Leopard tanks are awesome thanks to German Engineering. The leopards guns are the best tank guns in the world and that is why they put them in an Abram Tank.
I think every european country has it´s own advantage in military meanings. Germany has its engineering, Sweden, Denmark, Greek and Holland its seafaring, GB and France its infantry and the rest do what they can do. No one want to challenge each other. @5T34LTHcamoT4NK I don't think that's physically possible... light are wave lengths, you can deflect light but I don't think you can actually bend it. It would take an incredible amount of energy. Maybe something in comparison to a black hole maybe.

The truth is, if not for the americans, the europe of today would all be speaking german. Britain survived long enough coz of supplies from america, and the american's entry in the western theatre pulled back enough german troops from the russian front to give stalin a breather. @moepippy No they use Panzer-I to Panzer-6 and their co-called superior panzers such as Pz5 are bullshits because they are unreliable. A Pz.6B King Tiger tank requires maintaince after travelled each 100km so don't expect the Leopard piece of shit can be much better. The winner tanks are those "inferior" tanks such as T-34s and Shermans, not any of those Nazi Panzers(neither WW2 panzers nor modern panzers).

@moepippy the leopard 1 MBT was introduced in 1965, the first leopard 2 in 1979. the german army had several tanks in WWII which were nicknamed after feral cats like the Panther (Pz.V) and Tiger (Pz.VI) but no leopard. but i think there was one in development... however it isnt related to the modern leopard tanks.

@nsx4life2008 It is obiously a Pz5 can win a dual w/ T-34 or Tin can Sherman. However, in the real battles, they can overwhelmPz5 w/ sheer number.Never mention Pz5's poor reliability. There's are two prefect example of "Zoo Killers" the Su-100 and ISU-152. Their guns can take out the best German cats in one hit. The 100mm gun of Su100 was the gun of T54/55 since the WW2, they made their reputation in both German and Russian forces.
