to change the CD key go into your user the library then perferences look for a file "com.macsoft.halo.plist then trash it then run halo and it will ask for a key again

Hold down k, and then press the Halo icon in your dock, it will then ask you for a new serial, :) hope it helps.

i have an problem i downloaded Halo universal binary and it opens normal but at the beginning of the first launch of halo there was an window where i could do some settings and changed something then the first level didnt worked fast and it was very slow how can i reopen this window when i tapped "do not show" again?

delete this, if you had a campaign save it will erase it but it will let you enter your serial again, i had this same problem

when you click halo hold the K key on the keyboard

it should pop up a little window where you can enter a serial key

I think if you're using the same serial number as someone else on that server it doesn't work. WHich is why you can make the game, because you're there first.

its easy all u need to do is use appzapper itll delete all that halo has. u then reinstall and itll ask u for one. 100% guaranteed. i promise

u have to get an app that will remove all the files from ur comp. so it is like you have never had it or you internet is just bad

You change it by going to your Library, go to preferences, and delete the halo stuff and you could re-enter your S/N

you have to change your cd key

to change your cd key go to users>library>preferences>halo preferences

my defualt open thing for halo preferences is microsoft graph for some reason so i cant open it and change it. Can someone tell me what i need to use to open it?

Right click. Click open with. Then choose "other" and look for textedit. But you're not supposed to open it. You're supposed to trash it and start halo again, where they'll ask you for the CD key.

To change your serial, find a file "Halo Preferences". That's where they store the key. If you delete that it will probably work. It could screw it up, though.

@NDSMASTER8 it does. it just have to be founded. As in you have to click HALO in bold and click register or something like that. I don't use Halo so I don't know about it.

Ok so im trying to download halo but whenever i try to start install halo on my mac, it says this

"halo demo needs at least 150.00 mb of free disk space. free up some space on your local disk and then re launch halo."

what is this? what is the local disk i need? is it supposed to be a free disk or do i need the actual game? please help somebody

Some of my friends had that problem with the installer for the demo as well. All that you have to do is drag the installer to the desktop and then run it. This should solve your problem so long as you have 150.00 MB free on your Hard Drive for install!

OH!! I know how to re-enter your serial!

do a search for "halo"....

delete all the folders named "halo", or something thereabouts.

if you made folders yourself named "halo", don't throw those away

scroll down from sub categories, application, documents, (etc.) until you reach "halo preferences" delete that too.

I figured it out. Its gay cause you cant buy halo for mac anymore enless you wanna buy it from ebay for $100. I wish i could buy a 4x4 serial key for my halo, its pissing my off cause I called both microsoft and apple(macsoft) and they both just act like halo for mac never existed.

If you go to User/Library/Preferences and look for a file called "com.macsoft.halo.plist" you will be able to change ur CD Key. You just need to look in the text for it and then type the correct one in its place. Make sure you back up the file before you do it tho in case you make any mistakes.
