was so angry about the "stealing" thing because I love Demons Souls for its dark, grown-up world and the simple but heavy-feeling combat, thats how I like my rpgs. I used to play WoW too, lame graphic but awesome gameplay. Kingdoms of Amalur looks like a rather arcade-like game with WoW-like graphics. I might rent it for one or two days though ;)

The only quicktime events that I've seen were those faithshift kills. As long as they don't occur too often, I think I'll love them.

I'm also quite the fan of bright, colourful fames, so I have high hopes for this game.

I would say this is going to beat Skyrim. But we both know sales wise, that won't happen, and you can't really compare this and that even though Rolston helped make both of them. But I can say, I guarantee this game will have a greater sense of adventure, than any other RPG game ever made. I've seen many of KOA's videos, got multiple mags on it, & surfed many sites. I've done my gamework. Fanboy? Hell yes.

Actually I think that's exactly how someone would run wearing a heavy armour like that. People needed cranes in medieval times to actually lift those full-plate armours. It's so heavy on the legs that he can't lift them normally... it seems the animators have brains.

But what I do think is kind of silly is that in the beginning of the vid they show the guy jumping around in that thing, but when he runs towards the monster gravity suddenly turns normal (apart from the HUGE maul)
