@mustangcobain65 I was at that show too ! Last night , Creed was Incredible !!! The sound was very good . Evry guy in the band . Remember when they came back for an encore Scott said " we all agree this was the best stop on our tour so far" ? I know he could say that at every show , just seemed sincere last night . The crowd was amazing ? Your take ?
I dunno who is singing the main chours with Scott but hes doing a better job than Scott himself. Dam Scott just sucks now. Truly Creed "WAS" one of the greatest bands PERIOD.
@BiteMyTongue1: The audio changes @2:40 because I changed direction of the camera as Scott came out onto the ramp and the microphone on the front of the camera is no longer facing the amps on stage. And yes, he does say god damn score @2:35, @3:01, and @3:26.
Awesome performance and much respect to them for pulling that guy in the wheelchair up on stage, being in a wheelchair myself that makes me have LOTS more respect for bands like this, god bless our soldiers and a big thank you to the guy that got pulled onto the stage for what he has done for this country!!!!!
I was at this concert...I have seen Creed a total of about 13 times ranging from Humn clay tour and Opening night in Georgia on the Weathered tour. This was by far one of the most exciting concerts...just to see them back together was awesome....Rock on guys...especially Mark!!!
So awesome how they welcomed that guy on stage. This tour is really showing a humbled, appreciative side of Scott Stapp. When I saw them live, and in videos like these, he seems to really be appreciating his band members and the crowd, not taking it for granted this time around.
Couldn't agree more on how awesome that was and Scott does look more humbled and appreciative about things this time around, I've saw a few videos where he looks over at Mark and they shoot a smile at each other like "we're actually back to having fun again", just hope it stays that way
I was at this show, thanks nibbanafamily for posting these wonderful videos! The bands that you missed were called Kingsfoil and Like A Storm. I liked Like A Storm, they were pretty good. This was my favorite part of the Creed preformance though. I also liked how the were passing the American Flag around, got a good picture of Scott on stage with the flag in front of him and a little girl on her daddy's shoulders in front of the flag. God Bless our Troops!!!
actually they are not opening for creed all tour only select venues. check creeds website or myspace and you'll be able to see what tour dates they will be at. other dates they are letting bands that win a contest for those venues opening for them
you can find all the info just by doing a online search for the concert date your interested in. sure we will see video of those dates they do open for them sooner or later up on you tube. no worries
I was just at the DTE concert in MI on the 25th (best one ever by the way) and the band that opened for Creed was called "Like a Storm" they were really good. I hope I answered your question though I dont know if I did or not.
Haha! Good one. I meant I hadn't heard of either of the two bands that actually opened for Creed - not Hoobastank or Staind. If you took a second and looked at my videos, you would see I actually shot video of Staind with Shinedown in concert just last month. Thanks for the laugh.
We arrived after the second opening act went off, and since I didn't see them I can't comment on their performance. I follow the music industry pretty closely and I had never heard of either band. It's possible Creed is picking up different opening acts for different legs of their tour, because like you said Hoobastank are joining them on 9/2. Whoever it is, doubtful you will have heard of them.
Me and my wife drove 5 hrs to see this show and that was the best part of the show to see them pull that soldier up on that stage was incredible. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and it was tocuhing to see that. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
That's awesome! I think a lot of us were wondering what happened to him after the show. Can you tell us more... both about the experience backstage and your husband and the friend with the leg? Were they injured in the line of duty?
Yes, they are both combat wounded soldiers. My husband was wounded in Iraq, not exactly sure about where the other was wounded.
I wasn't backstage with my hubby, but he met the families and said everyone was wonderful. When I got to meet the band, they were in a hurry, but were excited to meet the vets and their families. Wonderful guys! Everyone from our group had such a wonderful time, and were proud to meet these fantastic guys! Thanks for asking!
I don't know about Shinedown but 11 month ago Scott performed in the Middle East in various locations and in the Persian Gulf onboard my husband's ship. Scott even has family serving our country.
Yes, since Scott made that AFE Tour he seems that he's got thay mentality of what being a military is. Shinedown made an AFE Tour a few years ago when they were really Shinedown and not Brent Smith and his back up band.
EROCK posted on Twitter they had just visited a military hospital so maybe they had brought them in this night for the show. They were so amazed EROCK said that even injured they wanted to be back in service of the US.
I was there too....you could see in their facial expressions that they wanted nothing more to be where they were...when they were...playing for us. It was a sick show!
I was on the left side of the stage about 2 rows back from the wheelchair guy, he was a disabled marine, that his friends hosted up onto stage, not just some ''lucky'' guy. It was an awesome moment.
I'm not discounting his disability or his service to his country. But by all counts, he was a lucky guy to get pulled up on the stage. After he got pulled up, two other guys (probably his buddies) kept waving their military IDs at Scott hoping to get pulled up too. Last month I saw the same thing at the Shinedown concert and Brent pulled up a soldier on stage.
Nibbanafamily...I was just correcting the comment about you saying that he was just some dude crowd surfing. It was an awesome moment for him to get pulled up on stage....thats all. I just disagree that is was a random "crowd surfing thing" thats all :-)...i enjoyed the show....hope you did as well :)
