I am on the process of restoring my gas tank for my 73 econoline van. I find this video very informative and helpful for first time restoring tank just like my self. The POR15 tank repair kit cost me $75 and another $45 for the rust preventive paint for the exterior. overall, my spending is $180 aprox, this type of restoring tank should last another 25 years. thanks

what kinda cleaner do you use for internal cleaning?

@187lazyjoker The kit I use from POR comes with a cleaner called "Marine Clean." It works really well.

@187lazyjoker you can always use white spirit and some bolts to remove the rust!
