Normally always a ten for my write style, but now it is... a kind of bolt, and I was always for the classic style! ;P

Working with your board at a more acute angle will help you with ink flow and give you better contrast between 'thicks' and 'thins'.

Experimenting with ink consistency is another area to examine.

Ink sold as 'calligraphy ink' does not always have the best flowing quality

desired to produce good letters. Gouache is a good medium to use and much less expensive than the so-called calligrapy ink bought from art shops. Buy artist's grade as this will give you greater covering power - more pigment.

I taught myself in 1 hour, my mum found my sisters calligraphy set in the attic so I played with it and I've pretty much mastered it,hehe I love the book, I didn't read it but I cpoied the letters :)
