Wilderbeast say's to other wilderbeast what are you talking about ian't a wilderbeast i am one of those stripey things over there geez. Ha stupid ass animal it is.
Is that "Wildebeast" a Cape Buffalo? I wish the narrator mentioned unlike Zebra or Gazelle, those things are very dangerouse to lions, being much larger and having horns. As to the title of this being "brutal", "ravage" and "devour"; I am the same way with short ribs. Give the lions a break, beef is good and some just like it a little more rare then others.
@Morgethein - if you break a TV, is the signal gone too? if you get a new tv, will the signal still have all the same channels? thats what our consciousness is.... our bodies may break but there will always be that signal
@1androo2 interesting theory...but I'm afraid it's not even qualifying as a theory, since there is no evidence to support it...so it's an opinion...YOUR opinion.
@xM82A1 strength isn't important when you've got the entire family; besides, could you and YOUR family, or better, you on your own, take down a wilderbeast with just your teeth and nails? I'd pay to see that! Lions are pretty strong, they take down prey twice their size and strength. They just need a little help to kill something big enough to feed the family; if someone old enough wants food, they gotta help get it.
Also, some lions make meals of crocs...just sayin' :)
ive watched amillion of these ive never seen such a violent pride for gods sake the cubs blind in one eye ive watched cubs tugging on grown ass males piece of meat and him not so much as snarl
Im surprised this narrator doesnt say, "After the lions are done, the wildebeest gets up to join the herd without a scratch. Yes its all happy, happy, happy times out here on the plains! Wheeee!"
Welcome to the stark truth ... Nature doesn't coddle, it doesn't feel pity. Life and death, people, that is the name of the game. However harsh it may be, it is also the truth we fear to accept.
@senka2578 it's not really that stark lol. i mean it might be for a 6 year old but its no big deal compared to what people do. they do things a lot worse than animals are capable of.
This video's narrator gives it the wrong atmosphere, and its title looks like it was written for 13 year old boys. What a travesty against nature and National Geographic.

It's amazing how we as humans share similar traits to these lions. Instead of competition over physiological needs, we fight over social satiation.
