hi guys we get issued with these in brit army but a lot of us love the Cammenga, it's a lot more robust and sometime we need to call up you yanks to give support fire power & the cammenga has the Milatary degrees appropriate which ours don't, and + you dont have the same tilt declination problems, as a compass alone the cammenga is unrivaled, but when you have to speed read & accuracy on a map the protractor compass as in the silva is better, you take your choice i guess.
@12345AaronS None that I really like. Hence, much of the reason I made the videos. I'd try to get out and use your nav skills. Just start by using the compass when talking walks around town.
We have nav classes I like locally (Kansas/Missouri/Oklahoma) but many others are odd. Orienteering, or geocacheing people are pretty oriented to their games, so teach... oddly. But maybe worth it, and everyone has instruction in those areas.

@streetpunk99 That is the first time I have heard that. Told the wife. She'll love it, even if she doesn't agree.

I really enjoy your navigation videos. I'd like to learn more about the subject; are there any good books on the subject that you'd recommend?
